Fortunately, we found out that the shower is broken and we were given a new room on the ground floor, which was much more spacious and comfortable. However, something in the bathroom stinked and there was only hot water available in the shower! I would recommend the hotel for somebody who intends to use the hotel only for an overnight stay. Not good for a romantic trip.

"Great location but be cautious with the rooms."
Firstly, the hotel is in a great location for the airport. There are regular buses to and from the airport. The nearby village is lovely, some nice pubs and places to eat and Crawley town centre is nearby as well. Unfortunately not all was well with my stay. I was in room 118 and I can honestly say after staying in many, many hotels this was the dirtiest […] room I have ever stayed in. There was dirt, papers and drink bottles under the bed that had clearly been there for some days if not weeks. The staff did move us to another clean room, however this room had the air conditioning machine in it making quite a lot of noise making it difficult to sleep. Hopefully I was unlucky with the rooms I stayed in. That aside the staff were in the main friendly and helpful, the hotel was obviously once a grand place which although in need of some updating still has more character than the majority of airport hotels. "Loud and dated"
I've stayed here twice now,giving it the benefit of the doubt. But never again. No hotel should be that loud. I stay at hotels around airports all the time, no excuse for it to be that noisy. Invest in some double glazed windows. This hotel needs seriously updating. Unless you want to hear every aircraft turn into the runway and take off, don't stay […] here. Also lots of guests who seem to think they are the only ones staying here- shouting in corridors and slamming doors. The side table had not been wiped down and when I switched the bedside lamp on I could see dust in the air every time I moved. The young lady on the reception desk was very polite though. Seems the staff are the only positive thing here. Not for me- clean and quiet are the only things important to me in a hotel/B&b. Overall, at £20 per night, not bad, the room was spacious, clean although the walls were a little thin but not too bad. Poor in maintenance. Ended up looking at 5 rooms before settling with one with no major issues. A couple had non-working showers, 1 had non-flushing toilet and a couple had non-working heating. So check well before settling for a room !! A double room and bed is too small for 2 persons but a very good size for a single person. I was a single person […] and got a special offer of a double room for the price of a single. On top of which I went through a money saving site and will be getting a further 12% in cashback. So for the price I paid - approx £42 for 2 nights - this was an amazing value for money. I would definitely stay here again with similar offer conditions. Great hotel for such a great price! Like none of the others online this is in such beautiful surroundings yet stil so close to everything.. You need a car though.. Service was Great so were the rooms. Good food too. Would def stay here again!Autentické hodnotenie hosťa Hotels.com
