Love the decor and design; feels like old hollywood. Friendly staff, great valet (which was required and extra fee, but worth it). Love the 101 dinner attached. Must try the amazing french toast. Overall great experience at this hotel!

Great location close to the Hollywood Theater District. Easy walking distance to short cab ride to Pantages if you are there for an event. Staff was attentive. The property is a bit dated.

First time in Hollywood and was very impressed with this hotel. The staff was friendly and most importantly, the room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we liked that there were 2 shower heads in the shower so we could get cleaned up at the same time. The hotel was having some renovations on the ground floor. There was not a comfortable place in the lobby to meet friends who came to visit us while there. I have stayed in many Best Westerns & this one did not offer the amenities that we had become accustomed to in the others.

everything about this hotel is fine, but Cafe 101, which is right in the hotel is amazing. the food is great, lots of choices, you can go healthy or choose from a long list of great items for any time of the day. the people watching is a highlight in Cafe 101 at any hour. For the price of this room, the towels could have been better. Very rough and full of lint. If you approach the hotel from the east on Franklin, there is no sign on the building - there is a small Best Western sign on the west side though. Valet parking only (which there is a charge for). My vehicle would not fit in the parking garage (only 6' clearance, […] and I have a Toyota FJ cruiser with a roof rack), so they parked my vehicle in a small outside lot near the lobby, about 20 feet from the valet kiosk. I had to retrieve my vehicle twice, and both times I had to wait about 10 minutes for the valet to show up, and hand me my key so I could walk 20 feet to get my car. I thought this hotel was great (except for the parking but typical Hollywood) Nice room - kitchenette - huge bathroom plenty of space for 3 of us girls to get ready at once. I gave it a 3 for comfort because the bed hurt my back but again - nice room for an overnight stay close to everything.

Nice surprise. Really like the Hollywood decor. The bathroom is big. Little odd that the window doesn't have a screen. If there was one thing I would warn u about, it would be the noise. The walls seem thin. We could here the neighbors watching I Love Lucy. Other than that, this was a really good place to stay. We would go back. This Placed sucked and was loud all night long!

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were extremely pleased except our room was the munsters theme which I never was fond of the show. All in all our experience with the staff and the hotel we would recommend to anyone going to be close to Hollywood and surrounding area.

Phone was never activated, even though I told front desk. Wake up call not followed through. Room cold, could not find controls and phone did not work to ask desk how to raise heat.

Fun! Just pure fun at this hotel. If you are a movie fan, this is the hotel for you! Autographs of every major Hollywood star line the walls of the lobby! The rooms are spacious and clean. HUGE shower! I had room 119 and I will ask for it again. Great price and the 101 Diner is downstairs! Great food too! Just the ideal choice. Loved it!

Nicely renovated and clean, convenient and reasonible, memorable coffee shop

I was sent to LA for work and I decided to make a five day weekend out of the trip (we only had one day of training). I chose this hotel because of the reviews and the location. I was SOOOOO happy I did! Not knowing the LA area, I was a little nervous picking a hotel, but it worked out great. The beds were amazingly comfortable with nice pillow top […] mattresses and great pillows. This was a selling point for me - I am very picky about my bed. There were all the amenities in the room you will need - frig, coffee pot, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, cotton balls, Q-tips, and even an i-pod ready alarm clock. But the best surprise was the remodeled bathroom. Granite counter tops with two sinks, granite floors, granite shower stall with a rain-fall shower head, and a built in granite bench. .I felt ignored by front office staff when I arrived . 2 guys where working and none one them even look at me while I was waiting there for few minutes. Did not feel welcome , they were stressed and kinda look angry and i felt they really didn't want to deal with me. Parking was very expensive which was very surperising for me. Had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus. The elevator however is very small and I was traveling with my mom who is in a wheelchair. I would absolutely recomend this hotel though, clean, quality staff, near everything.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. I came to LA for one night to see a show at the Pantages and found the hotel to be 5 minute walk to the theater and the rest of the action in Hollywood. The hotel itself was clean and hip with a great diner connected to the lobby. I will stay there again.

