We went because it is near the Nugget BBQ Cookoff and is very convient to that location. The only complaint would be the room needed more lamps, it was a bit dark.

No refrigerator and it took several calls to get an extra ice bucket. Not a single available electrical outlet in the room. That was a bit odd having to unplug the clock radio and/or lamp in order to plug in my laptop or cell phone charger. Otherwise the hotel was clean and met our needs.

Stayed here during hot august nights. Perfect. Pool is nice and clean. Service could not have been better. We asked the desk to call us a cab so we could check out BJs Brewhouse (which is also great) the man at the counter called our cab and then on second thought cancelled it and had their shuttle make an out of the way stop just for us. We had originally tried the Nugget but the rooms requested were not available and if they were, the price was too high. The Holiday in was an excellent choice. Room and restroom clean. Towels and sheets comfy. The AC unit was too loud, and didn't have just a fan setting; nor did the windows open, so not using the AC was not an option. Also would prefer an exhaust fan in restroom and more electrical outlets throughout the room. Staff was friendly.

I had a very nice non-smoking room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful meal for dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. I would stay here again!

The only down side of this hotel is it is right on the freeway. That aside, it is very clean and nice. I don't like to stay at casinos on business trips and this is a comfortable place to stay and work. I stay here 90% of the time I travel to Reno. The Hotel resturant is OK.

The hotel was typical, but the restaurant was short-handed, it's only server/bartender completely new to being a waitress. Needs training before putting her on the front line!

Hotel was clean. Front Desk were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice. Only problem I had with this hotel was that there were few electrical outlets and outlets that were available in the rooms were hard to access. I have a lot of gadgets so electrical outlets are a good thing. Other than that this hotel was really good.

The rooms were immaculate. We picked a very busy holiday weekend with a major youth basketball tournament taking up much of the hotel rooms. The management ensured we were not disturbed and had what we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Nice place, easy access. Great when coming from central Utah to stay before getting into Reno. I'd stay here again.

The hotel clean and comfortable as to be expected. What makes this hotel outstanding is the customer service. We checked out of the room at 4am to catch a plane. The flight was cancelled and the hotel offered us the room back until 2pm in case we were able to make another flight. The weekend staff was incredible. The hotel was nice, when we check in we got bottles of water for each of us some chocolate for the kids and passes for breakfast, the room was big enough, comfortable beds except that they didn't have a microwave or refrigerator which is always good if you are traveling with kids, the bad experience we had was at the restaurant when we arrive we decided […] to have dinner, as soon as we walked in the girl at the bar told us that the restaurant was closed and that the chef had turn off the kitchen, it was 8:30 p.m The kitchen was suppossed to close at 9 p.m the waiter told her that he was gonna check if we could still order our food which we did but we felt rushed the whole time. Since Holiday Inn has all around made a standard for all their hotels these past few years, I have started to really appreciate the effort they have put into making all their hotels uniform. At this location, very much like the rest, it is clean, neat, modern furniture, nothing fancy, but has everything you need (as a business traveler). This location […] in particular, they specify in the room that you have two firm pillows and two soft pillows. Their beds are quite comfortable. I will stay here again. There are far cheaper options however because it is in the Reno area, but they are normally the casinos. I choose this location because it is away from the casinos and the entire building is smoke free. And it is quiet, even though it is next to the freeway, it did not disturb my sleep at all. We liked our stay here. The hotel was very clean and the staff helpful. There is a 24 hr. shuttle to The Nugget which is very nice. There is a dog area in the front with grass and bags to pick up your dog's leavins. We did stay with our pet and everything worked out just fine. For one night we would again stay here but prefer the Grand Sierra who is […] also pet friendly but they were full. The Holiday Inn is just a very short drive from The Nugget, a large fancy casino with free valet parking. This is important because The Nugget has several very good restaurants and otherwise the choices near the Holiday Inn are Perkins or the in-house dining room. The hotel itself, however, was admirable in every way.

Very disappointed in service at this hotel - took 15-20 minutes to check in and there were only 2 individuals ahead of us in line. Also, although we reserved a room with a king size bed (showed confirmation to individual at check in), we were given a room with 2 queen size beds. We were not told that we would not be given a room with a king size bed, […] this was a "surprise" for us when we opened the hotel room door. Common courtesy dictates that we should have been told about the hotel's lack of providing us with the right type of room upon check-in vs being surprised when we went to our room. In addition, we were just given our hotel room key with no indication of what floor the room was on or how to get to the room. Ďalšie informácie

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here while on business in Reno. Both times have been good experiences. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the air conditioners will freeze you out if you want them to. The staff is always kind and interested in your comfort. Housekeeping seems efficient and timely without trying to get into your room too early. […] I certainly recommend this motel to anyone who's not looking for a casino experience while in Reno. I reserverd a room with 2 queen beds on a non-smoking floor. I got one king bed in the smelliest smoking room right above a birthday party that went on until midnight. It sounded like a concert was playing in my bathroom

Nice linen and bed; quiet accept for having a connecting door to next room/

Clean and comfortable rooms; bed linen and towedl in good condition and clean

The only thing it didn't have that I would have wanted is a microwave in the room.

As a smoker its bad when I couldnt stand the smell of all the smoke in the lobby and rooms

Very pleasant staff, large, clean and modern rooms. I was very happy with this choice.

Great service,nice clean room and easy access to airport.
