I spent two nights here with my daughter. The overall room was good for the price. It is located right at the 161 and HI30 junction 20 min from Dallas or FW. 10 min to HI20 to new outlet mall. Linens were clean, bathroom was clean (fixtures need some updating), breakfast is standard high carb meal (waffle, muffins, cereal) although eating area is small. The staff and the hotel itself were exceptional. We needed to check in early upon arrival and the lady at the desk was accommodating and very friendly. The room was also very clean and the location was not difficult to get to at all. There is construction going on, but still was not a problem getting to the hotel. Almost impossible to get to the hotel if you can find it. Driving through an abandoned Denny's is the only entrance. Address is on 161, but hotel is located on Interstate 30. Unfortunately for the hotel, the continued construction of Tollway 161 intersects right at IH 30 and what used to be NW 19th Street (hotel on SE corner of intersection). Very difficult in and out of hotel, having to drive extensive detour route just to get to hotel or back to hotel. Not the hotel's fault, it's the progress of 161. It would have been […] help to know this up front as there was another La Quinta a little further away, but would have been much easier to get in and out of (actually woul have saves me much more time). While I'm sure the sheets on the bed were clean, the pillows smelled badly and I didn't think the room was as clean as it should have been. The hotel is close to most anything you need. The staff was a bit lackidasical when it came to disturbances. The hotel has a security staff but it seems as though they don't roam the grounds. There was a group of motorcycle people that were having a party and into the morning, we had to call the front desk to complain about the noise.
