This hotel is better than your average travel lodge , top amenities full breakfast , exercise room , 2 free computers to use, Location is next to the space need and by stores , walking distance to center of downtown . Decent hotel and great location

Perfectly fine, friendly, clean, comfortable place to stay. Excellent bed and pillows. Super convenient in-town location close to everything. Can't speak to the breakfast, it was being put away five minutes before the scheduled time, couldn't even grab a small bit.

FIrst of all I dont usually write reviews let alone bad ones. But wow this was bad. We were staying there because my handicapped son was having a big surgury at shriners the next morning. We asked if we could get a room that was maybe in a quieter location of the hotel, because my son can be easily agitated and to reduce his noises for the other guests. […] Well it became obvious very quickly that we were in one of the worst rooms there. First off I had my wheelchair bound son and all of the luggage and things he would need. The door to the lobby was in a spot that made it difficult to go into with him and his stuff, I was obviusly struggling and all the front desk clerk did was look at me without even offering to help. The room had a huge bright sign for the bar underneith us litrealy in our window all night. On top of the fact that we could hear lots of traffic and police cars speeding by all night long. To top it all off, the bar played very loud music till late. We are usualy pretty forgivng without complaning too much, but seriously this was by far the worst hotel we ever stayed at. I not only wont ever even consider staying ther but I will be telling everyone I know about our horrible experience. Ďalšie informácie

A little bit further from Downtown than I would have liked, but the Max stop is close by and everything is easy to get to. Suki's pub below does good food and great beer.

Well you get what you pay for. Handy location, ample parking & limited continental breakfast in lobby. We got the room over the downstairs bar and the street noise starts very early. Ask for a room up the back is you are a light sleeper.

it was ok, but I had planned to stay there in the evening (no car) and had tp et at what had been described to me as a restaurant; in fact some sort of pub under any expectation for a hotel restaurant. At least breakfast was quiet, at the reception, standing...

This was our second stay in 2 weeks. The first stay was quiet, restful, and quite a bargain so returned. It was awful. Our neighbor was so loud and smoked so much all night it was like sleeping in a tavern, before smoking was banned in taverns of course. My child and I got very little sleep before her surgery the next day. I don't know if room assignments […] are random, but if not placing a woman and child next to someone with questionable habits is irresponsible. We also were given a room with a door to the outside (not indoors like last time), AND we got to have a door to the room with the man of questionable habits next door. The outside door had a cracked lock and cracked door framing around the locks. The deadbolt had to be maneuvered into position it didn't lock smoothly. A very unsettling, frightening trip. I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman who checked me in--he was on the overnight shift during my 03/19-03/20 2013 stay. He was courteous, pleasant, helpful, and very nice without being so saccharine that an old cynic like me couldn't deal with him. The room was cleaner than any Travelodge I've ever seen in my many years on this planet, and OUTLETS. […] I've spent 4x the nightly rate at hotels that didn't have enough outlets to power everything already in the room, much less chargers, laptops, iPod players, etc. The only suggestion I would make: bring your own lamp if you read at night. Old motel, our room looked like it had been repaired by someone's cousin Elmer, on his lunch break, 30 years ago. That being said...I will tell you that the room is clean and comfortable, and they have a fresh light breakfast in the lobby. It's super close to PSU campus and tons of eclectic dining opportunities. Half of the hotel is motel style with the entry from the outside. If you stay in the main building there is no elevator which when hands are full and dragging a 50 pound suitcase, is a nightmare. Rooms are in dire need of updating but the housekeepers at least do the best they can with how old everything in the room was. Old TV buzzed loudly, toilet […] "gurgles" about 10 minuets after you flush it for about 5 min, and every time someone in the other rooms shut thier doors, everything in the room shakes. The bar below is a huge plus if you just want to grab a drink or food. The staff is very friendly, especially the late night front desk clerk, Tony. You cant beat the price. Great location with free parking and perfect for us who stayed there for a night attending an event at the Keller Auditorium from out of town. Good value. No hot water for shower but hot water from the sink. When I booked the hotel I was very concerned due to price and name brand of the hotel. The location of the hotel to downtown was great. The location wasn't bad.. close enough to everything. Can't walk anywhere though.. the rooms were pretty clean (and smelled clean!) But the service wasn't great. The guy was kind of a jerk.. had a microwave and fridge. Bathrooms were fine. Alright overall..

