Quick overnight stay. Happy with room and service. Breakfast was great. Good service. Valet parking a bOnus. Abit run down for price but comfortable bed and all amenities we needed

My wife and I stayed at the crowne plaza and booked it because we were not happy with our first hotel. Crowne Plaza Perth sits on a good location near the Swan River. The rooms are tired-looking and nothing to shout about. We booked a room that was supposed to overlook the river. Instead, we were given a third floor room that looks straight at the water tanks. The hotel explained that it's because of our early check-in and we could get another room the […] day after; but they never followed up on that promise. We were also disappointed with some of the in-room amenities: the original kettle had rusty coils and we asked for it to be changed. They replaced it with a new kettle that didn't work. When we tried to call Housekeeping again, our calls were not picked up. So we went without hot water on Day 1. The second day, the same unanswered calls - whether to the Front Desk or Housekeeping - happened repeatedly till we gave up and just waited for our stay to end. I wouldn't recommend staying in this hotel as the service is nonchalent and the facilities are mediocre at best. Ďalšie informácie

Updated soft furnishings and some new pictures cannot disguise that this is an old rather worn hotel - it really shows in the public areas and lifts. The bathrooms are very dated and offered thin poor quality towels and basic cheap toiletries. Carpet in the bedroom was not particularly clean and very industrial. It is quite an expensive hotel for what […] it offers but be warned that in addition to the basic room rate there is $28.50 for the internet in your room., $25 for car parking, $ 30 for a rather average breakfast and then on top of everything 1.5% for paying by credit card! Given that the hotel is rather a long walk from the city centre( business district is a taxi ride) I would recommend that you stay elsewhere. The service at the hotel was unbelievable. The manager Louis was amazing and organised and helped us with early check in and late check out - booked our bus trip and confirmed our tours etc. The hotel is stunning and exceptionally comfortable - we would recommend it to anyone. I like this hotel. I have stayed here many times in the medium past and find on a recent return that it has maintained its charm and ambience. Restaurant and Bar is a little expensive for what they offer . Staff are really helpful .
