"Comfortable"
Nice staff... comfortable... easy access. Not in the city, however, so if you want to stay in Austin center, you'll need to book a hotel downtown. The parking is FREE here, and that was a big plus!

I stayed in this hotel back in November 2011 & was so pleased with my stay that when I returned to Austin,TX last week, March 2012, I made sure to book at the same hotel. On both trips to Austin, my daughters & I were by ourselves without my husband. We felt safe staying here & the location was convient for easy access to downtown, shopping, & plenty […] of places to eat. We were all very happy with the cleanliness of the rooms & friendly staff. On our 2nd stay, our A/C was not working properly, so I called the front desk & they happily moved us to another room. They also made sure to find us one right across the hall bc they didn't want us to have to move all of our baggage too far. "Perfect for the money!"
I was there for a High school state championship swim meet. I unfortunately waited until a couple of days before to book a room. Since my daughter is only a freshman, I was not aware of all the other sports that would be down there at the same time. I had originally booked with the Hampton Inn and Suites downtown Austin. However, after I booked I read […] that parking is $23/per day!!! That's ridiculous! Therefore, I cancelled that reservation and began searching. I wanted something that included breakfast. Drury Inn got good reviews so I booked it. The breakfast was much better than my daughter's at the Hyatt Place. She said they had nothing for breakfast. I took some stuff from the Drury and took it to UT for her to eat after her warm up. We had eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, bagels, made to order waffles, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee and juice, and more. We had 2 queen beds and a separate living space. It was clean and comfortable. Though there was wrestling, baseball, cheerleading, and other swim teams at the hotel, we never heard any nose. It was about 5 minutes from UT and right on 35. We never heard the traffic either. This hotel had the amenities we expected, and then some. Staff was extremely pleasant, and the proximity to some very nice restaurants within walking distance was an added perk.

"Austin Hotel Needs Elevator Service"
All went well for our stay, but the back elevator wasn't working when we arrived (Our room was in the back section), When we were ready to leave (1 day later) both the middle and back elevators were broke. The place has nice rooms, very clean, but no spare pillows or blankets in the clost. The snack meal would have been Great if you had kids. Plenty […] of Hot Dogs, Mac & Cheese, and Nachos. But for me, I was glad there was a Chili's Resraunt next door about 50 feet away. Breakfeast was Good, and over all price for the stay was well worth it. We would stay again on a future visit to Austin Location was at I-35 & Hwy 290. Pretty simple to get to if you check out Map Quest before your trip to know exacatlly where it is. Staff was A+,. "Stay Here"
It was my first visit to a Drury Inn and it was excellent. The staff was really nice and everything was as expected. Of course, the free breakfast and happy hour don't hurt either.
We stay at the Drury, when we go to Austin to watch our grandson play baseball for UT. We have been very satisfied with every thing, and plan to stay there in the spring. The Drury is close to Disch Falk Stadium. Breakfast is great.

"Austin hotel"
The hotel was clean and staff friendly. They had a really nice snack time time in the evening (as long as you weren't wanting health food). The room was very small. Fine for a one night stay, but not for much longer. The pool was very small, and strangely the lounge chairs were metal. Which didn't go over well in 108 degree August weather!

This was our second stay here, daughter going to UT. The rooms are great, staff always very friendly, but the savings on food can't be beat. Hot breakfast, popcorn & drinks in the afternoon, and the kickback from 5:30-7:00. "Cheap and convenient"
Overall pleasant stay, nice and friendly staff is always nice and the staff here didn't disappoint. I may have had a bad room but it was kind of dank and while non-smoking smelt somewhat of smoke.

We really enjoyed the hot breakfast and afternoon happy hour buffets, and they really add to the value of this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean and quiet. The neighborhood behind the hotel is not great, but access to the hotel is easy, with nice restaurants nearby. Great place to stay for the price!

The hotel staff were courteous and attentive to guest. The suite was very good and the king bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the hot breakfast as well as the evening menu item and happy hour. We had a most enjoyable experience. This is by far a great place to stay. We will definitely return when visiting the Austin area.
