Stayed here one night while working in Tahoe. They upgraded us to King and the bed was pretty comfortable. Hotel had private beach access. Other than that, it was disappointing. Room felt dirty, didn't want to walk around without shoes because of the carpet, room was small. No frige, no microwave. Room is on busy street so it was quite loud. Parking […] was limited. Room only had bed, old tv and small table. Bathroom was decent size and pretty clean. Shower water pressure was awful. Overall, would spend $10 more to stay at Howard Johnson or other. Due to flight delays, we made previous arrangements so the front desk would be open later than usual so we could get our room. When you pay $50 per night you usually don't expect much. but I was so pleasantly surprised with the room quality. great breakfast and friendly staff. I stayed in Motels that cost twice as much and don't give this great comfort and experience. It will become my preferred motel in SLT next time we go.

We prefer the motels in the trees just off the Tahoe strip, and Rodeway is one of the best. Super clean, no problems. FYI the pool is not year-round as advertised.

cool place AM breakfast. get belgium waffles in the AM but one machine for everyone there. good place to stay if you want to board at heavenly. easy walk and they have a shuttle that goes around thats free. not the fanciest but it is reasonable

This is a basic hotel with few amenities. Our room was on the third floor and there was no elevators. Luckily, we didn't have much luggage to carry. I lived in a double bed room with two queen size beds. The room was small and the furnitures were definitely low quality. However for the price I paid it was fair. I loved both the location as well as their morning breakfast option and for this reason this place should get a good rating.

Over all, the hotel was great! Our Hotels.com rates were VERY affordable. 2 double room was really small but the beds were super comfortable! They were able to give us a mircrowave and fridge so that was a great treat. Location was wonderful - 5 min walk to the casinos. We had jerk neighbors that were loud but the hotel staff was able to quiet them […] down after we made two phone calls. The only one really bad thing is that the free breakfast should say "while supplies last" and not that it's served until a certain time. I went down with 15 mins still on the clock for breakfast and they were all out. I was really looking forward to some warm food. Wifi worked and was free.. The blond woman who checked us in was about the most curt and unhelpful person I think I have ever dealt with at a motel. This place is very cheap and well worth it . Its comfy and its cheap. Why wouldn't you stay here? Unless you are up-tight and need a valet, stay here. Its super convenient and there is a shuttle to the slopes.

Friends cautioned me about the stay saying that all of those places down there were basically roach motels. The property is very nice and the breakfast was as good as a casino.

The hotel is at a great location. Full breakfast. Rooms are smaller than i ecpected. Clean looking but not as clean as i like a room to be. Fine for an overnight stay.

it was in an average location off the main drag. Paint chips coming off the tiles in the shower. breakfast was ok. scrambled eggs and sausage mix and potatoes got me thru the first portion of the day at kirkwood. Also, the heater was loud and cover was broken

Will stay again with my family of five. Hotel put a crib microwave and refrigerator in the room before our arrival. This was very appreciated. Breakfast was great. Building exterior was great. Rooms a lil outdated. Carpet needed updating. Other then that stay was great.

Wifi was not great, property needs to pick up trash on ground outside. Great Free breakfast. There was no fridge or microwave in room but a common room kitchen on 2nd floor would be nice if you want to cook. Overall a great room for a great price. Plus only charged me a flat 15 bucks for my dog, instead of everynight.

The staff was very friendly. The room was small but clean. The bathroom needed a lot of work done to it but the shower worked good. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was because it offered free breakfast with stay but it was so crowded in the breakfast area that we couldn't move and all the tables were taken so we ended up leaving.

With our 5 year old, I always ask for extra sheets when we stay in a motel, just in case they don't change the sheets as often as they should. It took two calls to get the extra sheets. I have no complaints about this hotel. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable with a coffee machine. Breakfast was great including eggs, bagels, cereal, waffles etc. I would definitely recommend it.
