The room was plain and average. There was a roll in shower; stool to sit. The handheld showerhead waterspray was wonderful, but it was in the highest, stationary position. I was alone when trying to shower. I could not reach it. I have a very hard time standing but was able to use the hose to push up. With great difficulty, got it released, just as […] I considered calling for help from the front desk. I discovered the lower bracket on the adjustable pole did not match the showerhead and was totally unusable. The hose was too short to hold well on lap, dropping often, spraying the floor outside the shower curtain. There was nowhere in the shower to set anything, soap, shampoo etc. The vanity had open space to roll a chair, but the sink was too far back to sit and spit while brushing teeth. The only hook in the bathroom was about 8 inches from the top of the door. No Kleenex. There was one electrical outlet about 8 feet from the bed. A floor lamp took one of two plug-ins. There were several outlets closer but they very hard to reach behind the middle bedside table which had to be pulled out, and reached over touse them. I have a C-pap machine, a cell phone to charge, and computer with short battery life. It took almost 4 minutes to get one plug plugged in because of angle and table blocking access and my weak hands. The switches for the lamps were the tiny round turning kind,; luckily, I had a pliers with me or I would have had to have the desk clerk come to turn on the light Ďalšie informácie

Convenient to roadway system and restaurants. This is an old hotel that offers a room at a reasonable price. No microwave or refrigerator. Large indoor hot tub. Average workout room. Nice spacious breakfast area.

Very close to Mayo and right across from the Mall. Easy to get to and the pool area is great for kids.

Staff were friendly and courteous. Room clean and comfortable. Location easy to find,close to shopping,bank,grocery, bookstore and restaurants. Shuttle to Mayo Clinic was a definite plus.

I usually stay at the Ramada when I come to the Mayo Clinic and have always liked it. However, the last time I stayed the down comforter had some blood on it. Gross! Also, the chair had a large yucky looking stain. This worried me about what else was lurking in the room.

First of all, don't let them put you on the 3rd floor - no ice machine - not updated, no refrigerator or microwave in rooms up there. Very hot in hallways. Also, the last night we were there our air conditioning went off in our room. They wanted to give us a fan or move to another room. This was around midnight - we chose to move to another room, which […] by the way was very nice, poolside, updated rooms. Overall this was not a very good experience having to move all our belongings in the middle of the night. As far as the free breakfast, the only really good item there were the waffles and they had one waffle maker for everyone. The other waffle maker was out of order for the entire 4 days we were there. The room was clean but felt a little cold and clammy. Turning up the temperature from 65 degrees resolved the issue.The grandkids LOVED the pool area, but it was quite warm in the pool Atrium and there was a strong chlorine smell. The desk clerk, Lloyd, was great,. He not only contacted the neighbors about the problem, but followed up on it shortly afterwards. He finally moved them to another room in the hotel. The hotel is convenient to Mayo clinic facilities downtown and in very reasonably priced, however the hotel has gone downhill since we stayed there last year. The hotel needs to be cleaned up and remodeled, from the pool area to all of the rooms.

On the night that we stayed there was bad weather and the power went out in that part of the city. The hotel staff handled it very well and was impressed. Overall very impressed.

Hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. Room was dark, dingy, the wallpaper was peeling off, the carpet was worn, the shower had mold in the corner grout. There was not a single towel bar in the room, so wet towels had to be hung on doorknobs and hangers. The trash cans in the hallways are outdoor trash cans that are being used indoors. No internet […] available in the room, not even for a fee. The room had zero personality - nothing hanging on the walls, barely any furniture, it was very drab. The whole hotel stinks of chlorine and feels damp due to the indoor pool, which is in a lobby-like area that is open to the rest of the hotel. I would stay again-great location-great breakfast and kids enjoyed the pool. Rooms were clean and service was very good. Near mall and coffee shop!!! Two essentials!!! Overall: excellent!

The Ramada is good value—nothing fancy, but nice enough, clean, comfortable. The bar connected to the hotel, Wildfire (I think) had a great beer selection and surprisingly good food. Nice place run by very nice folks.

