Had a family emergency, last minute reservation. Great quiet space to unwind after hours at the hospital. Very comfortable beds, quiet room. Free internet & no charge for parking this time.

Disappointed no breakfast included.

I stayed for 1 night with my husband and 2 children we had business in the area early the next morning. Check-in was a breeze, the paperwork was already done and waiting for us. We were on the 9th floor, the room was quiet, well appointed, clean and comfortable. 2 doubles are a little small for us but is not a reflection of the quality of our hotel […] stay. We enjoyed the pool facilities, was very clean and well maintained, plenty of towels. We also received a courtesy call from the front desk making sure we had everything we needed and were happy with the room. Breakfast buffet the next morning was good (as good as these can be) with usual fare, scrambled eggs and meat were a little cold, more fruit variety would have been nice. The restaurant itself was nice. Check out was very quick and no problem. Any employee I encountered was friendly and eager to please. If i return to the area would stay here again. Ďalšie informácie

I wanted a nice evening with my girlfriend... We we're supposed to ski but she hurt her back the week prior. I thought it would be nice to utilize the indoor pool and hot tub. Upon entering the pool we found 2 toddlers and an infant (with diaper) in the hot tub. The moronic parents lifted their child out of the hot tub only to discover the child defecated […] in his diaper. we were never able to use the hot tub. Also had trouble sleeping. I believe I received a contact high form the constant smell of marijuana in hallway. Do not stay here!!! you're better off sleeping in your car. Ďalšie informácie

Stayed 2 nights with my daughter. Didn't spend much time in the room because we were at the Cranwell, shopping, etc. but the room was very nice, very comfortable, and aside from being a bit dated, was exactly what we needed. I was prepared to pay the $6 per night for parking (not that I liked it!), but as I had a handicapped permit and used the handicapped […] spot, they waived the fee. Nice! I did have to ask, though -- and no, I was not informed of the charge in advance. So, the ludicrous parking fee was by far the worst thing about the stay. Very clean. Friendly staff. Food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast staff were excellent! Parking garage a little awkward.

This is actually my second time at the Crowne Plaza, and it is the only place my wife will stay in the Berkshires. She has a high standard and the Crowne Plaza meets them. Very clean, easy to get to, and a good value.

I booked through hotel.com requesting a king, N/S. I entered a handicap accessible dbl with a shower head that would not budge above my navel. Switched to a room next to the ONLY vending/ice machine in the hotel. Hotel was apparently booked for meetings. The last time I heard the elevator ding and a deluge of ice enter an empty bucket I believe was […] around 2am. Shower curtain needed to be bleached as well as the shower head. Location is excellent. This is my hometown and this is probably the best hotel in town. I have stayed here several times in the past 20 years. The hotel IS much improved. I just think I got shuffled around as a single woman. And what's with the $6 parking? Other people parked there and never entered the hotel. There was no gate on the garage entrance. Convenient location for attending a performance at the historic Colonial Theatre. Also attended a banquet at the hotel. The food was excellent.

We asked for a king size bed and got a queen; The room was too warm and there was no way to make it cooler. Other than that it was OK.

We were in the area for a soccer tournament. Lots of conviences right at the hotel or within walking distance, including a pool and restaurants, made it a great spot for us.

The Parking was close but strangely situated. The room was clean and bed comfortable but could use some updating. i.e. leaking faucets. WiFi a problem but was corrected with a phone call. I would stay there again.

Hotel was perfect for my one night stay in Pittsfield. Very nice downtown located in the heart of the beautiful Berkshires. Staff friendly and attentive.

The rooms on the 9th floor seem to have been refurbished in the last 5 years or so, so they were better than I expected from older reviews. The beds were remarkably comfortable and the room well furnished, but the pillows were very lumpy and the waffle blanket so bumpy I removed it and stuffed it into the closet for my stay. The hotel should not charge a seperate $6 per night for a crumbling garage in disrepair; fix it up and build the parking fee into the room rate. This hotel is overpriced for the services that are offered. Look for other hotels that have updated their services and facility.

It was okay, not worth the price but an okay distance from tanglewood.

Had a great experience with booking reservation and price quotes. Originally saw price online, but called to book because we had specific needs. Room charge was less than quoted...when does that happen! Hotel had told us about parking fee of $6 that would be added to our room charges, but this fee was never added on to our bill, so I am very happy!

I travel for a living. I order room service, yet it was not delivered.

