Good-size room. Very clean. In-room safe but no free Internet. Nice breakfast and helpful staff. Only negative was that one of the two elevators was out of service for the time we were there.

Even though when we walked into the hotel on arrival, there were a group of 25 tourists crowded around the reception, The receptionist, promptly noticed us and attended to us. very helpful in giving us the kind of room we preferred. Bathroom was very clean and just about equipped with the standard neccesities. The free morning breakfast was just a basic breakfast, not a big deal. The only NEGATIVE thing about this business hotel is, they do NOT give you internet free in the room. These days if you are a business or even a regular tourist, you do not want the handicap of not having internet in your room, they do offer this facility if you pay them a whopping Eur 12 for one night! THAT according to me was too steep. Most hotels in the area offered this as complimentary. Public areas had free internet, which is not what you want, if you are on an official visit and want to have your documents around you when you are online. This is a very nice hotel just next to Taksim Square (1 block walking distance). Taksim Square is located in downtown Istanbul. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. I spent 4 nights at this hotel and I would come back. The rooms are very clean -- just like in US in top hotels. Furniture is new and in great shape. The rooms are not large […] by American standards, but not small either. The amenities in the room are very good. There is a very sturdy safe so you can lock your money and passport. Breakfast at this hotel is excellent. It is on the top floor, with a magnificent view of the city. Food is a mix of Turkish and Western. It is very good -- a lot of choice. I used the hotel gym. It is very modern. Same equipment as in a good hotel gym in US. There were just a few small glitches. The first night I was put in a smoking room -- but I arrived very late and was tired and did not bother to ask for non-smoking (it was on my reservation). The next morning I asked to be moved to a non-smoking room, and my request was accommodated immediately, even though the hotel was actually almost fully booked. At the reception, one staff member was a bit colder than what you may be used to in US. But this is normal in Istanbul. They have, however, accommodated every single request that I made. The hotel porters, chamber maids and most receptionists were extremely friendly to me -- even more so than at top hotels in US. In short, this hotel is a very good choice in Istanbul. All in all this hotel was fine. Room was a decent size and amenities were satisfactory. Everything was clean. Don't stay near Taksim square if you can't handle a little noise from the street- it's just reality. From the airport, it is very easy to get to the hotel taking the Havas bus to Taxim Square. The hotel is only a couple blocks from the stop. The Metro station to get to the historic district is also right there. It was less expensive to stay on this side of the city and yet easy to get to all the key attractions. We made a reservation for a triple room as we wanted a bigger hotel room and also requested for a quiet, non-smoking room. We were given a double-room which was non-smoking but when we entered the room, we found that there was a strong cigarette smell. Our first night was terrible as we could hear all the street noises, When we checked with the reservation desk the next day, we were told that there were no triple-rooms avaiiable and that we would be given a double-room instead without any reduction of the room rates. After much discussion, a Senior hotel executive approached us and offered us a choice of two double rooms which were available and a triple room on the 3rd floor. Part of the charm was getting a good deal at Hotels.com. I was attending a conference at the Hilton down the street and didn't want to pay a premium. Though location is ideal, the rooms size is way too small for a four stars hotel. The breakfast quality of food and choices do not commensurate with four stars either. The reception level of services in terms of restaurants recommendations where also extremely deceiving and disappointing.

Vi ankom til hotellet ud på aftenen og kunne godt se at der var liv i området, men på hotellet var der ro, og man fornemmede ikke hvor meget stemning der var i gaderne 400 meter væk. Bra och prisvärt medelklass hotell, nära till många restauranger. Tvärs över Taxim torget ligger den långa gågatan Istiklal Caddesi där det vimlar av affärer, cafeer och restauranger. Hotellet har hyfsat snabbt WLAN vilket är bra för oss som reser i tjänsten. Bra frukostutbud och trevlig bar att slappna av i på kvällskvisten.

