Hotel is very nice - great value for money, well maintained. Breakfast was continental - we had a 10-night stay and opted to eat elsewhere most mornings because of lack of variety.

I have been pleased with the Larkspur properties and this one is no exception. Feels expensive. Bed is fantastic. Breakfasts are basic: nothing hot other than what can come from a toaster. I would say in the top of the 3 star category.

This place is just a great and cozy hotel, with free wifi, free simple but nice breakfast and free parking; definitely one of the better places to stay in Silicon Valley. Highly recommend.

Hotel very beautiful. Rooms very well kept and equipped with amenities. Bed was uncomfortable and the blankets were heavy and confining. Picked Lakespur for it's proximity to Shoreline Ampitheater. Didn't take into consideration the show and city traffic would take us 1 hour and 40 minutes to drive 5 miles. So factor that in if you are staying there […] for a concert at the Ampitheater. "Convenient to Stanford"
Our stay at Larkspur Landing Sunnyvale exceeded our expectations! The room was spacious, the full kitchen was an added bonus, the bathroom was generous! The hotel location has convenient access to the freeway as we were on the Stanford campus for three days and it always seemed like we were going the opposite direction of the traffic. We will stay here […] again and look for Larkspur Landing locations in our future travels. The front desk personnel were so cooperative and helpful, looking up the Mac Store for me and providing directions, pointing us to the nearest Starbucks, and locating an extra newspaper for us to read! Great hotel and location. Room was very comfortable, spacious, loved the kitchen, amenities, very quiet and a great breakfast. Only a few miles from the Shoreline ampitheatre so we would definitely stay there again.

I have NEVER been called nor approached during check out quite like I was here. We were just collecting our bags and literally had our hand on the doorknob at 11:58 a.m. as check out is at 12 noon when the phone rang. It had rung once before at 11:20. I answered it and no one was there. This time, however, the front desk asked if we were checking out […] and I told them we were just leaving. Overall the hotel was great for what we paid. I do suggest that you make sure when you book your room type you are sure of the type of accomodations you are going to need. They are unable to change your room type once you arrive, unless you call hotels.com. Also, the hot tub temperature was not so hot...infact it was cold....more like a 3x5 swimming […] pool. The hotel was everything that I expected it to be, but for some minor (or major, depending on the individual) problems in the room. (a) I found a strand of hair on the bed. (b) Of the 5-6 lamps in the room, 2 of them did not work (turn on). Except for that, it was pretty good. WE ARRIVED FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY NIGHT WE PLANNED ON WATCHING A MOVIE WHEN WE TURN THE DVD PLAYER ON AND IT DIDN'T WORK SO WE CALL GUEST SERVICES AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANYONE IN MAINTENANCE AVAILABLE, SO WE ENDED UP HAVING TO WATCH THE MOVIE ON OUR LAPTOP....BUMMER...
