Enjoyed stay overall, there was BOTH a Dance Team & School Rowing team staying at hotel that night. FIre Alarm got pulled and sometimes it was quite loud. Bed could have been a little more comfortable. The suite room, was terrific. Sink/fridge/counter, good size bathroom.

The staff was very helpful in making us comfortable. The heat was not working at first in our room so, until the maintenance could get there to fix it, they gave us a space heater from behind the desk to warm up our room. Great place to stay, I would recommend it for any family.

Exceptional desk staff--friendly and efficient. Rooms and hotel in general very nice. Not quite up to par with the 3.5-4 star ratings--bathrooms are older and nothing super special. Beds comfortable, amenaties excellent--pool and hot tub clean. Close to restaurants and such. Nice place.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice and had a good selection. Pool was small. Room was very clean. I would stay here again. We were racing at Grattan race way and it wasn't a terrible drive to the track. About a 1/2 or less.

The hotel is just a couple miles from the airport. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Complimentary breakfast in the morning offers a nice selection. Small indoor pool for swimming was a plus. Good for an overnight stay to the airport.

Great room, location and price...will definitely stay there again!

WHAT A GREAT HOTEL!! WE LOVED THE LOCATION, GREAT FOR OUR PETS. THE SPA TUB IN OUR ROOM WAS SO WONDERFUL AFTER WE DID OUR 5 MILE RUN EACH DAY. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!! BRAN AND KATE

My stay was very enjoyable. The location of the hotel was close to my meetings. Main reason for staying here. My room was clean and comfortable. I would prefer for the fitness room to have a couple more pieces of equipment - dumbells, exercise mat, spin bike. The hotel and staff was wonderful except the bed and pillows were hard as a brick (I like firm mattress). I woke up with a stiff neck, and there was a glaring halogen light outside our window, aimed right at the building. Our room was so bright we could read a book with the lights out. I took a chair and tried to smush it up against the curtains to […] keep the light from flooding in, but it didn't fix the problem. Very disappointing experience. It was a very nice hotel with a good breakfast and nice rooms. The pool was nice and warm and clean.

This is one of the nicest hotels we have visited. The location is very convenient for airport service and for restaurants and stores. The floor plan of our room was perfect. A kitchenette/bath area divided the bedroom area from a sitting area that provided couch, television, and even a little table for eating. The room and bed were nice, as I always associate with HIE, but there seemed to be no temperature control in the room or the hotel in general. The room was way too warm with no apparent way to turn the heat down or cool off the room. Likewise the heat in the building itself was very warm everywhere. I must say that I was impressed. It is by far the nicest place to stay near Grand Rapids and we will be staying there every time we are up in that area.

THe hotel was right off the main road so i could get to fun place fast and i didnt hear the highway. The room was ok. The tv had bad reception and the room was no smoking. The ice machine on my floor was broken so i had to hunt one down on the second floor. The room was narrow and i couldn't see the tv or hear the radio from the hot tub.
