QUINAULT BEACH RESORT - Ocean Shores

We arrived at the Quinault, and loved that they offered free valet and had someone to open the door for you as you walked in. However, the young woman checking us in wasn't as polite as most of the other staff we encountered. She insisted I had booked one type of room when I had not, and acted very "put out" having to fix it. However, our room was gorgeous! […] The view of the ocean was spectacular. The in-house restaurant was decent, though it took quite awhile to get our food (our server was very apologetic). The inside was very good, however, it was not in a class with the beautiful beach just outside the door. We had driven down from Olympia to check out the snowy owls at Damon Point in Ocean Shores. They were magnificant.

Bed was too soft (Lumpy) and room smelled of smoking (they tried to Ionize). Most unhappy about noise in adjoining rooms, major noise twice in hallway. Understand thatthis is a casino, but rooms should anticipate noise from hallway and adjacent rooms.

Ocean Shores has always been a favorite destination for me and my girlfriend. It's a nice getaway to place that's beautiful and quaint. We decided on this trip to try the Quinault Resort and Casino. A place that has views of the ocean and a fire place in the room. I wanted a nice atmosphere so I could propose to my girlfriend on the beach. It worked […] and we're engaged now. That part was fantastic. As for the room, it was ok. I wish the bed was closer to the window so we could see the ocean and maybe hear the waves roll in. And sleeping in the bed blocked the view of the fire in the fire place. And as others have noted, the timer ticks and is kind of annoying. We liked the restaurant and the casino was fun. Overall we really liked it there, but there could be some improvements to the layout of the room and fireplace. I still recommend it though. Ďalšie informácie

This was a wonderful find, everyone nice, something for everyone to do, would go again when I have a chance.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights, loved the ocean view, but the room needed updating. The casino and public areas were smoky and the ventilation system is not adequate for the place. Perhaps a section of the casino where there is no smoking would help but not sure if the system can handle it.

Disapointed with the new windows the new windows didnt give you enought air. The playing in the casino was a pit and walk around and it just was us.

We found the facilities very clean & modern. The room was beautiful, as was the ocean view. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service. The prime rib buffet on Wednesday was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would recommend this place to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bed was very comfortable. Towels fluffy & clean bathroom. Loved the two sinks in bathroom--we could both get ready at the same time! Loved the casino--even won! Food was good and everyone was very helpful. We will do this again.

Was very disappointed about the place under -Construction, would like to know that before Booking. Normally we love it there. The windows was very dirty from bird poop dirty salt resin on the windows. barely could see the ocean. Furniture was dirty also and toilet was piling real bad.. the beds were very comfortable my only complaint is we were booked in a smoking room no non smoking available room was very very stinky...

The only friendly employees where the housekeeping staff. the place was underconstruction and the noice started early in the morning.not much of a resort. service in restaurant was poor.

The room was the standard king, ocean view with the 2 way fireplace, it was nice, the furniture was in need to replacing due to alot of wear, but it wasnt bad, the time we were there was during the construction of half the hotel so there was lots of noise throughout the day but it was bearable, the pool area definantly needed a makeover as it just looked […] old, stained like some cheep motel 6 in the middle of no where.... the very nice things are that the beach access is so close from their parking lot, very convienent ,and it was nice to be able to walk down to the casino whenever you wanted ha ha . all in all we had a great time there and would def stay again if their hotel wasnt so booked up all the time lol. great location for the bike rally. Really enjoyed " Hell's Bells" !!!!! We will be back for next year's rally

My second trip to this Casino Hotel and not disappointed. It commands a fantastic location with views of the Pacific. Pay the extra for an Ocean view - well worth it. Just 1 small criticism - the resaurant food is excellent but a few more vegetables wouldn't go amiss. Even if you don't use the Casino, this is a great place to stay.

I went to Ocean Shores for spring break and could not find a room anywhere else because the only dates I could go were during a clam festival. I got a reasonably priced room at this resort and was very happy I did. I needed a relaxing getaway and every other hotel was in the middle of tourist central. I got an ocean view room. The room was extremely […] clean, but the furnishings showed wear. The fabric on one of the chairs in my room had a rip and you could see the liner fabric underneath. Later that night I found out why it was so reasonably priced- it was right over the pool and it didn't close until midnight. I called the front desk and they said there wasn't anything they could do about the noise. There is also no complementary breakfast, and if Best Western offers breakfast comped, you'd think a resort would also. Or at least provide breakfast vouchers for guests to eat at the on-sight restaurants. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but there were ashtrays and matches in both the bedroom and bathroom. There was just a hint of smoke but it was very faint and I couldn't smell it most of the time. I would recommend this resort and will stay there in the future, but I will make sure to request a room on the other side of the hotel from the pool and workout room. Ďalšie informácie

Staff will not go out of their way for anything. I couldn't even order fries a half an hour before lunch because it was breakfast. For the cost of this hotel, the staff should be friendlier, plus we had a difficult time at check in.

The hotel and surrounds are beautiful but out of the way. We enjoyed our stay and would return. It is out of they way if traveling the major highways in the area. If you are not a trip up the coast you would miss. The only minus is there nothing around it. If you are not looking for it you will miss it.

This hotel is for you. Inside the room was not bad but the smell of cigarette smoke did find its way into the hotel room. The room is very nice its just the smell of smoke in the non-smoking areas that bothered me.

Our room wasn't all that bad as far as the smoke smell but as soon as you opened the door to the hallway the smell would just roll in. The air system in the main lobby kept the smell down also but I wouldn't stay here again. Hot tub was broke down while we were there which happens but there was green algae growing all inside.
