When I need to relax in a beautiful setting, The Hadsten House is one of my favorite locations. It has everything that I need; nicely decorated rooms, great food and a pool with a Jacuzzi. It is a miniature oasis.

Solvang was one our stays on our way to San Francisco. We were very pleased with Hadsten House. Both our children enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. They could use a bit more variety.

The bedside lamps were very dark and not bright enough for reading. The dining room was also very dark, but possibly that's the decor scheme. Otherwise very comfortable stay in a clean room.

I arrived very late in the evening, after driving through the dark hills in the rain! This was.... first visit to the swedish themed, winery village. As we pulled in I realized I picked the perfect "Home" to represent the classic village of Solvang! I recommend this establish to all newcomers and frequent flyers alike.....

We enjoyed our stay at Hadsen House. The hotel rooms were nice, the staff was very helpful and the discounts for tastings at local wineries are a great perk! We went to the free breakfast the first day but not after that. It wasn't great and it was badly stocked. There was syrup, but nothing to put syrup on, the eggs and bacon were okay but everything […] else needed to be restocked. Come on - for the price we paid, couldn't they put a toaster and a loaf of bread out? We found a local restaurant a much better choice. But all in all, the hotel room was good and we enjoyed staying there. The location is central and you can walk to the local shops. I'd stay there again...but eat in town. Ďalšie informácie

We showed up 4 hours early and the hotel was kind enough to accomodate us. That was great since it was a 3 hour drive for us to get there. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and complimentary hot buffet breakfast at the restaurant. My wife said the bed was to hard, but felt fine to me. Just a matter of personal preference.

Ok for the money....breakfast was limited and salty

After reading others' reviews I booked a room at the Hadsten Inn boasting fireplaces in every room. This was the cheesiest part of the place, but something I was looking forward too - merely a glass pane separating a flame & fake logs that threw off no heat. The pool was beautiful and the jacuzzi was HUGE - both very well maintained and inviting. Hadsten […] mgmnt needs to invest in some nicer pool towels instead of the scratchy, gym rejects that are furnished in the room. The afternoon wine event was a nice touch as was the breakfast. The food needs to be reviewed prior to serving as we had potatoes that tasted like soap and metal - the eggs were awesome though. All very nit picky but details are very important when you pay $XXX/night. Location to all the wineries and eateries was excellent. Hadsten House rooms looks nice with comfortable large beds. The bathroom is a bit cramped but looks like they tried to work with what they had. I love the free breakfast, indoor swimming pool after a day of wine tasting and outdoor jacuzzi to enjoy the night sky even on a cold winter's night. It's one of the first hotels that you come across when entering […] the town, so it is a little bit of a walk to the main area. Although the room was neat, clean & ready upon arrival, there was little "extra" space to move about inside... and none outside. The breakfast was certainly adequate, but served in a dark "night club' atmosphere.... and NO Danish pastries in Solvang????

Very happy we booked this hotel and would return in an instance. Great updated room, jacuzzi-suite, complimentary American breakfast and walking distance to all. Highly recommend.

I've stayed at Hadsten Hotel multiple times now. With family and friends separately and each time, the hotel has made our stay comfortable and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised by the decadent decor of the hotel room. I actually forgot quite a few things and they were very nice to keep bringing us extra towels, toothbrush, toothpaste after repeated […] requests. We were very pleased with this hotel. The service at checkin was a little slow, but every thing was with in walking distance. We had a wonderful time.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the Hadsten House. The fireplace and sofa in the updated room made it cozy and the marble vanity bathroom was lovely. The warm, indoor pool was only surpassed by the large outdoor hottub flanked by two fireplaces. Breakfast was excellent in the dining room with linen napkins and fine service. We needed a home base for some wine country exploring, and enjoyed our stay at Hadsten House very much. It was spotless and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the room was quite spacious. The only things we were not thrilled about was the fact that outside light still came in at night since the only window coverings (and there are windows […] on both sides of the room) are wooden slatted shutters. And then, conversely, the room was very dark when light was needed, with the few lamps having black shades. They need to make the room brighter. Very nice property. The room was spacious, clean and well kept. The fire place fan was too noisy to keep running, however. The afternoon wine and cheese was appreciated, however the staff seemed more interested in socializing amongst themselves than attending to guests. The hotel was very elegant and the rooms were very clean. The only issues I had were the breakfast was served cold and the room I stayed in was too small. I expected the rooms to be a little more spacious for the price I paid. Other then this the location was perfect and I felt comfortable in the room just wish it would have been a little bigger.

Last minute reservations but very nice room and facilities, jacuzzi, indoor pool, fireplaces...very comfortable. Slight smell of sewage near the back of the property but other than that, Great! We'll be back and will refer to friends.

This place was great! They had a really good breakfast that was worth getting up for.

It is over rated, I was very disappointed and embarassed when they did not have a single danish pastry or croissant for breakfast! Before checking into this hotel I really searched the internet and I read lots of reviews. My sister was vositing from Itly and I was hoping to have a gret experience. I chose the Hadsen house because of the hot breakfast […] buffet. WHAT a DISAPPOINTEMENT! Nothing sweet to have with coffees; the potatos were so small and dry that we could't eat. Highly recommended for those guests who are concerned about a clean, nice room! Well worth the money! The restaurant was excellent! I would stay there again!

We were pleasantly surprised when we open our room door and saw how clean and nicely decorated it was. Small but very cozy. Loved the chimney in the room. The heated pool in the winter was awesome, the kids had a blast. For our complementary breakfast we were ready for muffins and cereal but again pleasantly surprised with a wonderful hot breakfast: […] eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, bread and oatmeal. My husband and I came around 6 pm on a Saturday night and was greeted by a less than enthusiastic pair of college-aged women who were either unhappy or bored. They just asked for the standard question of getting credit card info for incidentals and didn't even offer maps or brochures for our stay.

Nice place just a block away from the main town of Solvang. Private and pleasant with a true home feel to it. I certainly recommend it. The only thing that was not first rate was the breakfast; limited and the potatoes were possibly the worst thing I had on my entire California trip. Other than that, it was great.

Beautiful hotel, very comfortable, convenient complementary breakfast, well located. Room key repeatedly malfunctioned and would lock my children and I out of the room. On one occaission it took 3 trips to the front desk to get a key that finally worked.

Great, cozy hotel - walking distance to restaurants and short drive to wineries. Loved the heated pool and hottub after a day of wine tasting!

Because we were on a short trip to CA, and would be moving around alot while staying in various hotels, I did not bring my laptop on this trip. I assumed that every hotel would be equipped with computer access. The Hadsten House does not have computer in lobby for guest use. I cannot recommend the Hadsten House to my friends for this reason.

Loved our stay here. Beautiful and spacious room, very comfy bed, terrific little spa, GREAT restaurant, totally reasonable prices. The breakfast and afternoon wine reception included in the rate were both great. The walls are a little thin, but I think that's true for most hotels that aren't the very top-of-the-line, and if we hadn't had especially […] noisy neighbors (just unlucky), we may not have noticed as much. The location is wonderful, though, right next to the main strip in Solvang - very easy walk to shops, restaurants and tasting rooms in town. Overall, we had such a pleasant and relaxing weekend, and we felt this was a great value - I would strongly recommend staying here and enjoying a massage followed by a glass of wine and a delicious dinner.
