We stayed here for one night and the neighbors sounded like they were doing constuction all night. The free "breakfast" consisted of cookies and milk and cereal. The location was very close to everything we wanted to see and do and only 5 minutes from the shore. I would reccommend this hotel to others. i liked the overall location of the hotel!!! only thing i was upset about was the house keeping didnt come in to often to clean while we were there!! had to ask for clean towels and had to empty our own garbage!!!

Though this hotel was nothing fancy, but they sure know how to make a guest feel welcome. Everytime we passed by the front desk, we were greeted warmly. The continental breakfast was decent. Not much to it, but the food was good. Only problem was that the food ran out quickly and there wasnt much a a selection the second day we were there.

Ok we were looking for somewhere resonaable to stay.........the price was good............the musty smell the elevators needed to be cleaned...the beds were to hard, the sheets had not been changed on the one bed we slept on the other and prayed they had been changed........the tub in the bathroom has stains in the tub.....I think this place just needs […] a renovations done to it...........the Huddle House next door was best to the stay at the hotel....cause the breakfast bar was to busy and not stocked fast enough........so we went next door for breakfast! We only needed a place for one night, luckily. The room was pretty run down. Beds and bed linen not very comfortable, but the worst part was that our air conditioner wasn't working in our room. This was a good hotel for the price. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. I would recommend you bring your own pillow as well, the ones provided were not very good. But overall I would recommend this hotel to someone on a budget or even for a short stay.

"It worked!"
The hotel was adequate. It is a little old but clean. it was close to the beach which was the reason for us choosing it. It's a good place to stay if you don't plan to be spending too much time in the room. A plus was that the staff was super friendly and helpful.

"A good deal"
At the time we booked this hotel was the cheapest in it's area. I thought that meant it would be terrible. It wasn't great, but it was just fine. It's wasn't low class. It is a long walk to the beach, but it is walkable and I was dragging a cooler. So overall, I thought it was a pretty good deal.

The non smoking room linen still smelled like it was used by a smoker. There was a new Dead cockroach the size of my thumb (I am 6'6 300lb so I have a big thumb). The bath tub had a warped floor and I almost fell twice trying to wash up. The continental breakfast was ok. The hotel is located on a main thorough fair. It was surrounded by what ever type […] of resteraunt, mini -golf course you want to try. The mall and Walmart were about 5 min away by car. Which is a good thing as I wanted to spend as little time in my room as possible and not just cuz I wanted to hit the beach. Big, clean room with Kingsize bed. Not on Ocean front, but close to water and the main strip {Hwy 17} Went for Mustang week and was within 3 miles of event. Excellent staff, very helpful with directions, advise. Came with continental breakfast. A refridge was the only thing I wish this room had, but we made due with ice bucket. Nice hotel, stayed one night only. Located very close to the House of Blues. Needs some maintenance but overall would recommend to others.

The hotel was clean - our room and the lobby. The breakfast was very good and fresh. The staff was very friendly. The room was old but good enough for what we wanted for this stay. The location of the hotel was excellent for what we wanted. We would stay there again. This was our 2nd stay and last time we walked to the beach pretty easily.

"Close to House Of Blues, but......."
The staff was very nice, and the hotel quality was OK, but there was a lovely view from our room of a trailer park. We also saw some suspicious activity at the pool. We didn't feel very safe there, but certainly there were no incidents toward us to validate this feeling. The continental breakfast was decent, but we would probably not chose to stay here […] again. the hotel staff was the friendliest I have encountered and the hotel was very nicely kept. The huddle house across the parking lot is a great place to eat too.
"Way Better Than Expected"
I don't know why, but I expected this hotel to be shotty, but it wasn't at all. The room and bathroom were large, comfortable, and clean. There's an all night diner right next door which is very convenient. Staff were helpful and polite. Room even had mini fridge and safe. I was pleased.

The hotel is old but for the price who cares. Would have like to had a bath tub that was not so stained. But again for the price and how close to the beach it was a great place!!! Will stay there again. Great staff!! Very nice people. Wish I could remeber the lady's name. She working in the morning she is very thin and short hair. She was great!!!

The Super 8 Motel at Barefoot Landing was very discusting. The bathroom had left over hair in the tub and floor. The room had a very strong smoke smell even though they said they sprayed for it. I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE.

The bed is hard as a rock like sleeping on a stack of plywood with a flapjack for a pillow! Plus my son found 2 blood spots when he turned his pillow over! The description states waffles on the continental breakfast but no waffle maker was present. There were old makeup stains on the fabric shower curtain (inside the shower). The desk staff were very […] courteous but I will never stay here again. Luckily we only spent one night here and we were hardly there except from 10:30pm- 9am when we checked out. When we came back from dinner the parking lot was full and we had to park in the back left lot and it was not lit. I didn't feel safe leaving my car there but there were no other spaces. I was not overly thrilled with the quality of the hotel, but as they say you get what you pay for. The price for the room was very good and I was prepared for a basic hotel room, not expecting the Hilton, where I stayed by the way for the following two nights for a conference. On the good side, the sheets were clean and fresh and the noise level was […] less than expected given that the hotel seemed to be full of workers staying there while working in the area. They were well behaved and pleasant. The young man who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful and our continental breakfast was as advertised. On the negative, my room looked as if someone had run a vacuum over the carpet for all of two minutes. The bathroom was filthy- it looked like someone had spit all over the sink and it was not cleaned. There were hairs all over the bathtub. At least the commode was clean and I did have clean towels. While the location of the hotel is nice, close to many "tourist" areas, getting in and out of the complex was seriously difficult, especially during rush hour. "good for the money"
Checked in 1 room, the air wasn't working properly. they changed me to another room, with no problem. I did have only one problem, the shower curtain would not close and a little rust at bottom of tub.
