Great stay! wonderful location overseeing the Seine meandres, next to the St Germain park and royal castle ... Breakfast with a view; perfect XVIIIth century style with modern comfort

The hotel was very charming and had a beautiful view with a lovely outdoor seating area where you could enjoy a glass of wine. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was compact but comfortable and clean.

Fantastic views over Paris. And the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in!

The bedroom was quite small and very hot during the night. The bathroom was spacious but the shower was merely a hand held one - no wall fixings and no shower curtain. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were extremely hard. Areas of the hotel were clearly in need of renovation. The food was over priced but it was very easy to eat in the town as […] it was only a 5 minute walk away to numerous restaurants. This is a very elegant hotel in a beautiful setting, in the upmarket Paris suburb of St Germain en Laye. The hotel dates back to the 17th century, so has lots of character and history. It is NOT an impersonal budget hotel (eg no tea & coffee making facilities in the room), but if you don't take breakfast or other meals in the hotel then you'll be paying […] the rate advertised. The room itself was large and spacious, with high ceilings and a small balcony overlooking the Seine. Very comfortably furnished, and everything spotless. The bathroom was large with a bath and separate shower and a separate WC closet. All very clean and towels fluffy and generous. Some other comments have said that the hotel is shabby, and some of the rooms are undergoing a refurbishment at the moment (so our stay was a little noisy). I would expect that rates will increase once the refurb is finished, so if you want the chance to stay in a historic building with panoramic views of Paris then I would take the opportunity now. St Germain en Laye is a pretty town with plenty of speciality shops (chocolatiers especially), as well as supermarkets, restaurants and bakeries. It is well worth a visit, although being upmarket some of the bars are Paris prices. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning. Ďalšie informácie

except that it is located outside of Paris (but only 20min RER ride), it is excellent choice of hotel. it is right on a huge park, hotel provides 180 degree view of Paris, exceptionally quiet and clean neighborhood. Near RER, restaurants. If you are looking to stay outside of Paris, it could be one of the best choice. *Breakfast in the morning offers […] a little choices--ham/cheese/bakeries/juices/coffee/hardboiled egg. Vi sov her en overnatning, vores værelse var ikke klart, så vi måtte vente en time, vi syntes godt de kunne tilbyde en kop kaffe mends vi ventede, men nej, morgen maden var dyr, men man bør spise i rasturanten på grund af udsigten, men en fin oplevelse tros alt, 5 min gang til undergrunds station, der kan man køre ind til midt Paris på 20 min. uden […] at skulle skifte.
