Nice hotel, however water doesn't get to hot in the shower.

it is nice hotel, expensive since the location is great, just cross bridge to downtown historical area. The lady in the front door is very friendly.

We were not sure what to expect since we had never stayed at a Sleep Inn Hotel before, but I must say were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, breakfast, how close to downtown Charleston, restaurants around the area, etc. The only bad thing was all the construction in the area but you could not hear any noise in the hotel. Very good!!!!!

The only bad thing was the pillows were too worn out to sleep good. One was not enough and two was too much. We were the for sightseeing and a wedding. The hotel was close to the things we wanted to see and the wedding site.

I booked online, not knowing anything about the hotel. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a cheerful, knowledgable, wonderful lady who knew her stuff and was completely ready for our arrival. She was helpful, kind and warm. We were staying there prior to going on a cruise, and she had everything ready for us (travelling with another couple) including […] transportation to the cruise terminal. I have never been more pleased with a hotel experience than I was with Sleep Inn. When I head to Charleston, SC and environs again, I will make sure that I stay at the Sleep Inn in Mt. Pleasant. I've never stayed at a Sleep Inn before but I sure am glad I did! I go to Charleston a good bit and I love staying in different hotels and Sleep Inn is the best hotel I've stayed at in that area. It's seconds from the Ravenel Bridge, therefore seconds from downtown Charleston. The hotel rooms had a unique feel to them and the decor was outstanding! […] The pool was a bit small but still nice. We stayed at Sleep Inn, Mt. Pleasant for 5 nights because it was in a great location close to the bridge to Charleston center and sat back from the major road so it was very quiet. Also, the breakfast was good and the staff at the desk were professional, friendly and helpful. However, the lobby computer for general guest use was terrible. It was so […] slow that I wasted valuable time on my vacation trying to get information from it. The stress and unconvenience pretty much put a damper on our trip since we came to this area at the last minute without being able to research it. I had no idea this hotel was undergoing major renovations so was surprised to walk in and see no floor in lobby or breakfast area, vending & ice machines removed, construction debris in stair wells and dirty carpet from the construction. Had to step over a few items sometimes. There really should've been a warning somewhere about it. Other than reno, […] the double bed was almost more like a single & half so made for tight sleeping-hope the reno includes options for 2 queen beds! Good news is it was quiet-no banging around. The staff was nice. Our room was newly carpeted. The bathroom sink was new. Shower pressure pretty decent (but warm water was slooow coming and I guess that was b/c of the remodel). Also cable went in and out at random for short bits-though wireless internet stayed stable. It'll be a nice place to stay once reno is done. Walking distance (with sidewalks all the way) to Patriots Point, the new waterfront pier, the bridge walkway, restaurants, gas, groceries. The room was clean and the bathroom seemed cleaned, but definetly needed to be scrubbed down a little better, there looked like mold or scum in the grout. The stairwell smelled musty and like old urine. Trees needed to be trimmed out back from over the pool area. It was ok but definetly not worth the $ a night.

Will stay at again. Continuenal breakfast was great, best I have seen.

I needed a place to rest my head for the night during a two-day conference in Charleston. Hotel was 300 yards away from my conference, check-in was fast and staff were friendly. Room and bed were comfortable. TV was new. Breakfast was okay, but I wasn't expecting The Four Seasons. Would definitely consider staying again.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Clean room but smelled too floral like perfume. Stair well smelled musty. Pool was nice but very small. Free internet and breakfast definitely sell it.

The locale is close to the bridge to get to Charleston. Liked that it was off Highway 17, so very quiet. The room and bath very small, sink is in room not in enclosed bath. Breakfast not bad but not special. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall good for the money I suppose, being we were there in high season and everything is expensive.

