A packed business trip so the hotel was primarily a place to sleep. Hotel was clean and appeared well maintained and safe. I had to walk about a block to obtain a bottle of soda as the hotel informed me that soda machines had been removed from the facility. All staff were courteous and knowledgeable.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was recently renovated and immaculately maintained. Free Wi-FI and bottled water were a very nice touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. I plan to stay in this hotel again when I visit DC on business again.

I chose the Washington Plaza because it was reasonably priced, in a safe neighborhood and close to all of the sights. I was set on walking everywhere while in DC so I didn't want to be too far away. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. I was able to check in early which was great. The room itself was small, but nice. […] My only complaint was there was no metal latch on the door (like there usually are in hotels) which made me a little uncomfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find a refrigerator in the room. There were outlets for my computer on the desk and free wifi, very clean bathroom, flat-screen TV on the wall, a good bed, and the carpet felt clean even with my bare feet. The place seemed recently renovated and everything was quite nice. My rooms wasn't what I'd call fancy but it felt quite contemporary.

We were there to attend the Cherry Blossom Festival and that was A-1!! The hotel was tops, however we had nothing but a good experience with the attendant staff .... particularly in the restaurant and bar. We'll be back another time.

I stayed at the hotel with my son for three nights. The room was nice and clean. We die the Buffet for breakfast which was a good choice of fruit, croissants, cereal etc. In the evening, we had some restaurants in short walking distance. All in all, a very friendly and convenient hotel.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. turndown service at night was unexpected surprise...nice to have trash emptied,etc. We walked everywhere from hotel. neighborhood nice but do have to pass"bum park" though never had issue with the homeless there.