Your hotel is getting run down. It's evident in the quality of the furnishings and upkeep of the infrastructure. I would have expected better from the name RAMADA. Nice people work there; too bad more capital isn't put into it.

Many hotels offer amenities like a gym and pool, but when you get there the equipment is in poor condition or off limits due to some malfunction. The pool was incredible! We had no idea it was indoors with fountains, slides, and basketball nets! The gym had current equipment: five working machines and two big screen tvs! For the price I wasn't expecting the Taj Mahal, but even at it's discounted rates this was a disappointment. The floors where filthy, rooms are in serious need of some sort of update other then the TV's, walls are super thin. We woke up to find the floor next to the bathroom wall soaking wet, including some of our luggage. Got a half hearted apology […] from the front desk, me personally, would have at least given me some sort of additional discount. The pool area is better then your average run of the mill hotel pool as was the breakfast, clearly where they put their money. We did also get to witness the water slide attendant disappear into a vacant poolside room with a young lady, where they drew the shades and reemerged about ten minutes later looking frazzled and nervous, though I suppose for the young lady disappointment in the short duration may have also been there. The poolside rooms looked to be in better condition, and they don't have adjoining doors, so perhaps the walls are better there, but we where told they where sold out for our two day duration, even though there was clearly many vacant ones when we where there. We recently stayed 3 nites @ Ramada (March 18-20) for a Mayo visit for my husband. The morning of the 21st when we were preparing to make our return trip to central Kansas, we woke to FECUS water coming out of our bathroom faucet, tolite, and shower. We complained to the front desk & were told there had been a problem with the pipes. Aparently, the […] room next door had plugged up the tolite. We were told to run the water & it would soon run clean. Not so, we could not use any water, we could not shower, we brushed our teeth and washed our faces with bottled water. We truely feel that we deserve at least a parcial refund on our last nite stay!! We had stayed there in the past 6 months for my husband's surgery, 5 weeks, and had no problems. We had 2 rooms. Both rooms were very poorly maintained...6x6 piece carpet cut out and spliced back together, wallpaper ripped and they tried to splice it back together, bathroom ceiling had been mudded but never finished, bathroom door would not latch shut and did not even have a lock on it, AC broke and room was VERY warm, one of our chairs was missing […] and the chair that was there had white stains all over it. Every time we go to Mayo, we stay at this hotel because it is clean, comfortable, and convenient. Sadly, the restaurant was open this time, but they still provided us with a wonderful complementary breakfast everyday. The pool was way too cold and this was our main reason for chosing this hotel was for the kids to play in the pool. The temperature was brought to hotel staff the day of check in and it was still very, very cold the next day before check out. I was disappointed to find that the complimentary shuttle service was only for an established route (to Gonda building and St Marys) and did not include any personal trips to the theatre or restaurants, etc. We had to use cab services. The airport shuttle on the other hand was listed as having a surcharge but was complimentary as well. Unfortunately, […] our flight out was at 6:30 am so we needed to leave by 5:15am and their shuttle service doesn't operate that early. The breakfast was good, and is offered from 6-10am but we had to get there before 9am or there wouldn't be any sausage or plates. the room was very comfortable and the location close to everything in Rochester. My only concern would be the noise level from adjoining rooms and room above, this wasn't a very quiet motel.

We stayed in the Ramada because my son had to have surgery the next morning at St. Marys Hopital. The hotel was very clean and my son had fun at the water park. Will stay again and would highly recommend to others.

Great staff. Complimentary breakfast hits the spot. Room was clean and comfortable. A very good value. Take the free shuttle to and from the clinic as traffic around the clinic and in the clinic parking lots can get very congested. Within walking distance of the Apache Mall (department stores, shops, and restaurants) and Trader Joe's.

For that cost I would have expected better. The lobby and restaurant were in very good condtition, but the room was dated. Our AC in the room did not work. This was a problem for 2 other family members in other rooms as well. The outlets did not power small appliances such as curling and flat irons. The furniture and TV were dated. Nice wading pool for granddaughter. Large water slide wasn't working (or turned on) at the time. Proximity to clinic and shopping was excellent. The restaurant was not too fancy byt the food was great.