The lady at the front desk was WONDERFUL. I mean, just great. She ought to be in a high priced property with her customer service skills, she's that good. Other than that? This place is a mess. NO bathtub in the room, only showers. SO much for bathing small children or taking a bath if you don't want a shower. NO closet to hang up my clothes. Had […] to keep the luggage cart in the room, which took up valuable space. Small, small rooms. The corridors were hot as can be. People hanging out near laundry, making it look even seedier inside. A/C unit is the older sort, lots of noise, and you cannot get a comfortable temperature. Party animals out by the pool all night long, and in the morning, there were beer bottles, liquor bottles overflowing the trash can. A Dewars bottle left in a potted flower. Guys walking around in halls with no shirts on. Breakfast was forgettable. The worst coffee I have tasted in many years. Apparently there used to be a microwave, but they have been removed. Someone's car was hit in a hit/run right by the hotel front entrance that night. Seemed like the perfect place for that to happen. Location is decent, but there's road construction going on and you can hardly find the place. I would never stay here again. Bad experience. Low class, seedy place. Room cleanliness was okay, but the housekeepers kept BANGING on my door the next morning, before checkout and I was BUSY. They then sent guest services up to bang on my door. Very, very rude and intrusive. I'll be out by check out, and that's it. Stop bothering me, esp with the do not distrub sign on the door. There are much better places to stay right in this same neighborhood. I would glady pay the extra $25 to stay at the Holiday Inn, as this place made me feel dirty. Blech! Ďalšie informácie

We found the Inn to be very convenient to all of the sights and venues in the Charleston Area. For just the two of us, it was just right. With only sink in the room, I could see where it could be a little crowded in the mornings if you had a time restraint on getting to some meeting. Other than that everything was great. We stay at the Sleep Inn in Mt Pleasant so we could visit Patroits Point and see the USS Yorktown. This was a fantastic location for that. Also within walking distance of the pier that goes under the Cooper River bridge in a beautiful park. Many restaurant nearby. Lots of shopping too. Only 5 mins to downtown Charleston.

My husband and I traveled to Charleston for Thanksgiving. We usually have to stay in North Charleston for a cheap rate on a hotel. This hotel was so much nicer then those we have stayed in in North Charleston! Rooms were big, staff was pleasant and it was so convienent to Everything. We will definately stay again.

clean and quiet, great location. the pool is not much and the breakfast could use some healthier choices but every thing else was great.

This hotel is located just north of Charleston, SC, in a a very quiet, clean, well-kept neighborhood, yet so convenient to all the things a visitor to Charleston would want to see. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was much more than the norm. We specifically chose this hotel because they accepted pets. This hotel was a great value for the money. It had free internet wi fi in the room, daily continental breakfast and easy access to downtown Charleston and Mt Pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to all.

Although this hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there, they were very careful not to inconvenience the guests in any way. The staff was very polite and accommodating, and our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only thing that I would change would be to add lighting in the parking lot, but I think that the town of Mount Pleasant […] must have strict rules about bright lights - so I believe this beyond the hotel's control. The hotel was getting a spit shine when I arrived so there were a few maintainance guys to walk around and buzzing sounds and hammering sounds and the smell of fresh paint which doesn't bother me. Nice motel very convenient,safe, very nice staff both at desk and maintenance

Refrigerator was missing from the room. Instead, the carpet was soaking wet, probably from a malfunction in the missing refrigerator. They should not have rented this room out, and I know that other rooms were available (once we complained).

While the rooms appear to be well maintained and comfortable, the hallways and entrances have been very poorly maintained. The back door is suupposed to require card-key entry, but the door doesn't even close and the card system is broken. Anyone can enter at any time -- a security nightmare in that area of town. Very Nice Large Room, Friendly Staff, Very Comfy Bed, VERY Large Bathroom

Our stay was excellent. The hotel was in a good location, a lot better than I expected. The male front desk attendant was awesome! The only thing that was not so great was the small dining area. The Sleep Inn in Mt Pleasant was a pleasant stay. The breakfast was good, clean rooms and excellent service.

This place is OK, IF YOU ARE DRIVING, otherwise you are stuck in a world of other hotels with no public transportation. I came in on Amtrak. It is a beautiful bridge span from MT. The hotel was very close to downtown Charleston, which was what I was most interested in. Since it was located in Mt. Pleasant we had to drive across the Huge bridge and pay for parking downtown each time we went. That was still less than what we would have payed for a downtown hotel. The Sleep Inn is in a great location. We received exceptional service. Very clean.

This hotel is in a great location. Convenient to beaches and downtown Charleston. The rates are good. However, there are various maintenance issues that have come up during our two stays there. This time, no cold water in the bathroom sink and a HUGE water leak in the elevator during a rain storm. When we brought the leak to the attention of the front […] desk clerk, we were told "it's been leaking for awhile".