We stayed at the Best Western in West Hollywood for three nights. Although the hotel does charge for parking, it was waived when they learned my husband was handicapped. Valet parking but they allowed my husband to park his own car. They were also very accommodating on NOT using disinfectants or fragrances in our room due to my husband's COPD. Staff […] was very friendly and recommended restaurants and printed out directions to them. No big chain restaurants in the area at all which for us was a minus. We like the familiarity of knowing what we will get. Access to the 101 is literally 100 feet from the hotel but freeway noise was not an issue...but our room was also "interior" facing the pool and not right on the outside of the hotel. The 101 Coffee Shop was not to our liking. Prices were crazy...$6 for a bowl of oatmeal? Maybe that is standard in California but we were shocked. Hotel "Crowd" in the evenings seems to be very young "hip" people and we felt definitely out of place as seniors. We bought instant oatmeal and yogurts and breakfasted in our room each day. Rooms include a fridge and microwave along with coffeepot. We got a great rate on Hotels.com and really could not have been happier with our choice. The only negative was the very small parking lot and leaving the hotel meant a long wait at the corner because of heavy traffic. Ďalšie informácie

This is a great hotel. Very nice inside and love that there is a restaurant on site. Only thing that I wasn't pleased with is I requested a room with 2 queen beds and I am pretty sure we got a room with 2 doubles. Other then that it is a great hotel.

AWESOME rate, fun hotel, terrific location, great diner! I go there alot on business and will definitely be back.

Only complaint was the TV. Bad picture and terrible remote.

I have stayed at Hollywood Hills now at least 20 times and LOVE it....whenever I have deviated and stayed elsewhere it's been disastrous. I will hopefully, always, book at this hotel. Plus, it's within 15 mins. of my daughter's home.

We liked the parking even though it is 15.00 per night. Always someone watching the car:)

We stayed three nights at the Best Western Plus Hollywood Hills hotel and were generally satisfied with our stay. The shower had two faucets so two could shower at the same time, this was a fun feature.

I booked this at the last minute because plans changed and was amazed at how great the place was. Yes, it's right near the freeway but noise was not an issue and the location is amazingly convenient. They've renovated the place and it's got a very cool 60's vibe going, while being fully modern, clean and comfortable. The pool area looks like something […] out of a movie set. Room was large, clean, great bed, 2-shower bathroom, and decorated with clever Hollywood/movie photos and art. The desk staff was extremely helpful and polite. And added bonus, the coffee shop attached to the hotel is another classic. Outstanding food and service in a vintage 60's environment. Highly recommend staying here! Lots of remodeling going on. Hallway had a strange smell. Room was good. Breakfast next door was very good except for $5 for OJ. Staff was professional and helpful. Would go back to see it when remodeling was done. Not the greatest neighborhood.

Close enough to the Hollywood Bowl half hour walk max. Very Close To Hollywood Boulevard (Kodak Theatre, Chinese Theatre etc.) $20 checker cab ride to Sunset Strip (The Rainbow, Viper Room, The Whiskey, House of Blues, The Roxy). Booked as part of a last minute decision to visit LA at the end of our two week holiday in California. We were limited on time but this hotel was ideally located for access to local sites including Universal Studios (5 minute drive) and Hollywood Boulavard with its Walk of Fame (ten minute walk). The hotel was in its final stages of a renovation but […] it made no difference to our experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful with local sites. Our room was modern, clean and spacious...and we were fortunate to get one with a view of the Hollywood sign (FYI - room 401). One negative would be the valet parking which costs about $20 after tip, but we managed to park on a neighbouring street for free, and I wouldn't let that put you off as most hotels seem to charge for parking. Overall it was a pretty good place to stay and the price was what sold me. The location was one the far end of the Hollywood stars (2 block walk) It is a little over a mile to get to the Kodak Theater just to give distance. The walk isn't bad because there is so much to see on Hollywood Blvd. The hotel was doing lots of renovations but it didn't bother […] us because they didn't work super early or late. The room was very clean and the beds were VERY comfy. They had a pool and it was a nice place to stay. There were 2 bad things I didn't like. 1) It was not clear how to get to the main lobby. 2 entrances said valet only and the I couldn't tell if the 3rd was a walk way or not. 2) They valet park your car (you pay at the desk) and the front clerk said we can just tip the guys.
