Thrifty Inn Paducah - Paducah

I wasn't expecting too much based on the very cheap rate, but I was REALLY surprised. Everything was clean and nice. I found out later that it is owned by the Drury company, whose hotels I have always liked. The only thing that I think could have used improvement was the bare-bones continental breakfast.

Very nice hotel for what we paid we weren't expecting much but the beds were so comfortable that it was the best sleep I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

I've never had easier check-in and the room was very comfy and clean. I enjoyed it until the guy in the room next door (with connecting door) was talking on the phone until 2am and I could hear the whole conversation. The outside noise was pretty rough, too. Room was clean and service was fine. Close to the highway which was convenient, but was noisy in the morning. We arrived at midnight and noise had us up by 7:00.

The room was fine but the environment was poor. It was hard to sleep because of people standing outside talking. They were loud and crude. It did not feel like a safe place for my family.

For the price, this hotel is very nice and clean. It would be nice if they had some hot food (eggs, pancakes, etc.) for their breakfast.

This hotel was OK. It is definitely a dated motel. I was told by the manager that it was once a Drury Inn before the new one was built next door. Sure enough, the beds said Drury Hotels on them and were very comfortable actually. The room had a slight "dirty" smell to them and the carpets were not very clean. The shower head is very low at around 5 […] feet tall so I had to bend over to fully shower. Surprisingly this hotel has "extra person" fees so the advertised rate ended up being higher. The location is great being right off of I24 and easy to get too with many eating and shopping establishments close by. Best part of my stay -- the staff. Amber, the evening person, was attentive and helpful. When I had trouble tuning in a specific cable network on my TV, she went out of her way to figure out the problem. The morning lady (whose name I didn't get) was cheerful and pleasant. I'll definitely stay again when I'm passing through Paducah.

HOTEL WAS WORN AND NEEDED A FACELIFT. CLEANLINESS WAS SATISFACTORY. NOT MUCH VARIETY ON THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO STAY ONE NIGHT BUT NO LONGER. IT WAS CONVENIENT TO THE MALL AND RESTAURANTS BUT ROOMS WERE NOT INSULATED VERY WELL AND TRAFFIC SOUND WAS AWFUL.

The motel was nice and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We just needed somewhere to sleep, so it was good for the money. Close to interstate, so I heard the early morning traffic.

With a name like Thrifty Inn, I wasn't sure whether this would be a good stay, but the rate was low, and worth a shot. I was really suprised at how clean the room was, the continental breakfast was good. I would stay here again when going through Paducah.

It was fine. Clean rooms, soft bed, cold ac. Two complaints ; no fridge, and the shower was short ( im only 5'6 and had to bend my back to use the shower head.) the pool looked clean but alas I forgot my swimsuit. Others were using it so spose it good.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean. Carpet could have been cleaner. All amenities mentioned were available. Right off I-24 but traffic noise wasn't bad. I suggest getting a room on the pool side to reduce the highway noise. This is a very busy hotel. Room was not very clean. Found trash in the bed and soap scum in the bathroom. However, they do allow dogs with no extra fee which was nice!!

The staff were very pleasant but the room, though non-smoking, was very musty and had an odor. The location was great with many restaurants and the shopping center just across the street.

I stayed overnight because of the location (not far from a half marathon I was going to in the morning). It was clean and adequate, though there weren't any plastic bags in the trash cans.

We have stayed here several times! My husband works out of town so this a hmeeting point for us plus we have friends in the area! We have never had any problems at the Thrifty Inn-they let us bring our dogs which is great! This time though was prom weekend-and apparently there was some heavy partying going on! My nonsmoking room reeked of smoke! We all had sore throats by morning. There was no recovering any positive comments after that. I also waited an hour and a half for a rollaway because the night clerk when home without telling her relief about the request. I finally called and got one sent up.

Was not very clean. Staff was friendly, but will not stay there again. The sink stopper was full of black mold and found some mold in the bathroom. Not a nice place.

Very convenient to I24. Friendly and helpful staff. Kind of noisy neighbors but it met our needs. Room was clean. Nice continental breakfast which was available earlier than promised.
