This place was an oasis in Tucson. Tucked away in an unseeming area of town, it's clean, somewhat secluded, and was great for the price. The views would have been better a few decades ago, but urban sprawl has taken a bit away from that. The customer service was fantastic, as well as the attached restaurant. The room was extremely clean, but somewhat dimly lit (other rooms may not have had this issue). We had a serious problem with the room being 85 F late in the evening 10:00 PM. We could not open the windows and there is a period when no maintenance personnel are on the premises and the one who was supposed to show was late. I do not know why there is a time period without any maintenance personnel. had the been a serious plumbing problem such as […] a burst pipe, I guess it would just run until the next shift. Very pleasant surprise after pulling in the driveway. Ask for a 1st floor room or hotel service if you have heavy luggage as there is no elevator. Also request a room that is not facing the East. "Wonderful surprise"
Took a chance on last minute deal from hotels.com. Price was great, and we were pleasantly surprised at what a lovely hotel it is. The room was huge - high ceilings and very spacious. It was very clean and comfortable. The grounds are lovely and secluded. It is located on a very busy street and quite centrally located, so it was a surprise to find the […] grounds so peaceful. Happy hour at the hotel restaurant was very reasonable, and the patio was a great place to spend some time. We returned for a late night dessert, and had some problems with our order, but the server took pains to compensate us. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked a second night. "Great Resord"
The resort staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an allergy to down, and called the front desk to see what they could do. Housekeeping was there in a matter of minutes with some blankets for the bad, and took away the down pillows and down comforter. The Deluxe room was large and comfortable, with a fireplace, which was a pleasant surprise. The […] décor was very appropriate for the area, with nice Southwest touches placed throughout. The pool area was very nice, but it did get a bit crowded at times. The restaurant had great food, and the wait staff was excellent. We’ll definitely be back. We really enjoyed the property and its unique layout. The room was spacious and clean and the furnishings, bath etc were of high quality. The restaurant provided pleasant surroundings. "make sure you stay in the newer section."
Room had carpeting and was very dirty. Nice looking surroundings and thought I had a good deals but would have rather stayed at the Country Inn where I stayed previously.
