For the price tag of a night's stay I don't expect unmuffled hallway sounds (I could hear every person who walked to the elevator, every footfall and their conversations clearly) and either there was an elephant in the room above me or there is subpar sound insulation. I also waited an hour for a very simple bread and soup room service order that still cost nearly $20. Will not be staying here again. I havd heard abouth this hotel but always found it pricy. We steaded on the weekend to take advanage of the lower rate. The hotel was clean and staff freindly. We found the restaurant to have exellent sellections and a very good dinner. However, the room was cramped with only one soft chair not facing the flat screen TV. Nice hotel, rustic but elegant. Food in restaurant was good, expensive, but good. Room was comfy, the location of the hotel is away from traffic. having the balcony off the room was nice.
