Ideal location. Close to the Dom, the Christmas Markets, and the Roman Museum. Very quiet inner courtyard room despite being in the middle of the city. Room was clean and well lit. Modernized bathroom with great shower. Some construction in area but it's easy to avoid and was not a noise problem (weekend stay).

Very good location, rooms are a bit small, breakfast buffet was good variety but not always hot and one day we waited 15 mins till they got more food. The bed was very comfortable. Overall it is a recommended hotel.

a nice hotel with an unbelievable location beside Cologne's famous Cathedral and Old town. The rooms are a little "Narrow" but function perfectly. The lobby area is great and they have a nice bar - Breakfast is way too expensive at €24 - its bread rolls and coffee! The outside of the hotel is rather unfortunate in that there has been long term construction […] ongoing for an very long time. it shouldn't effect your stay. "Pleasant hotel in convenient location"
This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but the location is excellent--right behind the Ludwig and Romanisch-Germanisches (sp?) museums and the Dom. The hotel is very quiet, well-maintained, nice looking on the inside, and the staff that I interacted with were all pleasant and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and had all the necessities. […] I would definitely stay here again. One note, because it is non-descript (square, gray building) and the hotel sign is not very prominent (purple letters on a dark-gray exterior under a sort of awning), I had a hard time spotting it at first. "Ideal location for Christmas Markets"
We stayed here for three nights to visit the Cologne Christmas markets. The location for the hotel is ideal for this - just yards from the Cathedral and its market; a equally close the the Alter Markt markets and ice ring; a stones throw from the Rhine, and only five minutes walk from the Railway station, The hotel rooms were newly decorated and very […] comfortable. There are some long-term construction works at the front of the hotel, but no-one was working over the weekend. The only quibble was that the breakfast was expensive - €24 per person. However, there was a Starbucks very close as an alternative. We flew into Dusseldorf rather than Cologne. It was a very easy transfer ( only 40 minutes on a direct train). If you are doing that, Google the VRS tages ticket. Duselldorf to Koln is 5 zones, but if there is a group of you the 5 person ticket will be a lot cheaper than buying single train tickets. "Great location, small room, nice but not luxury."
From previous reviews, my wife and I expected the room to be small and it was. Everything was clean and seemed relatively new, except for the tv which was small and old. The shower was very nice. Once you figure out where it is, the location is great, centrally located near the Dom, museums, restaurants, shopping, and the train station. It is difficult […] to find at first because it is nestled among the Ludwig museum and the Roman German museum, and is at a lower elevation. We did not try the pub or restaurant. There was a safe, minibar, and hairdryer in the room but no iron. There is construction going on directly on front of the hotel. Otherwise our room would have had a perfect view of the Dom, but it was obstructed by a large crane right outside our room. "Glimrende!"
Suverent hotell! Jeg og min kone var veldig fornøyd. Vi hadde rom mot bakgården. Hørte knapt av vi befant oss i en by. Rommet var rent og virket nytt og de hadde minibar ;-) Personalet særdeles hyggelig. Rett fram var kirken og shopping. Til venstre mat og øl. Korte avstander til alt. Anbefales på det sterkeste :-)
Hotelzimmer: Im Badezimmer war das rechte Waschbecken verstopft. Die Badezimmertür ließ sich sehr schwer schließen. Der Türgriff vom TV-Schank war angerissen (halb gerissen). Was das Hotel angeht, hätte ich für den Preis was besseres erwartet. Für mich kein fünf Stern Hotel!!!!!!!!

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und der Service ist hervorragend. Das Zimmer war etwas klein für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel aber sehr geschnackvoll ausgestattet. Gerne wieder!

"Goed gelegen behalve de werken"
handtas gestolen in de ontbijtzaal - personeel niet echt begaan (onverschillig) en op vraag van de politie en ook op mijn aandringen om de veiligheidscamerafilm te tonen niet ingegaan want er was wel iemand die we opgemerkt hadden en die plots niet meer in de zaal was en die ook niet ontbeten heeft -

"Value for money and perfect location!"
Nice facilities and very good location, to a reasonable price. Only 5 minutes from main station and next to the doom makes it very easy to get there by foot on arrival. Only negative are the conruction work going on in front of the hotel for several years now.

Et veldig bra hotell beliggende i sentrum rett nedenfor "Kölnderdomen" og museumet. Også rett i nærheten av shoppinggate. Opplevde det som moderne, rent og ryddig med høflig betjening. Bra frokost!

"Bra beliggenhet, men neppe 5 stjerners hotell"
Hotellet er i og for seg bra, men svarer ikke til det man forventer av et 5 stjerners hotell. Beliggenheten er upåklagelig, midt mellom de triveligste gatene i gamlebyen og Kølnerdomen. (Ca 4 min gange). Togstasjonen, som ligger rett ved Kølnerdomen, er også veldig nær.

"Winterwochenende in Köln"
Gutes Hotel im Allgemeinen, gute Lage. Freundlicher und unkomplizierter check-in. Die Lifte im Hotel sind sehr alt, seeehr langsam und überholunsbedürftig. Im Zimmer ist es eher kühl, auch die "Heizung" (Air-con mit Wärmefunktion) kann nicht viel dagegen machen. Scheint an den schlecht isolierten Fenstern zu liegen; in der Nacht hat man schon mal kalte […] Füsse. Lärmisoliert ist das Hotel auch sehr schlecht, min. 3x Aufwachen wegen alkoholisierten, rumschreienden Leuten. Ansonsten zufriedenstellende Ausstattung, auch wenn die Zimmer etwas auf der kleinen Seite sind. Bad top. Ďalšie informácie

godt hotel, der ligger lige i hjertet af Køln. Sød betjening, god morgenmadsbuffet og hyggelig bar. Vi boede ud til Domkirken, men blev ikke forstyrret af hverken trafik eller klokkespil.

Perfekt beliggenhet rett ved Domen. Sentralt både i forhold til Kölnmessen, butikker og restaurantområde. Rent, pent - i det hele tatt god standard og god service. Får våre varmeste anbefalinger.

Es war nur eine Nacht, die ich in Ihrem Hause verbracht habe. Aber eine direkte Beanstandung habe ich nicht. Das Four-Points of Sheraton ist sonst meine Adresse gewesen, da es auch sofort am Bahnhof liegt. Aber das Mondial mit sofortigem Erreichen der Altstadt/Rheinufer und auch der Einkaufsstrassen, dom, Museen - einfach super !
