This hotel is really located, especially for the airport express bus link at the nearby Atocha station, which is also a major rail link. There's also a small private bus station nearby for links to Estremera, Fuentiduena etc. The hotel is nice and spacious. The staff extremely helpful. There are some quite small bedrooms. Having spent one night in what […] seemed to be a single room in which the safe was not functioning , we complained and were immediately transferred to a very fine double. Two small gripes ;- (1) There's no wifi. So a cable has to be borrowed from reception desk (no problem). Also if you need to print something it has to be sent by email to the reception. (2) This is second visit to hotel within 12 months and prices seem to have crept up, at a time when one would imagine that they would be going in the opposite direction. Ďalšie informácie

No complaints about this hotel. Excellent location (very central for sightseeing and an easy walk to Sol & Plaza Mayor), expansive breakfast buffet, surprisingly roomy bedroom & bathroom. Staff is very helpful as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Our room had a very odd smell in the bathroom (septic??). We also had a bit of a "roundabout" way to get to it. Good location and service desk was helpful.

Excellent. Close to the Madrid must-see museums. Personal is 10 points.

The hotel is close to the AVE station and within walking distance to Plaza Mayor. Good value.

I found this hotel as advertised and described in other reviews. Good quality, within easy walk of Prado, Thyssen, Plaza Mayor. Comfortable and adequate rooms. I requested early check-in and a quite room, and both requested were honored. Received good service and have no complaints. cb from the usa

My room was in the back of the hotel; I had to go through a deserted corridor that serves the meeting rooms. The decor is quite unatractive.

Excellent location, w/in walking distance from several museums and monuments, with a metro station right in front of the hotel. friendly, well informed staff and good breakfast buffet.

Although it says it is a non-smoking hotel, our room smelt of cigarette smoke. The staff looked bored and were not too bothered with making us feel welcome, but our stay was otherwise great and we were generally happy with the hotel. Close to all major sights and museums.

Hotel is conveniently located in Atocha near to most tourist attractions. Hotel is just outside Anton Martin metro and it is l metro stop from Atocha train station. There are also bus services outside the hotel which brings you to Plaza Mayor and Real Palace, Prado museum etc. You may wish to take a slow walk to Prado museum, Botanical Gardens and Retiro […] Park. There is a supermarket across the hotel where you can buy bottled water. There are many eating places near the hotel and there is a Thai restaurant opposite the Botanical Gardens which serve reasonable good food and steamed rice. The buffet breakfast is excellent and the spread is good. Room is clean and the toilet is modern and rather new. Surprising there is no kettle in the room even though this is a 4-star hotel. I had to ask for hot water to make herbal tea for my son who had a sorethroat. Would be good for hotel to provide tea/coffee services in the room as guests may want to sleep in after a long flight. . If, like me, you do not intend to spend too much time in a hotel room when there is so much else to do, then this hotel ticks the right boxes. It is clean, well located and with a metro stop on the doorstep you are into the excellent Madrid metro system in no time. Of particular note during my stay was the extremely helpful assistance of the reception staff when I had a particular problem regarding an event ticket I was having difficulty obtaining due to the provider's inadequate collection instructions. This hotel is near a metro stop and the Atocha Train station. Also near Plaza Mayor. Good clean rooms. The street was OK, not great, but just a few blocks from everything. We stayed one night then caught the quick train to Seville. I would recommend it.

I reserved a double room, 2 twin beds for my son and his friend. They were placed in a room with 1 bed and had difficulty communicating with the front desk staff to correct the problem.

Ett helt ok hotell som ligger gångavstånd till många sevärdheter. Rummen var dåligt ljudisolerade, wifi fungerade bara på ett visst ställe i hotellet inte på rummen. Om man mest ska vara ute så är det bra alternativ.

Muy bien situado y cómodo para moverse al centro, incluida la parada de Metro en la puerta del hotel (Antón Martín). Bien en general.

En general me pareció una muy buena elección. La ubicación, la atención, los servicios y el estado de mi habitación me agradaron mucho. SIn duda, si tengo oportunidad de regresar a Madrid, mi primera opción será Hotel TRYP Atocha.

The hotel has great value for a reasonable price. A metrostation is right outside and makes everything easily accessible. If you want to walk you can walk to most important places as we did. tres bon accueil et surtout dans l'ensemble disponibilite du personnel ,malgré un grand flux de touristes

Il devrait être possible d'attendre de la réception un accueil plus souriant pour les clients qui sont en vacances ou en loisirs.

Hôtel confortable, bon rapport qualité-prix,chambres propres sans moquette nid à poussière, bonne literie, buffet petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Ce bel édifice ancien (superbe escalier monumental ! ) a été modernisé et décoré dans un style actuel sobre.

Al contratar una habitación individual, me encontré con una habitación ...que el baño era más espacioso en proporción que la misma y...por supuesto, al precio que pagué por ella. Daba a un patio interior pisable( no apto para miedosos) donde cualquiera podría entrar a pie llano y ventana pequeña y alta de respiración, cero luz, con una música o ruido […] permanente de desconocida procedencia. Bodde på Atocha i två nätter och är mycket nöjd med hotellets standard. Nära till centrala delarna och alla restauranger och barer. Kommer åka hit igen.

Excelente hotel de muy buena calidad ubicado muy cerca de los lugares de interés como la estación de trenes Atocha, el Museo del Prado, Plaza Mayor, etc que tranquilamente uno podía acceder caminando. El personal fue amable y siempre respondió a las inquietudes que se plantearon. La habitación limpia y cómoda. El único punto en contra es que la tarifa […] que pagué no incluia el desayuno, pero de todas maneras saliendo a la vereda del hotel estaba lleno de bares y lugares donde conseguir desayunos completisimos y a muy buenos precios. +Très bien situé proche de tous les sites touristiques, nous avions la chambre n°5 très calme protégé du bruit de la ville. -Pour le petit déjeuner ,la salle est très bruyante.

Bodde på Tryp Atocha 8-12:e maj. Hotellet höll den standard jag vförväntade mig, personalen var vänlig och tillmötesgående, rummet var fräscht och frukosten helt ok. Det enda negativa var att det var ganska lyhört, men det ordnar man lätt med öronproppar :-)

Locatie naast Metrostation is ideaal. De drukte in de straat valt 's avonds mee. De uitgaansbuurt is meer in de straten achter Calle Atocha. Voor een vier sterrenhotel is de kamer eigenlijk te klein. Vi var tre personer som hadde dobbeltrom med en ekstraseng. Ble ikke så mye gulvplass på rommet igjen, men det gjorde ingen ting da det er byen Madrid som skal oppleves. Badet var tipp topp. Hotellet hadde en veldig sentralbeliggenhet og var nærme det populære matmarkedet, Plaza Major, det store søndagsmarkedet og hadde mange restauranter og barer rett […] ved.
