Crowne Plaza Liverpool - Liverpool

My colleage and I have used this hotel a number of times and cannot fault it for comfort. We've had business meetings here as well as staying as guests. The staff in the business centre have been terrific and helped us out of some 'laptop' difficulties. Very friendly and helpful. If I had one negative comment it would be that the service in the restaurant […] is pretty hit and miss - but the staff are mortified when you point out something wrong and quickly put it right for you. Very nice hotel. Good pool and spa facilities. Great location. Clean and quiet room. We stayed with our two girls (8 and 6) and felt very well looked after. Would recommend. Good value for location too.

I treated my husband and eleven year old son to a weekend in Liverpool. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza which was very close to many museums and the Beatles experience. We were 7-10 minutes walking time from Liverpool 1 and the Cavern quarter. Two minutes walk to the mersey ferry. We had a very comfortable stay. Indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hot pool were included. Pool is a good size, no life guard so you have to keep an eye on your kids, but you should anyway! It would appear that all the rooms are the same size apart form the suites. Theses standard and executive rooms are okay but just that - okay. We upgraed to a suite overlooking the Liver building and this was the best move we made. The hotel is now a bit tired and will need refurb in the next couple of years. We stayed overnight to celebrate our anniversary (30th) - although we had paid to have a queen bed, the roo we had was lovely with spectacular views. What made it for me was that it had a bath and a shower! The management gave us a celebration dessert to our room as a surprise for our anniversary. Lovely thought. We stayed 3 nights ,and used the restaurant on the thursday evening we didnt eat there again not very good

road works outside, and the beans were cold at breakfast, £3.50 for a bottle of water. but a very clean hotel

Great hotel and conveniently located to all amenities. Lovely view of the docks. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Not a bad hotel but cost of food was high for the small size of food given. Guests should have free parking Some cob webs around window & curtain area which was a turn off. Staff where very helpful and nice to deal with

stayed for 4 nights recently great location happy staff my wife and i rate this hotel 9/10 we have stayed several times and it will be our choice next time we visit liverpool

Very friendly staff throuout the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the Crown Plaza

It was okay but only at a lower price. Room was small and we could hear the room next door. Felt as if I was going to roll off the bed.

Right beside the docks. First thing that we saw every morning were the Liver Birds! Close to the city centre a bit of walk but you do get to see some fabulous buildings. What a fabulous hotel!! Great location, very comfortable rooms and little extra touches like complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits etc.. bottles of water in the room, robes and comlimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Plush & confortable, the hotel is situated 2 minutes waliking distance from port area. Car parking available

We found the hotel easy to find in busy pea hour traffic and very comfortable beds with good dining facilities-just wish they would incorporate the ten pound car park cost into the cost-excellent hotel chain.

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza and everything was fantastic! From the warm, welcoming and very helpful staff to the great facilities and really nice room! The food was fantastic, the cocktails were great and the leisure centre was just what I needed after a hard day's work! The only downside was the cooked breakfast, which I felt was a tad […] over priced, although after getting a good discount on here it didn't make much difference, plus there are many other places in the area if you didn't want to make the 'investment' in breakfast at the Crowne Plaza! nice location, nice hotel with good staff. the pool area is great but the changing rooms were a mess this was not the fault of the staff but the people using them. the room was good but should have free wifi for the price of a nights stay, overall a good hotel I have stayed here a number of times and will do so againg in future

Very friendly staff, very clean rooms with lots of extras as standard ie bathrobes, choc, still and sparkling water, body moisturers to name but a few. Breakfast starts at 6.30 which was great as we had an early start and again couldnt fault a thing. Bar food menu was very good and was served till 11 at night

