Room was adequate if noisy. Slight odor of mold met me as I entered the room but dissipated over time. Staff was superior, particularly the cleaning staff; they were all personable, professional, and attentive. Hotel seemed suited for transients and blue collar workers on the road. Pros: Free internet, parking, bfast, the staff at the restaurant were so nice/helpful/accommodating. Cons: Rooms could use some updating, even with some newer linens and pillows to brighten things up. Amazing what a little paint would do. What a DUMP the outside of the place is filthy Change the carpets fix the busted light and clean the windows. Needs a real bad cleaning.

This is an "old time" motel - probably built in the 60's when El Camino was the main drag. Other establishments in the area of the same era. Stayed here before, but this particular stay - after 4 nights, we decided to stay an extra night, and we couldn't stay in the room we were already in! They had already booked it! So, we had to move ALL our stuff to a much smaller room - twin beds instead of queen size - and upstairs!!! AND, had to pay same price I had already paid for the first 4 nights! […] That, to me, was really unfair! I believe they should have given us a discount for the inconvenience of us having to move all our stuff to a smaller, twin-sized beds, upstairs room!!! They acted like they were doing us a favor!!! Overall, I was very satisfied. Front desk staff friendly and helpful, room clean and bed comfortable. I appreciated the "environment-friendly" option: to not have sheets and towels changed since I was there more than one night. Good hotel that is an inexpensive alternative to San Francisco hotels. It is a bit dated but has very good service, great full breakfast every day, and is in a decent neighborhood in Santa Clara (I walked the neighborhood every day and met people to say hello to). I came into town for business and was delighted by the helpful staff. The room was clean and I enjoyed my stay. My only gripe would be about parking. The spaces are close together or unmarked clearly so I was often afraid of getting my car hit. I was fortunate enough to not have that happen. You have to ask for an iron and ironing board at the front desk, and I think they only have one for the whole hotel. The big selling point for this hotel is the amazing full breakfast buffet that you get.

I spent one night on a business trip because my usual hotels were full. It turned out to be quite pleasant. Pros: Clean room and reasonable price for Silicon Valley, full hot breakfast, free Wifi. What a dump! There was chipped paint and dirty walls everywhere. The bed was not good, and the noise was extraordinary. No hair dryer in the room. Bathtowels the size of hand towels, thin and nubbly to boot.

Knowing that this is a low-priced motel should frame your expectations accordingly. Everything works as advertised and the standard of cleanliness was average, though the carpets used as the walkways between rooms could use replacing. Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly comprehensive and was more than adequate.

I use this hotel when my guys are working down in this area. It has truck parking and food on site. That is really convenient when you can't drive a big work truck around. I would recommend for anyone traveling to this area!

Old, but solid, reliable, and one of the few hotel breakfasts aimed at those who don't want to carbo-load in the morning.

I complained to the front desk about the water draining problem. I also told them the review was right about them and they should fix. They had a plumber who came in and replaced the whole system in 30 min. Good job!

I stayed in the hotel for a week on a buisness trip and didnt regret it. While it is not the marriot, it is tidy, room service every day and the heater got the room warm very fast (had a stay in december and it was freezing outside during the night). Some Housekeeping friendly sometimes they didn't do thorough clean as expected like first day arrive even stay extensive. Manager friednly, helpful and understand. The staff are helful and friendly. It peaceful and quiet at night.

Service by personnel was very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is on the older side eventhough they have tried to update some of the decor and bathroom. However, insulation between walls and doors need to be updated much more. I stayed 1 night for business during November when it was cold. The room was not clean; cobwebs on the walls and ceiling, Shower controls were difficult to use. I was concerned that I would break them in trying to get the shower to work. Insulation around doors and window was terrible; had to use the heat all night.

Requested first floor accommodations at early booking. Fell down on metal stairs. Not Happy....

So, the rooms are dated, but the complex is quiet. The breakfast is good (and included in the rate). The place needs new curtains, new beds, new linens, and new furnishings. I had internet connectivity problems throughout my stay. The restaurant itself is weird, everything from the layout to the menu. The price is good compared to other hotels, but steep given the quality of the property. It should be 2.5 stars, at best. As a corporate administrative assistant it was extremely embarassing to set up a reservation for a new employee visiting from New York only to receive a request to change his reservation immediately. He says the breakfast provided was cooked good but cold! The bedding was old and outdated, as well as the designs of the room. Hotel needs some remodeling. Bathroom felt like an old run down apartment bathroom. The room SMELLED instantly when I first walked in like an "old smell". The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good.

The staff and location were fine. What made the stay less than expected was the noise from other rooms. Unfortunately, in one case until 2am in the morning!

This property is a little tired. I can see in it's heyday it must have been THE place to stay. The breakfast buffet is absolutely superior (real food, not something that came frozen out of a truck from some New Jersey factory) to the other well known competitors that include "breakfast".

I was told there was an airport shuttle and there was but it did not start running till 7am and I had a 7:15 flight and they would not take so I had to spend an additional $25. for a 6 am taxi.
