One of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. I would NOT recommend and will not ever stay at this hotel again.

While a wonderful location within walking distance to the lift, the service and condition of the room was a great disappointment. Shabby is the only term to describe the whole place!

Mountainside Inn is located on the Telluride (town) side of the ski area between the gondola and Chair 7. Telluride Trail has an "exit" that took me to the front door of my building - a hairy little 20 yd. drop. My room was one of lowest cost rooms I could find, and included a small but functional kitchenette, comfortable bed, additional single bed, […] and decent bathroom. Everything was comfortable, clean and functioning. The office is only open limited hours and there was some confusion with my reservation, despite my best efforts to get it straight ahead of my arrival. It all worked out fine. As everybody comments on, there are only 18 parking spaces for a 40 room hotel. The "remote" parking lot is a 2 minute drive and 5 minute walk away - so no big deal. I was there Mon Tues Wed and there was always a parking spot in the hotel lot, although they closed it my last evening for snow plowing and I ended up having to move my car to the remote lot anyway. There is an outdoor hot tub next to the office but the outside temp was too cold to try it. Didn't see anyone in it. I would definitely return to this hotel. It was walking distance to the gondola, restaurants and downtown shops ... very good location. We hardly used the car.

Older Condo, not close very close to the downtown area but there was a shuttle nearby. Close to Schools if your staying overnight for a school event. Service at front desk was very friendly.

Value for money budget condo - only issue was offered discount lift tickets on website but no mention made three needed to be booked one week on advance so on arrival had to pay full price. This annoyed me.

Highlights: ski-in access (right across from chair 7, a short walk to the gondola) and walkable into town. Everything else leaves something to be desired - staff was aloof, rooms were in need of refurbishment, hot tub was ridiculously tiny and completely unused and parking is extremely scarce. We had a great time at Mountain side Inn with our dog Maddy. Great skiing and walking. Lifts and store close by. Bags and disposal of dog pop all along river trail. .

The hotel staff was very nice. They called us prior to arrival to let us know the office would be closed for a few hours. The room was clean although a bit small and the mattress had seen better days. Location great and we would stay there again.

Everything was in working order. It was very clean. My bed was comfy and the shower had hot water and lots of pressure. Several reviews complained about its condition, but it I didn't sense any kind of "ick" factor. very convenient, room was a little small, but clean. Room next door had 2 small children and 2 dogs, so really heard more from them than we wanted to.

This room was fine if you don't plan on being in the hotel that long. The sheets had dirt stains on them when I opened them up. It was doable for one night, but more than that & I would have paid more for a cleaner/cozier hotel.

Decided to do a last minute road trip to Telluride to catch the Imogene Pass Run. This hotel is right on the mountain as you enter the great town of Telluride I went on a whim to get in some good hiking and I was not disappointed. Also parking seemed an issue for some people but the Telluride Mountainside Inn has access to a free parking lot with a voucher ticket that they give you at check-in. The hotel offered 2 single beds to our family of 4 but then changed us to one full and one twin bed. Office closes at night so no staff available for bedding for floor. Hotel had a dormitory feel. Room was clean enough but if you have a multi day visit and you want housekeeping it will cost you and additional $16 a day. It is hidden behind a nicer looking hotel and gives you the impression that that is the one you are staying at until you find your way around the back to the lobby.

Upon arrival, we were able to park adjacent to the facility's office. Because Telluride is so small, we did not have to use the car for our entire stay (3 days). The hotel and room were clean and odor-free. Although the room was small, we spent most of our time outdoors, so the size did not matter. We would consider staying here in the future.

I've stayed at a LOT of hotels, from very inexpensive to very expensive and swank, but I have to say that our experience at the Days Inn hotel in Montrose was the best we've ever had ANYwhere. Hotel was nice enough, although no maid service or new towels. Check in was awkward as we arrived after the office closed and they did not have our name on the keys. All was explained when we called the number given, but we did not know about the office closing beforehand. Our reservation said late checkin.
