"wonderful time in Charleston"
We had a wonderful time in Charleston and loved the Hampton Inn. king suite was very nice,clean and lots of room with refrig, sink and microwave and could have suited a family easily with a pull out couch. Rooms were very quiet and we slept well on the 3rd floor. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful with everything you can imagine and coffee was […] cafe delicious. The location was perfect located close to the wedding and just a short ride into Charleston historic district or the beach. There is also a variety of restaurants stores and clubs along the blvd. "Great place to stay to see the Low-Country"
We found this hotel to be above average in terms of service, cleanliness, comfort, and the people were very accommodating. Staying in West Ashley was the perfect location for us to explore not only Charleston but the surrounding areas. We will be back again next fall and will stay here again.

Very pleasant stay. The hassell here is parking. parking friday and saturday night was impossible. We had to park on the curb side away from any access door andto make matters even worse was the pouring rain. There were spaces used up by large trucks and vehicles with boats.

was very nice, the bathroom could use some updating but was still very clean. all very friendly and clean. not far from historic district of Charleston

"Not up to Hampton standards"
This hotel is not what I expect when I stay at a Hampton Suites. Rooms were very outdated, furniture was ragged and looked dirty. Bathroom looked like it had mold on the caulk around the tub. I hope this location is due for a major upgrade soon or I wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel appears nice and has a great looking common area but the room itself had a musty, moldy odor. Just not a pleasant experience overall.

"Great location for a getaway"
The location of this hotel was perfect for us. We were within a short driving distance to two fabulous beaches (both recommended by hotel staff), shopping, and restaurants. It wasn't too busy...staff was extremely helpful and courteous...breakfast was delicous! Our only complaint was the the pool was completely unusable. It was closed as the water was […] brown! Since that was a selling point in us stepping up to this hotel, we were very disappointed. "Nice enough stay for 2 nights"
Room and hotel was fine, but I did find the breakfast a little lacking. It would have been nice to have some more warm item options. You could have a small omelet or the usual fare of muffins, and pastries. A little bacon or sausage would have been nice. Also, the orange juiced tasted like it was watered down. Overall a positive experience.

Good night sleep. One concerned we experienced was in the parking lot. We were approached by a man asking for help as he was just out of the hospital from being robbed. His family was somewhere else and he needed help to take care of them. We reported to the front desk. A clerk quickly went out to check on the situration. "Charleston/West Ashley hotel -close to airport"
This hotel had a wonderful staff, clean rooms with great beds and the breakfast was wonderful. It is located near the airport but is very quiet. They go the extra mile and pick a guest of the day that entitles that room to some extra special care. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Very nice hotel but where's the turn?"
I had printed out directions and turned past the Toyota dealer but there was NO SIGN to turn into the Hampton Inn, which was back three businesses from the street that was posted as the address. Once inside, I was very pleased with the front desk, rooms, etc. The Sunday morning church service can be heard in the breakfast room.

The hotel staff was very friendly. They called to make sure we liked our room, they kept bring out new food at breakfast. It was simply very nice. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was delicious!

Der Aufenthalt war angenehm. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Fruehstueck fuer US Verhaeltnisse gut und abwechslungsreich. Die Anlage sauber und gut gemanagt.