The hotel was lovely. The room was really nice had a lovely view of the city and mersey. Room was bit warm but you were able to put the room temperature down you aren't able to open the window. There was a fridge in the room but it wasn't stacked or on so when you opened it it didn't have a pleasant smell but the woukld stack it for u if you requested […] but you'll pay 4 it. On the saturday we went swimming house keeping tried getting in2 the room dead on at 9 so if u don't want 2 be distubered use your do not disturb signs. Swimming pool was lovely couldn't fault it at all. Only thing I wasn't pleased with was we had dinner 1 nite in the hotel we didn't order any starters just our mains and 2 minearls while we were waiting for our dinner 1 of the waiting staff came over and was talking to us for about 5 mins which i thought 2 b odd i never experienced that b4. Our mains arrived the food was lovely there just wasn't a big amount of it. we ordered dessert as well and there was a big amount there either we both ordered waffles and we got half a waffle each then when we paid it was £4.40 service charge the bill came 2 £48.40 just thought it was very expensive for 2 carbaonara's and 2 half waffles but apart from that the hotel is lovely staff are very friendly can't do enough 4 u. This hotal is great, good location, good parking and really close for the city centre. I was only there for the one night but was more than satisfied. Rooms realy good and the customer service (for what I needed) was great. This was our second stay in a Crowne Plaza hotel. Check-in was very quick and efficient. Our room was on the fourth floor with nice views over the river. We would say that facilities were up to the standard for this class of hotel. Just a few minor points we put on the comments form i) would have been nice to have more hangers for clothes, and more […] hooks to hang wet towels ii) the TV could'nt pick up BBC4, but then you don't go on holiday to watch telly ! Free Wi-Fi access (and a desktop terminal - unfortunately broken at the time) is available in the lounge area. Hotel service was excellent. We did'nt use the restuarant during our stay as we preferred to venture out. The reception staff were able to recommend some very good places within a 10-15 walk. Really nice hotel in a fantastic location in the city center. - within 5 mins walk of the central shopping districts. Breakfast was top notch and the staff very very friendly and professional ...... that's the good news. Now for the bad news, unfortunately the room we were in developed a leak in the bathroom which soaked the floor in our room and everything […] on it (including bags with clothes in them). I discovered this on the 1st night of our stay around 1am and the duty manager came to confirm the leak damage. There was no other rooms available so we just had to ride it out until 8am when the plumbers arrived and managed to stop the leak. So no real sleep on the first night and no lie in the following morning .. I have 3 young kids and this was supposed to be my recharging the batteries break .. the events of the first/night morning ruined any chance of that. To be fair to the hotel they did give us some money for drinks/food and washed the clothes that had beensoaked the night before. However as 1 full night and morning was ruined out of a 2 night trip I was expecting a little more from such an established name as Crowne Plaza. I am a seasoned round the world business traveller with a large Amercian corporation and would have expected a free nights accomodation to have been offered from any large hotel chain for this level of interuption. They did move us to a different room but this was directly across from the elevators so a lot of noise outside the room the next morning and the last chance of a lie-in gone. So a very nice hotel with great staff and fantastic location but with a fairly poor response to a customers trip being significantly ,I'm giving them a low score. Ďalšie informácie

A very well presented, comfortable and conveniently located hotel. Can't recommend it highly enough. Staff were polite and efficient, sometimes overly so. At dinner the food was really excellent quality and well presented but I didn't enjoy the constant attention from staff - although you can't fault their enthusiasm.

My family stayed in this Hotel for a week and it was great. Excellent location near the Albert Docks and Liverpool One Shopping Centre. The breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and supportive. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

I stayed in this hotel before so I thought it would be ok. I was totally wrong. The room we were staying in was right next door to housekeeping and we were woken up every morning from about 8 with the banging & moving of stuff around. Also the pillows in the rooms were like rocks & i couldnt sleep on them. We were kept waiting for 45mins for our dinner […] on Sunday night & when it came it was so not worth the money we paid for it. For breakfast two mornings we had to wait up to 20 mins for a table & then when you eventually got in we had to wait for the food. Overall I have to say i was very disappointed with the hotel & would not stay there again. It was suppose to be a 4star hotel. No way did it compare to that. Ďalšie informácie

Fantastic hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were a decent size and very clean and tidy. The pool in the hotel is a brilliant size just wish we would have had the time to go in it!!! We would definately go to this hotel again in the future.

Staff were friendly, helpful & professional. Hotel was smart, rooms excellent. Breakfast was good quality, well-cooked & coffee was prompt. Have recommended hotel to friends & would love to return.

Four of us stayed at CP before a concert at the Echo Arena. Excellent location & the hotel facilities - check-in / room / breakfast - where all outstanding. Would definitely stay there again.
