It would be worth it if you spent the extra $50 to stay in the Embassy Suites just around the corner. I had to ask to be moved because the hotel was mainly full of loud, rude, construction workers. VERY disappointing. The first room I was assigned overlooked the "courtyard" dont' be decieved. The "courtyard" was a place for the drunk, rude, profainty speaking construction workers to unwind. Anyway, I could not get the door to open, so I had to drag all my belongings back to the car and drive around to the front again. They put me on the first floor facing the courtyard...again, loud and noisy. On the 3rd attempt to accommodate me (and I give them credit for trying), my room was on the 3rd floor, much quieter, however, the inside door lock was broken. "Most economical hotel within 10 miles of hospital."
The Comfort Inn was adequate and the staff was helpful and friendly. The neighborhood seemed quite safe and was close to stores and restaurants. The rooms were a bit dated and probably are due for a sprucing up or redecorating. The rooms seemed clean except the carpet seemed to need shampooing. "overpriced economy hotel..."
I thought that the facility was okay. The room was small but sufficient. Internet service was good. The furnishings were old but clean. The room was more expensive than the furnishings or facilities warranted. A good rate in Tysons Corner, Va. There is construction chaos everywhere, the subway extension and adding lanes on the beltway make for a very difficult traffic situation. The hotel was basically fine, but the second story was only accessible via stairs or a very remote elevator- not great for people with back injuries. The room was fine, if a little […] noisy.