I've read lots of reviews and it seems like I've been staying in different hotel. I give 5 stars. Don't be confused, this is not 5 stars hotel, but it totally worth the money. I'm a student, I've been to a lot of hotels, and this one so far is one of the best for couples/students/short term stay. Close to downtown, breakfast, coffeemaker, AC/heater […] in the room are very advantageous. The room was on the second floor and had a balcony, were one can smoke or just have a pleasant time, Totally recommend if you're planning to visit Portland for conference/business/pleasure. The service overall was ok, and the hotel location is very convenient, within walking distance of downtown Portland. Our room was very cold and noisy - we could hear cars passing all night long. It wasn't very clean either, especially because of the cigarette smell.

We stayed to be close to the hospital. The beds were comfortable, quick access to other astablishments, Carpet needs to be cleaned. A little noisey (we were on the street side) There is a nice bar/grill under the hotel with lots of tv's for the sports fans. Overall it was nice for the price.

Hotel is above a bar so people were talking outside below our room keeping us awake. Also had some people in the hotel partying until 4am and the management wouldn't put a stop to it.

It's your average budget hotel. It's ok for a weekend stay and you are looking for a bed to sleep. Carpet very old, but rest od the room very clean. Great location very close to the MAX green/yellow line. Recommend to young couples and students, but not for families.

Good place to stay for the price. Manager was amazingly helpful. 15 minute walk to the heart of the city and extremely close to public transportation. Had a lot of fun staying here and would love to stay here again.

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel for our recent trip to Portland so I booked the surprise deal offered by Expedia. I will say I was hoping for something better with the unnamed hotel option. But, we got this hotel and wasn't able to cancel due to the deal. If you're looking for a budget hotel this one delivers. The room seemed clean enough, […] however the carpet is over due for a cleaning. Our toilet seat must have been an old one because the seat was rubbed down to the wood on much of the surface. The floor in the bath was clean but in need of replacing. The flooring should really just be replaced in the whole room. Lots of freeway noise, the air-conditioning unit blows the curtains all around. Parking was fine, and the breakfast offered was actually pretty good. The restaurant when walking in however took me a back, it looked like it needed renovating as well. Overall we definitely got what we paid for, a budget hotel in some major need of updating. This is a serviceable old property, in decent condition, very clean rooms, FREE PARKING! Great roomrate! Half of other hotels in Downtown. Bus stop across the street, trains a few blocks away, feels safe walking to them. Inconvenient to get to by car unless you know your way around the one way streets of Portland, but once there, the free parking and […] accessible public transport makes up for any hassle with the location. While there is a bar (Suki's) in the same building, we did not hear any noise from it, and our room was in the same building with it, not in the second unattached building also part of the hotel. paid for a non smoking room and confirmed on arrival. But had to leave bathroom door close cause it smelt like an ash tray. Manager made excuses about just being a neighbor but smell was constant. Building was in disrepair too. missing trim and such.

I won't stay there again. The carpet was dirty in the room and the lobby. It was late or we would have found another.

Dirty. That is the best way to describe this hotel. The front desk seemed much more concerned with whatever was on the TV than the guests staying. The room was dirty. Microwave door was melted in spots by a lighter, electrical covers weren't in place just overall dirty feeling in the hotel. Only plus was the location but not worth the money spent.

For the price of the hotel, it needs tobe updated, very old room with musty smell, needs new paint, chair at the small table cushion all cut up. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, It doesn't look like what you see on the internet. I rate your hotel as - VERY POOR!!! My comments don't have to be posted, its for your iew only.
