Our stay got off to an unpleasant start. We were assigned to a room that had not been cleaned. Apparently, the housekeeper had told the desk clerk all the rooms had been cleaned. We we're stuck in a smoking room since that was all they had left but the entire hotel felt disgustingly dirty. Our room stunk to high hell. Even the bedsheets stunk. It was difficult to even let the sheets touch our skin. Alarm clocks were totally broken and showed letters instead of numbers.
