The gentleman behind the desk was wonderful---he was there when i arrived and when i was leaving---He provided directions for me that were right on the button--I enjoyed my stay.

The beds were very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. The front desk was gracious, funny and helpful when checking in and out. Get a room at the back of the hotel. In the front you can hear the traffic rumble by. I saw they allow pets. Quite a few arrived when we did. I wish management continued success. They radiate good energy.

I enjoyed the extra care and concern that was shown when I requested help finding different businesses I needed to locate. Air conditioner was quiet, plenty of room, accommodating staff. All adds up to a very pleasant stay. Thanks.

The manager/desk clerk was quite helpful, friendly, and efficient. All in all, a very good overnight stay. The complimentary breakfast buffet included scrambled (and hard-boiled) eggs and sausage patties -- better than most other places we've stayed.

Even though this is only a 2 1/2 star hotel it well exceeded my expectations. I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again when I'm in Columbia SC. This would probably be the only hotel I stay in from this point on.The staff as friendly the rooms were clean and the breakfast was great.

We were quite satisfied with ourroom and the service. It was located very close to interstate allowing great access to downtown Columbia. While the neighborhood appeared to be ok, we found upon further inspection that the mall nearby was only about 30% occupied which was disappointing. A young guy drinking beer at the door upon our arrival did not leave a good impression. Appeared to be a party site but that did not materialize.

This hotel was very nice; it was clean, close to the city, and affordable. The workers were very friendly and accommodating. I will use this hotel again.

Visited for only one night to drop my son off to college. Very happy with the property. Hotel and rooms were very clean. Front staff was very helpful with directions and were very respectful to the customer. Great value for the price! Will stay there again when I visit my son!

The staff was very friendly and the room was great. For the price, I really don't think I could have found a better place.

Courteous young man at desk, very helpful, engaging. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Plenty of parking, great breakfast with waffles. Free newspaper in am.

Our room was very comfortable and the overall appearance of the motel was very clean and nice. We would stay there again.

Although the surrounding location had chat.fed somewhat from many years ago, the hotel was a gem: very clean, updated, comfortable, and the owner and his family went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable stay and clean hotel. No complaints. Stayed one night...a little pricey due to the USC home game that weekend.

This was my third stay at this hotel so you could say I like the place. It is comfortable, located near my destination, and the rooms have been quite nice. The air conditioning in my room was a little noisier than usual this time. Other than that, everything was just great.

Hotel showing its age, but pretty clean (except for smell of smoke in smoke-free room). Free breakfast buffet wasn't as good as some, but it was one of the few hotels available in Columbia that had one. Granted, it was a football weekend, but I usually get better for the price I paid.

The front desk staff was so welcoming! The bed was VERY nice and comfortable. It was an excellent hotel stay. I'm surprised it hasn't been rated higher honestly.

We recently stayed at this hotel and can't imagine that you could find better service or a cleaner more comfortable stay for the money. The staff was lovely, helpful and kind and we will stay here each time we visit Columbia.

Everything about the hotel was great. I would recommend to anyone to stay there.

Great Hotel.....clean....staff went out of there way to be helpfull....could not find a single thing to complain about.......highly recommend this hotel.

The night manager was very courteous and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location. I highly recommend this hotel.

All in all a very positive experience.Hotel was right off I-26 and within 3 minutes of I-20. Hotel staff was pleasant and friendly from check-in through check-out. Amenities were as described and all in good working order. Bathroom was small with vanity in the room proper, but that is more aesthetics than a practical problem. Good room at great rate. We saw hotels.com rate but thought we'd call motel directly for better rate, but they wouldn't budge, so we booked with hotels.com. The registrar at the desk was very accomodating and very nice. Breakfast was also great. If I were to return to Columbia, I'd go back to this motel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was close to the door since it was handicap and clean.

What they show on the screen is actually what you get. the pool was not that nice. They had broken umbrellas and ants all over, The pool is really small. Everything was compact, but pretty clean. For a couple of nights, not bad.

This hotel was clean and the customer service was great. The breakfast was also good and the breakfast staff was very accomodating and helpful. Clean rooms and comfy beds.

The cost and being only minutes from downtown Columbia were our initial reasons for choosing the hotel. Our subsequent visit, in addition to the location and cost, were due to the cleanliness and an overly polite staff.
