Comfort Inn West - Asheville

Nice place to stay for the night. Staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Room was comfortable with larger bath room. Breakfast area was being remodel, but food was OK. Would stay again.

If you are looking for a clean place with comfortable beds convenient to Asheville and the surroundinge a area, then you should be satisfied. The staff was friendly and the breakfast had plenty of options to satisfy most people.

The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was more than a typical continental breakfast of just pastries. I might stay here again if I am ever in the area.

I was pretty satisfied with this hotel for the price. I stayed at this hotel for the outdoor swimming pool and the double queen bedroom. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable in staying there. I have stayed in better hotels but I would recommend this hotel.

It was very easy to get to from the interstate and so convient to walk to places to eat. everything was clean and check in was a breeze. Thank you for making it a great stay!

Downscale vibe. Blue collar, immigrant, bikes and tattoos crowd. God's children for sure, but I felt slightly ill-at-ease in this milieu. (I prefer the family / business weasel crowd.) That said, it turned out to be just fine - safe, clean, functional. Front desk and breakfast were good. I did not detect any of the funky smells mentioned in prior reviews, […] so it appears they have that problem licked. Service personnel were friendly and (more importantly) helpful. Bottom line: it was a fair value (quality/price), but personally I might spend a few extra bucks to stay at a different, newer property next time. When first we checked in an employee "in training" was "helping" us. The only problem with that is that he authorized my credit card for far more than just the incidentals and he wouldn't speak to us to tell us what was going on. Finally a more seasoned member of the staff took over checking us in. The night staff was FAR more knowledgeable and even […] put out breakfast early for us once they learned that our departure would be before the 6:30am breakfast bar was supposed to open. Close to all the sights but out of the way, sort of.

Good value for the money. Comfortable and convenient.

My only complaint would be the mattress was not overly comfortable, too soft. The staff was great, the service was great, the pool and all areas kept clean, the breakfast was good and sufficient, and staff were very helpful.
