The hotel and room was clean, easy parking, and convenient location with several dining options and shopping nearby. Many reviews note the firm mattresses as being unpleasant, but the three of us found them comfortable. I've stayed here several times and always found it good for my purposes. One caveat though, the walls in this hotel are very thin. If you happen to be near anyone making noise you can hear it clearly. Most people that stay here seem to be on business trips, so this isn't usually an issue. This most recent time my luck ran out, and I was up late a couple […] of nights because of noise. Other than that, it has always been a great spot for me when I'm in Reno for work. If you're looking for something clean and (mostly) quiet, this is your spot. Probably not a good space for people who want to be close to the action though, its' about 15-20 min on the freeway from downtown Reno, and most of the casinos. Basic, new, clean place with friendly staff to stay in.

I found the hotel room very clean, in as new condition, well equipped kitchen area. Staff was very friendly and efficient. I certainly would be happy to stay there again. And recommend it to others. WiFi was supposed to be free and complimentary - I did not find it that way - I did not bother to go and complain though. Why does the fan must run all the time and at such high speeds is beyond my understanding. b) No sound proofing to talk about - door between the entrance/reception and the room corridors would make a difference. Easy to find Hotel, well situated with Restaurants close by and large shopping mall. Staff very friendly, good amenities with Wi-Fi , and good laundry facilities on site. Staff knowledge of local area and Tahoe/Squaw Valley area excellent. Denny at front desk. Ery helpful, but all staff very good. My friend and I stayied at the Extended Stay America in Reno for New Year's Eve (from Dec 30- Jan 1) and It was a GREAT choice. The location was perfect. It was around the corner from the main road that lead to casinos, but it wasn't actually on the strip, so it was away from all the chaos. The location was also really nice, next to resteraunts and […] stores and just a nicer neighberhood in general. I didn't bring an itinerary, and the nice man at the from had it all ready, expained about the hotel, inital, and good to go in 2 min. No "check out", you can just take off. Room was clean, full kitchen, huge space, great price. Only complaint is the horrible lighting all throughout the room. But overall, excellent. Would stay again and highly recommend. my boyfriend and I worked all night till 6am in san francisco. we picked up my kids and made the 4 hour drive to south reno, hoping to check in early and get a nap. upon arrival one of us was sick from the motion of the car ride. i walked in to registration asked the clerk behind the counter if we could check in early and explained our situation. the […] clerk went to the computer to pull up if there were any rooms available. before she could see what they had. the manager interrupted rudely and said no! we have no rooms available. when the manager walked away, the clerk said call me in a half hour we will probably have something. i waited a half hour called back, and was told they wouldn't have anything until 230pm. when we returned at 230 we were unable to check in until 3pm. i requested a rollaway bed for 1 of my children. i was given an air mattress informed they dont have roll away beds. we made our way to our room finding the room clean and the facilities comfortable. I closed the door and locked the bottom lock and the security bar. we layed down to take a nap. a few minutes after laying down. someone outside our room had used a key coded for our room making several attempts to enter the room scaring my children. A call to the front desk revealed no help or apologies. prior to going to bed for the evening, I prepared the airmattress for my son. At 1 in the morning he stands up crying because the air mattress had deflated. i was very disappointed in the service at this hotel. I will never stay here again. Ďalšie informácie

My stay at the extended stay was great, close to downtown Reno, about a 10 min ride. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I was given a room that was intended for smoking which was not a good thing for me. The room smelled of cigerette smoke, but all I did was ask for a non-smoking room and I was switched to a new room. Great basic hotel. Full kitchen, super clean, close to casinos and convention center. Room service once a week. Not a big deal if you are only staying a few nights. Ask at the front desk for shampoo bottles, only soap supplied in room. Got a great rate on hotels.com. Second time I have stayed here. Would come back again.

Walls were a bit thin and bed was very hard. No maid service over a three day stay. Temp control good, and the kitchen set-up was nice. Not top end, but it was sufficient and a good choice for the cost.

Upon our arrival the front desk personnel checked us in quickly and efficiently. After we had a chance to go to our room and then came back downstairs they checked to make sure everything was alright. We found the room to be clean. Was somewhat surprised that there was no "maid service" to at least give us clean towels and to straightened up the room […] while we were gone the first day. But then, after reading the handout we were given upon arrival, it did state that would be the case. Very basic room and service, but comfortable and adequate for our purposes. I was very pleased with my stay at Extended Stay America. As you know maid service is performed once a week hence the low rate. However, I was impressed with the condition of the property as well as I my room. For the most part, the building looked new including the caulking in the bathroom. I will stay at Extended Stay America again.

