AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN - Colorado Springs

My wife and I recently stayed at Americas Best on Garden of the Gods Rd in Colorado Springs. The room was very nice and clean. The desk help was very friendly and helpful with questions.

The problem with the Hotel was. 1. When we got in the room there wasn't a remote in the room. 2.No trash can in room. 3.The hair dryer asn't working. 4.Not enough towels and wash clothes. 5. No shower chairs for handicap room.

When checking into this hotel the young lady was more interested in dreaming about military personal than assisting us with our check in. Once I got her attention she than started addressing us in a very unprofessional manor. We checked in at 9 am and were instructed we could come back a 1pm to access the room. I returned at 3:30 and my room was still […] not clean or ready for me. I had to wait in the lobby 25 minutes while the room was being cleaned. This hotel seemed ok when I booked it. We checked in and went to our room.. Supposed to be a non smoking room. We got off the elevator and the whole hall stunk like smoke. Then when we got in our room it stunk horrible too. My husband and I smoke and we couldn't stand it and wouldn't let our kids sleep in that room. The sheets were stained and dirty. […] We got our room switched to a different floor for the first night but then canceled the next 2 nights. The girl at the front desk was very snotty when we chose to change rooms and still wanted to cancel. The pool was dirty as well, wouldn't let the kids swim in it. We did find one that was around the same price and was a lot cleaner down the street. The Days Inn on the other side of the interstate. We would recommend that hotel over this one! Ďalšie informácie

This place was way below my expectations, even for the price. There was a hassel with my credit card, the staff was unprofessional, the place was dirty, and my toilet was not functional.

Nothing fancy- but clean with friendly staff- was a great location for us (right off highway).

This hotel is definately America's best value! The room was just as nice as any hotel that we have paid 2-3 times more for. The rooms were big, comfy and very clean. The continental breakfast was delicious as well. Enjoyable stay. Very nice and will look for America's Best Value Inns wherever we travel too again!!

Hotel was great we had 4 adults and 2 kids do the family suite was the perfect fit, such others dont offer or just haven't found. Good size room. Guest services although at check in were very rude and very unprofessional. They didn't have a very good attitude towards me or hotels.com reservation process. This hotel was ok. It is a budget hotel, and you get what you pay for, but our overall experience was good. There was a broken dresser drawer, the pool was very tiny, and the continental breakfast was very disappointing, but the hotel was clean, so no real concerns about the stay.

The room was not very clean. There were sticky spill marks on the dressers and walls and the area around the toilet had not been cleaned well. It was a non-smoking room that smelled strongly of smoke. After we checked out my account was charged twice and the hotel staff would not help to correct the mistake.
