The good: They checked us in 30 minutes before the technical checkin time. The staff was nice. Easy to get to. The room seemed clean. There are luggage carts available. The bad: They had the water shut off and didn't mention it at checkin. All the curtains had holes in them. Lots of holes. While I understand breakfast was free, it wasn't great and […] is set up poorly. The tiny fridge did keep things cold, but it was hard to get the door to close. Shortly after checkin a housekeeper charged into my room for no apparent reason. I should have had the sliding lock on, but I'd just gotten there and was settling my kids in. Very nice hotel for reasonable price close to Shasta. Good quality room, pleasant & friendly staff, great breakfast variety of hot & cold foods. We would have liked to use the spa & watch the clouds clearing over the mountain but the jets weren't working. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and tried for quite a while to fix it herself, searching […] all the breaker switches but couldn't get it going.... that was a bit disappointing as we were looking forward to it and checked in early for a relaxing evening, but the rest of the stay was great. "Great for the price."
I'm not sure why people give this hotel a negative rating for being run down. We have stayed here several times because our grandson lives in the area. I have always found the premises in good repair and very clean. I did see where the carpet had a seam on the second floor that was visible and paint wear on the front door handles, but everything else […] was good. The breakfast was no worse than most other places with a "free" breakfast. Even though it is adjacent to the freeway, the room was quiet, even in the room facing the freeway. Close to freeway, gas station. Comfortable and clean room. I don't know if it is overall or just my room, I stayed in second floor, the water flow of shower is so low, and felt like rinse. I would rate this hotel 3 star but the area does bring a higher per night hotel cost. We were very happy with the room and location at this hotel. It's just a 10 min drive to Mt. It was a nice stay. The room was spacious (almost like a little apartment) nice carpet. Breakfast was O K, The hotel is in the middle to any destination in the Shasta area. Didn't get maid service in my bathroom one day? Hotel in general was clean but they didn't have extra pillows and the cot for my friend was terribly uncomfortable. This is by far the best hotel chain I have ever stayed at. We stayed here and then decided to book another Comfort Inn while in Klamath Falls and it was just as comfortable and nice. The hotel was very clean,we stayed in room 217,the window track was worn badly that was the reason why the window was not shut tightly and could not be locked.I had physically lift the window of the worn tracked and close it before i could engage the locking lever. "Spacious Room at a fair price"
Room was very spacious for what you are paying, it had two desk with its own chair and standing lamp. Pillows were like as if they were cut in half, plenty of them but really small. Breakfast was ok, the only problem is that the manager was short handed, attending the food station while also taking care of the front desk, for what I don't blame her […] since I don't know if it always like this. "Great little hotel at Weed"
Very good hotel in South Weed. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast had many choices. The location was beside a truck terminal but had plenty of fast food options within walking distance. I stayed here for 5 nights with my Labradoodle, Macy. This is listed as a pet friendly hotel and they do allow pets but there is no where for them to do their business outside except for a trash pit of a lot next to the hotel which is not maintained and full of tall foxtail grass and garbage. If you have a pet with fur/hair I wouln't suggest staying […] hear unless you want to spend your time picking foxtails off your pet. There was an ELECTRICAL POP behind the desk. It looked as tho the maid had pushed it against the LAMP PLUG & altho "I" chose not to be moved, you might want to keep an eye out for that in the future. "Convenient to I5 and clean basic comfort"
Our room was a bit cramped, but provided all of the important amenities, such as free wifi, a very comfortable bed and a decent bathroom. (small fridge and microwave a plus). It was convenient to I5 for a driving break..not a destination for "hanging out", but perfectly fine for our purposes. We needed a stop between the Bay Area and central Oregon […] and this fit the bill well.
