The hotel was exactly what we wee looking for. It was very clean. It would have been nice to have an extra chair in the room. Otherwise easy to find and close to our destinations.

This cozy hotel is tucked on a hill overlooking the famous Cow Palace. Although it was a little difficult to locate, I really enjoyed my stay. The bed linens were so soft & clean!

I am a commuter so a few days out of the week I will need to stay in SF. The hotel is clean, quiet, well kept and close to freeways. It is truly ideal for someone who is a commuter like myself or staying in SF for a long layover. Being a native of SF, I would not recommend the neighborhood to visitors who are not familiar with San Francisco. We checked in late so basically it was a place for us to crash. The room was clean and the bed was more comfortable than most at that price range. Worth checking out if you are visiting SF and you want to save a few bucks.

I was very pleased with my overnight stay here. The room was clean and quaint and quiet. Not really walking distance to restaurants but a nice place to stay.

Although the neighborhood lookes scketchy to me driving into the motel, once there the motel was cute and kitchy. The room was super clean and comfortable. There was a tv no DVD placer and a mini fridge and microwave. Everything was great quiet super quiet and DARK when the lights were off. In the morning we were watching news and microwaving the fuse […] blew or the breaker switched. Something we lost power but with a phone call tongue office all was restored in like 10min. Our stay was very comfortable here. I would highly recommend this place to someone who is looking for a free parking facility and complimentary breakfast. The location is convenient from the downtown and all the important tourist spots. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I was a bit apprehensive when reading the online reviews but I booked an overnight stay anyway. The location is very easy to find, te front desk clerk was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The best part was no parking fee, find that elsewhere in SF. The hotel provided an acceptable breakfast of cereal and pastries. However, the location of the hotel left a little to be desired. A taxi to or from the airport sets u back around $30; you are however close to bus stops to visit San Fran for around $2. The hotel is situated right across the street from Cow Palace. Nightly fee is suitable for area and its not a holiday inn but its accomidating. They Hotel/Inn has their own free parking directly infront of each private inn. The staff was very friendly and accomidating. Hotel/Inn it self is older construction style which needs some TLC. The bathroom shower doesn't offer a lot of room to manuvier in, so if you have children who require your bathing assistance may be somewhat difficult. The room is in a updated modern style decor w/mini frig and coffee maker. My only one concern with the room was that housekeeping needs to clean better under bed. There were stains on the mattress. Continental breakfast was nothing like the photo in the advertisement. They do not deliver it to your room like in the ad. Front desk often did not answer the phone. Location is across the street from the Cow Palace parking lot. that may be good for some people, but not us.

I absolutely loved our room. It was very comfortable with beautiful decorations. My favorite part was how our two beds were in one unit, but in seperate rooms. I felt it provided extra privacy. I also enjoyed the ability to shut the door & not hear other person snoring through the night.

kids liked the extra bedroom, but it was not a comfortable place tho clean. alpine is misleading, it's southwest/mexican themed. my first room would not unlock, had to switch rooms. i would avoid in future.

The Alpine Inn was a fantastic place to stay especially for the price. I couldn't have been more satisfied. Relaxing and comfortable. The service could've been friendlier but everything other than that was amazing. Comfy beds and located conveniently in Daly City only minutes from everything.

This was a perfect hotel for us because I was showing my horse at the Cow Palace and it was walking distance. The guest clerk was very nice and walked us to our room! Great Service!!! Thank you.

only problem was returning by bus from the city late in the evening. Hotel is fine, busses are not reliable. Management very nice, breakfast sufficient but not overdone, worked well for us. Parking not abundant, but we were always able to find a spot when we needed it.

The hotel is not in the best part of town, but I guess you get what you pay for. The lady working there did not seem very friendly, but the man that worked there was helpful. This hotel did offer a standard breakfast each morning. If you just need a place to sleep then this hotel is a nice place to stay.

Went up to see the Cowboys vs. 49ers. The hotel was pretty nice and conveniently close to Candlestick and Cow Palace. Parking was right in front of the room so that was a plus. While this is an older property, efforts have been made to update it. The surrounding area is not great but the bus stop to go anywhere is yards away. The front desk staff were really helpful and somewhat protective in discouraging us to try to eat out in the local area. The staff really made the difference for 2 women travelling.

We had a nice stay and it was very clean..The first night that we stayed there they had a power outage which left us with only one lamp working. So the second night we stayed, they gave us a huge discount . But all in all I loved it and it was really cute!!plus the it was only 6 or 8 miles from Fisherman's wharf and a few other must see sights.

It seemed ok when we first got there but then later that we ran into some problems there's light went out I later found out it was Edison having problem. But mean while there staff was untrain for this type of situation and instead of trying to make things better they made it seem like it was our fault that the power went out I got up at 2:30 am and […] tried calling them but no one picked up. Me and my husband were off to a nice get-a-way for some alone time and going through a lot of hotels for moderate prices when we kept coming back to this one. The pics looked amazing so we booked it. When we got to the hotel I was NOT happy with the location! I don't suggest any late night walks unless your looking to pick up a new friend to make some […] extra cash (if ya know what I mean). Bed was hard as a rock, pictures do not reflect true condition of the hotel. The surrounding neighborhood is ghetto. The only positive thing I can say is the service was good, they were very friendly. I would not recommend this hotel to others especially not at the weekend price that we paid.

I found my experience at Alpine Inn to be highly successful. The Inn itself is an older retro-style of small bungalows set back off a main thoroughfare on a hillside view site. This Hotel looks much better in the pictures. We had booked a non-smoking room which was labelled that way. It definitely smelled like someone had been smoking. If you want to stay in San Francisco, but away from the noise and chaos of the city, this is the place to be. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown by car or transit. Enough parking for all the guests, unlike other motels we looked at. Free wifi was great. The bathroom was too small though. The breakfast was OK, slightly better than what you find in other motels as "continental breakfast", however it could have used a little variety. Eating the exact same things for a few days can get boring. Not much to do around the hotel but we just used it as a base to shower and sleep, so no complaints. SAN FRAN can get expensive when it gets to hotels, and that is the reason why you're thinking of going this route. I think the place is great, rooms are quite nice, and you'll have a comfortable night to sleep in. But, If you think you can get to San Francisco's turistic areas walking... think again. It's next to bad neighborhoods, they don't seem that […] bad until you venture to the closest 7-11 and don't leave the car because of the shady people that surround you. This place will do if you're in a pinch and you're visiting/working in Brisbane. Bare bones. Not the type of place to park the family.

I needed a place to stay before I went to the airport the next morning. I found this place last minute on hotels.com. I also had my 86 year old grandmother my mom and my 5 yr old son with me. The neighborhood seems really guetto and I would never have a walk there by night, even during daytime, but the hotel itself is OK. Not great, but OK. Staff was very friendly.

Rooms are clean, well stocked and the staff was very friendly. The rooms have WiFi access as well as cable television and a good place to stay when just looking for a room without any additional outside amenitites.