De eerste kamer die ik kreeg (315) was aan de achterkant en van buiten klonk indringend lawaai van iets dat leek op een dieselaggregaat. Het geluid dreunde door, ondanks dat het raam dicht was. Ik ben meteen teruggegaan naar de receptie en heb dit gemeld. Het leek er sterk op dat dit een bekende klacht was, want de receptionist vroeg niet verder en […] gaf meteen een andere kamer, ditmaal aan de voorkant (703). Deze was groter, met een bad in plaats van een douche en prettig stil. Je hoorde wel straatgeluiden van verkeersluwe straten en, vrij luid, de geluiden van de gang en de kamer ernaast. Helaas was dit wel een rokerskamer op een rokersverdieping en op een of andere manier trok sigarettenrook van de gang en misschien ook van aangrenzende kamers door in mijn kamer. Dit ongemak heb ik geaccepteerd, hoewel ik een niet rokers kamer gevraagd had. Het ontbijt op het panorama-dakterras was uitstekend en daar zag ik op de daken van aangrenzende hotels overal zware aggregaten en airco-installaties. Soms waren de gebruikte handdoeken en waslappen wel weg maar waren er geen nieuwe. De eerste dag stond er een fles drinkwater, maar die werd niet vervangen. Kennelijk moest je als je lekkere thee wilde zetten, zelf water kopen (winkeltjes pal naast het hotel) of uit de minibar betrekken. Theezakjes waren gratis. De lokatie is perfect, vlakbij Taxim plein, maar ver genoeg om er geen geluidsoverlast van te hebben. Kortom een uitstekend hotel met een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Ďalšie informácie

Huone oli siisti, mutta vanha ja kulunut. Jos ei lomalta hae muuta kuin kattoa päänsä päälle niin sitten voin suositella tätä hotellia. Das Hotel liegt nicht weit vom Taksim Platz entfernt, d.h. im europäischen Einkaufsviertel. Die 4 Sterne sind nicht mit EU-Hotels vergleichbar. Istanbul ist aber eine sehr schöne Stadt. Der Rest versteht sich von alleine. Das Zimmer war relativ sauber, aber klein. Wir mussten einmal das Zimmer wechseln, da Wasserschaden und zu laut. Die Sicht entweder […] zu Straße oder direktes Gebäude gegenüber, also kein Blick auf die Stadt oder das Meer, etc... Zudem ist das Personal leider sehr schlecht ausgebildet und teilweise unhöflich. Selbst dem Hotelmanager scheint es egal zu sein, wer kommt und wer geht oder unzufrieden ist. Das Frühstück sehr eintönig, aber reichlich.... W-LAN 15€ pro Tag! Achtung das Hotel-Taxi zum Flughafen kostet 75 und das Taxi vor dem Hotel nur 50, wobei es auch genug Taxis am Taksim platz gibt, die man für 30 Lira buchen kann.... Allgemeines und Lage: Das Hotel liegt ca. 300m vom Taxim Square auf selber Höhe! Von dort aus gelangt man recht kostengünstig mit dem Bustransfer Havas zu den beiden Flughäfen. Besser gehts nicht, wenn man sich nicht mit den Taxifahrern ärgern möchte und einen kostengünstigen und sicheren Transfer wünscht. Service: Roomservice ist 24h vorhanden. Hotelsafe […] ist kostenlos und groß genug. Ich habe ein Macbook Air das 30cm lang ist. dieses und vieles mehr hatte Platz. Fernseher sind LCD. Hochwertige Kleiderbügel aus Holz vorhanden sowie die Minibar. Kaffee & Tee in Einzelbeuteln stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung und werden täglich ersetzt. Ich habe um 2 Uhr Nachts meine Safenummer verstellt und innerhalb von 8 min war der Technikservice vor Ort! Note 1 für diesen Service. Auch der Spa Bereich ist gut ausgestattet mit moderen Geräten WLan steht jedoch nur in der Hotellobby kostenlos zur Verfügung Sauberkeit: Das Hotel ist sauber und der Service gut. Den allgemeinen Zustand würde ich als ordentlich bezeichnen. Schwachstellen sind im Detail zu finden und wenn man das Haar in der Suppe sucht. Ich selbst handhabe es ohnehin so, das ich die Klobrille und die Dusche mit meinem Reisedesinfektionsmittel säubere. Frühstück: Frühstück ist Standart aber alles täglich frisch. das Rührei ist so locker wie es sein soll. Alles ist Sauber und in ausreichender Menge vorhanden.
