I came to Sunnyvale on a short business trip, and just needed a place to sleep for one night. This Best Western suited that purpose perfectly. The room was comfortable, if not luxurious, and the service was helpful. The rooms are a bit cold and not enough blankets. Towels arent' great. Excellent water pressure and bedding is high quality. Nice flat screen TV's but no cable channels (like HBO). Great location, can get a bit of background road noisedepending upon where you are in the hotel

the exterior of the hotel made it seem like more of a motel instead of hotel..but once u got into the room it was good space & comfy bed...overall a good stay!
"Easy In and Out"
This hotel was in a great location to me because it was in the middle of both of the places I had to go for meetings. Easy and quick access to the 101 and the room was good. It wasn't huge, but it did the job with a good night's rest.

The hotel was clean enough, but the main reason why I wouldn't recommend it is the noise. The walls and ceiling are paper thin. You could hear a person cough or talk in the next room just like they were in your own room. So of course if you are on the phone, then you can get they can hear every word you say as well. The breakfast room is exceedingly small too (basically just the hotel lobby) for a hotel this large and there generally isn't anywhere to sit down during the busy times in the morning. "Good Location"
Overall the hotel worked well for us and the location can't really be beat as it is in the heart of Silicon Valley..30min to San Fran, 10min from San Jose.

i stayed at the comfort inn, the week prior for the same price and the room was much bigger and nicer. i wouldn't go back to best western

"Exceeded My Expectations"
This place is great where it counts. Beautiful clean rooms with comfortable beds. Must have undergone a remodel recently as outside is pretty much run of the mill and thus decieving relative to the inside. I consult near by and have now stayed there twice. They offer a lite breakfast but there are several places near by for a better one.

This hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was so convenient to Highway 101 and to a lot of restaurants. The rooms are a little small but they are adequate. "Best Western Plus in Sunnyvale, CA - Great service"
This is not the fanciest place I've ever stayed, but the complimentary breakfast was better than many and the high-speed internet was free. The room was comfortable and the location was convenient to businesses and restaurants in Sunnyvale and Cupertino. It was also a quick drive from San Jose Airport.

Compare to nearby BW Santa Clara, this one offers much better breakfast, faster Internet, more decent rooms and less lousy neighborhood which are all good for business travelers. 10-minute drive to Juniper, PMC and Lookheed, 30-minute drive to VMware and SAP. Holiday makers may not find this hotel interesting so look for something else down at El Camino […] if you do. More than 100 channels with a flat panel TV. Far from being at Embassy Suites or Marriott but it's whole lot better than any motel-like Quality Inns, BW's or Comfort Inns. I made the wrong decision at BW Santa Clara first, decided to move here and I didn't regret at all. Worst thing being on a business trip people surrounding you in the hotel holiday makers on flippers or even barefooted but here most people in shirts and shoes you don't feel awkward and being left behind. This hotel was great! The room was very nice. There was a gym and vending machines right down the hall which was extremely convenient! I would highly recommend this hotel.
The only thing wrong with the hotel was that there was no elevator and we were on the second floor with lots of luggage.

For the cost of this room I expected a little more modern conveniences. There was not adequate ventilation. This a good place for the business traveller. Free WiFi and really clean room with very comfy bed. Located on a road where direction of traffic is controlled, so it's difficult to access when coming from the freeway. The room smelled like smoke even though it had recently been renovated and was designated as a non-smoking room. Extremely unhappy with the smell, as I am quite sensitive to it. The Breakfast buffet was mediocre at best.

"what!!!" why didn't he inform us of this BEFORE he watched us take a luggage cart out to our car that was only parked a few feet away. "Completely met our needs"
This was a basic hotel who did what they claim to do well. Comfortable-huge-bed, friendly staff, and tasty warm breakfast. I will recommend this place to other visitors to this area.

As the other reviews have said the beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in, including some 5 star resorts. Nice and clean rooms as well. Only complaint is that the water pressure is horrible. Everything is super low flow water and it made it a pain for anything related to washing and taking a shower. "mid price but comfortable bed"
We called for a late check-in and the man at the desk could'nt find my reservation, he did find it a few minutes later. when i checked in he upgraded my room, but we ended up with the one near the busy street. It was quite noisy at night so ask for one in the back. The bed was extremely comfortable and the new decor was lovely. "Comfortable room"
We stayed here one night while in the area. The bed was very comfortable. I wish my bed at home was as comfortable as this one. The room was clean and the hotel was well maintained. I will stay here again when I am in the area.
I got to say I didn't expect it to be such a nice, updated room, restroom was very clean too. The bed was very comfortable! I will definitly stay there again.

We needed a room close to Standford U and this hotel worked out fine. Right off the 101, it's easy to locate. A typical Best Western, clean rooms, friendly staff and an average breakfast buffet. I'd stay there again.

"Nice clean quiet place to stay in San Jose area"
We arrived a bit early and the desk was able to let us check in and get our room before we had to head out to evening activities. The room was clean and had decent space. We were pleased that we didn't hear any noise both nights we were there. The bed was comfortable and lots of pillows! For the price we felt it was worth it. After we checked in, the front desk called us to make sure the room was perfect. I have to say, that I have stayed in many hotels. I was very impressed how nice, and clean, the rooms were. Anytime I am down in this area, I will be staying again! This is one of the best I have EVER stayed in!
