If you plan to arrive and depart via the train station, this hotel is not ideal. It costs between 15-18 euro to get to and from. The hotel was beautiful and very afforable but it wasn't close to anything. Since all we did was sleep there, it would have been better to stay closer to the tourist sites of Florence.

The hotel was very clean and modern. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is a ways from downtown, but does provide free shuttle service to and from the downtown area.

My wife and I stayed for two nights at the Hilton Florence Metropole on the tail-end of a short trip to Italy. We were very impressed with the accommodations, staff and overall experience. Even the location of the hotel, one of our key anxieties given that it is outside the city center, was not a problem (given that the hotel provides a shuttle to and from the Florence train station very regularly). We would definitely stay here again if we're fortunate enought to return to Italy!

This is our second time back to this lovely hotel. It is located about 15 minutes outside of the downtown area. This could be a "con" for some. We found this to be a "plus" as we enjoyed leaving the hustle and bustle of the downtown area to return to our serene, luxurious room at the Hilton. There is a VERY reliable (and FREE) shuttle bus that takes you to and from the downtown area on a regular basis. However, if you plan to go downtown early, make sure you get in line for the shuttle 15 minutes early to assure you get a seat. The food served at the restaurant and bar is ok, but it is WAY too expensive. 16 Euro for a small, tasteless burger? I feel the hotel gouges the hotel guests because they know there is no where else around the hotel to grab a bite to eat. Parking is plentiful and FREE if you park on the main level. 10 Euro if you park in the garage. Most all of the staff is bi-lingual (Italian/English), with the exception of housekeeping. The sauna and spa room is lovely, but again, there is a daily fee to use it. We feel this should be included in the room price. Overall, this is a fabulous, quiet, clean hotel. We highly recommend it.

The hotel is all it is recommended to be and provides a very good shuttle service to the SMN (main) railway station - which compensates for its distance from the center - but it does make it more time consuming and complex to arrange your day

The problem with this hotel is their shuttle. They only function until 8PM. Therefore, after 8PM your next best bet is to take the public bus. The public bus operates until 11:30. Therefore, if you are young and would like to hang out at nights in beautiful Florence, you have to take the taxi. Since the hotel is about 30 mins away from the city, the taxi charges you arm and a leg. That can get pretty expensive if you pay that amount every night. (30 euros/night) If you are the type to get in bed by 8, then this hotel would be awesome for you.

The hotel is 15 minutes away from the city without traffic. There is nothing to do around and no places to go without a car. Staff wasn't helpful at all. Breakfast cost U$20 each. The pool & jacuzzy cost U$30 per couple. For this price we could have found iin the city.

I would like to say that this hotel is worth the price. The hotel provides regular shuttle service from the main center of florence. I would recomend this hotel to everyone.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We chose this hotel mainly for the pool, fitness room, and rate. It is located on the outskirts of Florence, but there were always shuttles going into town. The last shuttle bringing you back to the hotel was 8:30pm. The room decor is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable with soft pillows and duvet covers. The fitness center is great, which has free weights and machines. Lastly, the pool! It is an extra charge to use the pool, but its worth it after a long day of walking. It has a waterfall and jacuzzi jets throughtout the pool...very relaxing.

The staff was so helpful in every way. They arranged a beautiful tour through Tuscany, got us reservations for the Uffezi Museum when it was sold out and gave overall brilliant service. The hotel was clean, lovely. The only area for improvement would be to increase the frequency of the shuttle buses into and back from the city center.

great location if you have a car, great rate,close to major roadways

This hotel is located outside the downtown Florence (about 10 minutes away), but it has a free shuttle bus to the Central Station every hour, which should convience tourists because tourism and activities start from there. There is basically nothing around the hotel (except a theater and a small mall), however, because of it, it is very quiet at night, and you can rest well. The morning breakfast is wonderful.

Great location with shuttle service into the city which was very convenient. The room was very comfortable adn the staff was extremely welcoming and efficient.

Un'ottimo hotel, raffinatezza eleganza e modernità ne fanno da padrona, camere grandil, silenziosissime ed finemente arredate . Accoglienza eccellente, pronti ad esaudire qualsiasi richiesta.Situato nella zona commerciale/aeroporto distante dal centro ma facilmente raggiungibile grazie alla navetta gratuita(ultimo rientro ore 22.30). Unico neo: quando torni a casa, non è così bello

hotel di ottimo livello, comoda la navetta per il centro,peccato che la colazione non fosse compresa nella tariffa, nel periodo di Pitti uomo la tariffa era conveniente, ma adesso che sto tornando a Firenze ho trovato tariffe più vantaggiose su altri hotel.

Struttura moderna, bella (in stile rigorosamente ed inconfondibilmente...Hilton), ampie ed "ariose" superfici vetrate, scelte architettoniche originali e massimo comfort da "automatismi" in camera, breakfast di qualità ed abbondante, parcheggio gratuito (prezioso a Firenze), servizio navetta per/da centro città, servizio Cortese, Puntuale, Gentile e Disponibile. Zona calma e decentrata il giusto dal "caos" centrale della Città. Vicino ad Autostrade e Statale per Pisa... Adeguato rapporto Qualità/Prezzo.

Unschöne moderne fassade, hotel punktet aber im inneren. zimmer modern eingerichtet, sauber, betten bequem. service schnell und zuvorkommend. zu verbessern: die quantität und auswahl beim frühstück auf dem zimmer, die zeiten des shuttle service nach florenz

l'albergo si trova in ottima posizione poco dopo l'uscita dell'autostrada e facile arrivarci..le camere sono funzionali al massimo...il personale molto cordiale...pulizie super..e comodita' per l'accesso alla citta' di firenze con la navetta....

Eh sì, mi son trovato proprio bene. Se dovessi tornare a Firenze ci farei un serio pensiero, c'è anche la navetta gratuita che porta in stazione centrale.
