I'm a Philly local who was looking for a safe, convenient place to stay for a weekend with the girls. Embassy Suites was perfect! Sitting area was huge and bedroom was far enough away for those who wanted to hit the pillow early w/o being bothered by noise. Balcony was great for the smokers, considering the elevator took a little while. Very safe area […] with plenty around. We walked everywhere, local pub, fancy dinner, Chinese take out, and even the liquor store for champagne to make some mimosas in the morning! Only stayed one night, but the thing I was most impressed about was the absolute friendliness of all the hotel staff I came in contact with. It was very refreshing.

Parking was about $27 per 24 hr period nearby. Not too bad for a bigger city. Great location, and a very good gym. Free weights, benches, pulleys, bikes, and treadmills. TGI Friday's on 2nd floor. Reasonable Internet rates.

This hotel has seen better days-- much, much, much better days. From not being able to check in (much later than check in time) because the rooms weren't clean, to long waits for the elevator, to long waits for the breakfast, to a general all around "down at the heels" ambiance, look elsewhere.

Good price and great location. Walking distance to a lot of great places. Enjoyed it with the Kids.

I don't have any major complaints about the hotel. Embassy Suites always satisfies with their large rooms. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. My only complaints about this particular property are: the elevators, which can be painfully slow during peak times... sometimes waiting 10 minutes on the high floors; and the breakfast buffet which […] doesn't compare to other ES' I've stayed at, not to mention having to wait in line for it... Central location to many attractions. Accomadations were excellant, included breakfast was a treat. A little pricy for parking. Two things to improve on would be: 1) replacing of creamers for coffee makers. The creamers in our room were old and dated. 2) There was no dvd player in the room and we had brought a few music cd's to play.

Great location, Great room, and Great staff!

Even in mid-winter, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway is beautiful--a great public expanse in Philadelphia. The hotel is perfectly situated between the city's great museums and downtown attractions. An excellent hotel situated in the heart of Phillys museum row, the views are breathtaking and the staff is super friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend a friend

We book a room here every year for my wife's birthday. She loves it and so do I. This year's feastivities went off without a hitch, but my wife left her nice dressy boots in the bedroom. By the time she realized this we were back home in Maryland. She then called the hotel and they promptly agreed to ship the boots back to her as long as we paid for […] the shipping. It was great and very convenient to stay close to center city at such a good price. My family and I were able to take in a lot in very short time and still see family and friends. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone

We had a wonderful time. Rooms are spacious, clean and they offer so much, from Managers cocktail hour when we arrived to breakfest buffet in the morning. We've stayed at other hotels in the city and by far this is the best deal for a weekend get away.

Embassy is famous for their cocktail reception and Buffet breakfast. The Philadelphia location needs to take a page from other loctions as far as having enough seats and enough food for these. Breakfast Buffet ran out of most of the foods (hot and cold) they also ran out of plates, bowls, cups,and seats but still had people piling in. We were just in town for the Thanksgiving Day parade. What a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful with great advice to all of our questions. The location is perfect. Easy walking distance to all the wonderful attractions. My family and I highly recommend this hotel.

The bedroom was very nice but the living room had large stains on the floor and on the couch. Overall the hotel felt a little dirty. Good view from balcony. My stay at this hotel was great. I would recommend it to anyone. Location was awesome. Only fault was that we were put in an wheelchair accessable room and the the bathroom door would not stay open. Other then that my stay was fantastic.

This hotel is a great spot for a city weekend. The hotel is close to major museums and the river area. Great location for walking around the city. Nice breakfast included at the Friday's attached to the hotel. Rooms are large and have area to prepare microwaveable items---small refrigerator and sink--no utensils or dishes unless you ask at main desk. […] Nice sitting area apart from the bedroom where a pull out sofa can sleep two. BUT...EVERY room in this hotel abuts an elevator (the hotel is a round structure) and the noise and vibration created from the elevator shaft mechanisms will keep anyone sleeping in the sitting area awake! the hotel is in a great central location and absolutely beautiful! couldn't be happier.

My husband and I were in Philadelphia with our young grandchildren to visit relatives and the Philadelphia Zoo. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Breakfast was filling at TGIF. The Valet gave great directions on using the interstate. Our room was beautiful and close to museums and sites. The only probably I had is with their Internet service - ibahn. It is only free in the lobby and they charge a fee per day when you sign up for it in your room. We paid the fee and the internet did not work. A technician came to our room and could not solve the problem. The ibahn company also charged […] our account twice for no reason and we never got Internet!! My sister recommended Embassy Suites. We needed to take our daughter to college and needed a place to spend the night. I was very pleased. Loved the size of the 1 bedroom suite. Overnight park is $37 + taxes, but in downtown all parkingis very pricy

There were 3 adults and the room was very comfortable and roomy. We were able to get around easily even though construction was going on.

room had old musty stale smoke smell. The breakfast buffet is run through TGI Fridays and it is not set up for a buffet. Long waits for breakfast and ran out of most items....like coffee and fruit. I have stayed at a number of embassy suites in the past and this one, by far, was the worst.

The room was very hot. Air Conditioning needs attention. Otherwise, a very nice stay. Staff attentive and professional. Location great.

The staff were excellent, very attentive to our needs. The hotel itself seems dated. The carpets on the floors we stayed on were wet and it gave the hallways a damp, musty smell. They had air blowers running to dry them but it didn't help. Breakfast at the TGIF was OK but had long lines in the morning. The parking was Valet ONLY and was expensive, $44 […] (incl taxes) for overnight parking. This hotel is in close proximity to the Science and Art museums, but unless you like walking, be prepared to take a taxi to see the historic attractions. If you're a family who needs a suite, it's worth staying here, otherwise there are better options closer to Old City. Ďalšie informácie

The hotel is located in a very busy intersection. However, it is convinient to all historic places and downtown shopping. The suite could be considered as a small 1 bedroom apartment. It is private, clean and comfortable. Warning: The parking located at the Hotel is expensive and be prepared for a brief waiting time during breakfast.

We only stayed at the Embassy Suites one night, but it was a great experience! We arrived before Check in time, but they allowed us to check in early, which worked out wonderfull for us. We could not have asked for the hotel to have been in a better locations and the hotel roon were HUGE. Almost like mini apartments and each one had it's own balcony, […] mini kitchen and living room!!! The Free Breakfast at TGI Fridays was also delicious. I read previously that it was packed and they were running out of food, but we stayed there on the weekend in early June, so I would imagine one of their busier times and we did not see a wait at all for breakfast. At least not at 9:30. The only complaint I have was parking. All of the parking was valet and it cost us like $40.00 a day before the rediculously high Philadelphia sales tab was added to it. The Embassy Suites Center City is conveniently located for the business center and the Art Museum, and the rooms are extremely large and comfortable. Staff was also welcoming and helpful. Our only complaint was that our [non-smoking] room definitely smelled like smoke.

Wonderful stay. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was great with amazing view of city and walking distance to attractions. A little pricey for parking but was defiantly worth it. Recommend to those traveling to Philly and will stay again !
