"OK for one night"
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The rooms were large and nicely furnished however the walls were not the least bit sound proof. We could hear the entire conversations in the next room and the TV. In the halls you could hear all the way to the elevator everything said in each room. Luckily by the time we returned […] to the hotel after dinner the next door room had gone out so we didn't hear them again until morning. "Excellent value for the price"
I spend roughly half the year in hotels for work, mostly Hilton chain stuff (Hampton Inns,etc.) I assumed this would be of similar quality to a Super 8 I had recently stayed in at a similar price. Dead wrong. Rooms very clean, bedding modern and comfortable, bathroom clean. TV's are older, but work just fine. Hallways are dimly lit and showing signs […] of wear, but clean. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Free breakfast is nothing to be excited about, but is better than nothing. I was very disappointed in my stay. The toilet clogged and the man at the front desk handed me a plunger!! There were no toiletries in the room (soap but no shampoo). The beds were billed as being extremely comfortable and they were the worst I have slept on in a hotel in a VERY long time. The hotel is clean, the staff were very nice and it is right off the highway. The rooms are basic, but had a roomy,bright bathroom; an iron and board, and a small refrigerator and microwave. The only thing that was not quite perfect about the hotel room was that multiple portions of the wallpaper were peeling and the lighting was a little bit dim. Considering this was only $15 more expensive than a Motel 6, I wasn't expecting much-- but I got free wifi, continental breakfast, as well as a mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was even comfy! Other than the obvious hooker letting her client in a side door, our stay was as expected. The beds were a bit small. I'm 5'8 and slept diagnol so my feet didn't hang over the edge.