Very nice,clean hotel. Parking was horrible,very hard to find a convenient parking spot in the parking garage and not good security in the garage. You must pay an additional $6 for parking upon checkout which was not mentioned prior. After 9pm there is only one pub that serves dinner,,other than that everyplave is closed. Restaraunt in the hotel is […] not at all kid friendly. The pool is very small. One of the children wet the bed in the middle.of night fast room service however, they did not change the urine soaked mattress cover and they did not use rubber gloves when handling the urine soaked sheet. Upsides: Very good location for skiing in the Berkshires region, in the middle of Pittsfield so lots of restaurants around. Decent but no better than average hotel. Does have a pool (but see below). Does have a restaurant, with a good (but not free) buffet breakfast. Has parking (but you have to pay). Downsides: Parking is $6.00 a day, which to me […] amounts to nothing more than a hidden room tax. The pool area was freezing (no, I'm not talking about the water. The whole pool room wasn't heated!), making it very difficult to swim. The beds were not comfortable, and the dead bolt on our room door was broken. Each night they gave us 3 towels, even though we were 4 people. Overall fits the bill if you want a relatively inexpensive place to stay in the area, that's more than a cheap motel. While the hotel rates are affordable, the hotel facility and amenities leave much to be desired. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't offer complimentary coffee in the lobby in the AM. This place adds $2.63/cup of coffee to your hotel bill, and the coffee was mediocre. The gym is poorly maintained -- you could not use any of the weight-lifting equipment […] since they did not have a single way to set the weights on any of the equipment. The restaurant available in the hotel is OK, and the staff are very friendly. But when we tried to eat elsewhere, the two places the hotel staff recommended were really awful. I was spending Christmas with family in the Berkshires and needed to be close to the family home. The Crowne Plaza is in a good, central location. It had easy access in and out and a nice parking garage to keep snow off the car. I thought I was all set, until I saw the room. Traditionally I perceive the Crowne Plaza brand as somewhat upscale, nicer […] than many but not a boutique either. Walking off the elevator I found the hallways to be dark, poorly lit. Then we found our mini suite and the first thing that I noticed was the shabbiness of the furniture. It was old, worn and dated looking inside the room. The bathroom was barely large enough for one person to stand in and turn around. Window treatments were shabby and needed pins to help keep them closed. The bed was reasonable in it's comfort but the sheets felt scratchy. I was appalled. I won't go back. I just stayed at a Renaissance Hotel in D.C. that was gorgeous. The Hampton Inn in nearby Lenox where I usually stay is nicer. I thought a Crowne Plaza was going to be at least as nice as that, and it really isn't. It's a shame, I like the location, but hate the hotel. I will say, pre paying through Hotel.com was a deal, at least I didn't overpay to stay there. Ďalšie informácie

I don't understand why the hotel charges a daily rate for guests to park when the gates are continually open. People who are doing business in other parts of the building are not paying. It's like you are being penalized for being a guest.

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable with full compliment of facilities. The domed pool is quite nice, but is deep for little children (5-8'). Also there is a fee for parking but Internet is now free. Very pleased overall.

We are overall pleased with the hotel. Comfortable and convenient. The complimentary breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. The only thing happened out of norm is the morning after we arrive, the fire alarm went off at 8am and everyone was ordered to evacuate which we with our small child had to walk down 7 stories in a scary hurry. We could not access an outside line to make a phone call, the internet didn't work. Very noisy. Had to pay per day to park come on, this is Pittsfield not NYC. We stay here every time we visit but I think for the room rate we can do just as well in another area.

The hotel was clean, workers were courtious. bed was comfortable I took my dog with no problems.

The room is not as impressive as I thought it would be since I book an EXECUTIVE suite. However, the service is fantastic. Hotels.com mentions executive suites include breakfast, but it doesn't unless you specifically ask for it.

No Fridge, No Microwave (standard at the Hamptons & Holiday Inn Expressess that I usually stay at. No Free Breakfast. No Free parking. Hotel charges $6 EXTRA per day for parking-(2) levels are outdoors. Hotel charges $12 for breakfast unless you are a Priority club member. Ice & Vending are on ONE floor of a 9 story hotel.

The hotel is exactly what you would expect, given the location, price, and corporate ownership. The only surprise was a six dollar parking fee in an attached garage that is in extremely poor repair and leaked residue all over my car.

Even with paying for parking, this room was worth its price. The staff were very pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean, warm and appreciated. We missed having a refrigerator and microwave, but were aware our room would not have them. I did find it a bit odd that we had to go from our 8th floor room to the 2nd […] floor to get ice. Although it's a nice hotel, they charge for parking in their garage. In a large metropolitan area (e.g. San Fran) I might expect that, but not in Pittsfield.