Friendly staff. Room in very good condition. Other reviews complained of noise, but it wasn't a problem for me. Building construction is typical of recent mid-range hotels. Others complained of hard beds. I've had similar in a number of modern hotels, and like them that way.

This hotel on the outside looks clean, its close to a gas station, bank, grocery store , within walking distance to a cool bar with good food ect, and for my business purpose its was close to where I was going...I felt like I was bothering the front desk clerk when i checked in. In short I paid for a certain type of room, didnt get it. i wasnt offered […] anything other then free wifi...I didnt care about the extra 5 dollars a day for that I would have like a better room.You know she gives me free wifi like that was a great deal then gives my buddy free wifi as well even though he got the room he booked. so kinda took away from gettings something for nothing... The hotel smells like old wet carpet and cigarettes. I walked in one night and there was such a foul smell of amonia or something That I literally gagged and walked to my room with my Shirt covering my mouth and nose....mean while the front desk people are hanging out like they dont even notice. I consider myself to have a pretty high constitution but that smell literally almost made me vomit. My bed was hard as a rock and it felt like I layed a sheet on top of a concrete. So, needless to say I woke up sore and tired. My room was clean, I guess but it smelled like old mans stinky after shave. I had no complimentry toiletries. just one lousy bar of soap and that's is it. Overall ,I stayed here because my other co-worked were here last time and it was kind of convenient to where we were working. The room was clean and comfortable. However, I will agree with some of the reports of the beds being hard. But the hotel offers pads if this is the case.

We stayed here because our ski cabin had water issues. We booked the room on the same day we checked in so the price was the selling point, but like anything else we got what we paid for. The hotel is located about 10 miles away from the downtown area, so it is a hassle if you want to go out. Also, the mattress was harder than a rock, we tossed and […] turned all night long. The bed was a HUGE turn-off for us. Furthermore, the hotel advertises internet access, but when we got there we found out the they charge $5 for WIFI, and the internet is supper slow. The positives are staff was very helpful and kind, plus the room seemed very clean. It's true - the beds are really hard ;-) the hotel staff is friendly but they should work on the cleaning. the room looked clean but when we looked under the beds when leaving we discovered things that probably were laying there for months. other than that the stay was pleasant.

I was looking for a comfortable place at an affordable price to spend a quiet weekend. I am happy to say that I found it and will return to this hotel in the future.

clean, neat, inexpensive; not fancy. reasonable location.

Was not a run-down hotel. Was clean & quiet. Like most ESA hotels - is not amenity rich - had to ask for shampoo.

the hotel knows that their beds are hard as a rock and offer mattress pads for those who want them. we requested them 2 weeks in advance yet when we got there, they said they didn't have any. our stay here was nearly sleepless. will not stay here again.

Our reciept stated that we booked a non- smoking room and eventhough I made reservations two mounths in advance, they didn't have a room for us. They gave us a smoking room but it smelled very much of smoke and the guy at the desk said that our only other option was to pay $10 more for the night and get an upgraded non-smoking room. We didn't feel that […] we should have to pay the extra money. After a bit of protest, the desk guy let us have it for the same price. If you are going to be in one location for a few days the convenience of a kitchen is a must. Staff very helpful.

We had a non smoking room that smelled like smoke. The location is desirable and quite, but the houskeeping could use some improvement.

Small front lobby but the room was very comfortable. It was so nice having not only a microwave and full size fridge, but the sink to wash dishes in was very handy. I didnt think the layout of the room was very good though, the bathroom was right in front of the kitchen =( Bed was not that comfortable but the overall conveinence and cleaness of the […] room outweighed anything bad. Unfortunately, any hotel in a state that allows indoor smoking will smell, but our room was designated smoke free and still, it smelled of cigarettes. Not really the fault of the hotel. The beds were a little stiff. The help was great the night we got there.

Other than the fact that the room was hastily cleaned before our arrival (there were hairs on my pillow case), the room was well furnished and spacious. Certainly got my money's worth.

King size room was very ample. Replacement towels, shampoo etc. available at front desk. Staff was very helpful. Bed was too firm, even with foam pad. This could be a problem for some.
