Quality Inn - New Cumberland

My sheets were laden with hair and my bathroom was hardly clean. I was only there for two nights and only there to sleep and save commuting time. Needless to say based on the sheets and bathroom alone (everything else was par) I will not be back.

This hotel needs a facelift. Even with the age taken into consideration, the cleanliness of the public areas left a lot to be desired. The cleaning detail in the room could have been better. The furnishings were dated and not in the greatest condition.

Close to my conference. Bathroom plumbing was leaking. The leak was bad and I am surprised that they do not know. TV remote control had a back cover missing but I was not informed about it. I did not have time to tell them. They were reluctant to give us a room earlier even some rooms were ready. Finally, they did. I will not stay there again.

This hotel is in a serious state of disrepair, the exterior and interior spaces are shabby. There were only 2 bath towels in my room, for 4 people. The manager said he couldn't give us anymore because the hotel was fully booked for the evening. It wasn't, ours were the only cars in the parking lot all night.

Hotel was just ok! The room itself was not bad but it is a total motel opposed to a hotel. Expedia said is was 12 miles from Hershey and it was actually quite a bit further about a 25-30 min. drive. I wouldn't choose to stay here again!

When I got into the room the message light was blinking on the phone, the phone had been previously vandalized, and there were no instructions for retrieving the message. I called the front desk and was told that the message must have been for the previous renter and that she would turn off the message light. The light continued to flash during my 5 […] day stay at the hotel even though I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk at a later time. The television did not receive any of the channels that were listed, I did not inform the front desk of this because the issue with the message light left me with the feeling that they were inept and unwilling to help, I didn't come there to watch TV anyway. The pictures of the hotel on the website are very deceiving. We arrived at the hotel after a long day Hershey Park around midnight. The room is VERY outdated. The bed skirt was ripped and hanging on the ground, there was a stain on the old comforter as well as on the sheets. The hotel is definitely independently owned and operated.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, Never Again! I am surprised Quality Inn allows the operator to maintain their affiliation, this place was disgusting. I did not even bother with the free breakfast as I was concerned I would get sick.

The air conditioner leaked, there were stains on the carpet. The refridgerator was frozen up, and not working.There was mildew on the ironing board, and the room didn't smell well. The bathroom wasn't clean. The breakfast did not include anything for a diabetic.

No airconditioning. Gave us the keys to another room but still no air! Hotel was severely understaffed. You get what you pay for but we didn't even get that. Very sketchy as we were unsure if the first floor was even occupied. Rooms looked condemned. Find another room.

When we got there, there was one car in the parking lot, which scared us. We got our keys and took the elevator that smelled musty and felt like it might quit working on us. We then got to our room that the air conditioning was not working in. We went back downstairs and they did upgrade us to another room with a fridge and microwave, so the staff was […] accomodating. Once we got to the other side of the hotel where our new room was, it was significantly cooler. The hotel though smelled musty, had rotting ceiling tiles and was overall not a good place to stay. Our room though was ok. Everything was clean except for the shower curtain was beginning to get moldy, which I think that should be replaced at the first sight of mold. That was the most Ghetto Hotel I stood in, The room was dirty and dusty. The shower wall paper was pelling, and the rug was crazy faded..Never again, will not recomended. And the cleaning person lived in a room with the family, wow I was dying to come :(

Not the cleanest place...did check the mattress for bugs (as done in every hotel before we sleep on it) and it was bug free, which is a plus! the room itself wasn't bad cleanliness-wise but the hallway was dirty. We were probably the only guests in the whole place that night...it was very empty. We were put on the 3rd floor with a broken ice machine. […] Breakfast was complimentary in the morning, but the breakfast station was dirty so we only ate the prepackaged things as opposed to waffles, fruit, etc. That being said, we paid a very decent price for the night so it was a good deal and you get what you pay for. I was looking for an inexpensive, comfortable place in the Harrisburg, PA vicinity for a one night stay. The hotel was easy to find, comfortably close to the highway without being so close that you are distracted by highway traffic. In fact, the hotel is nicely setback from the road, so there are no noise issues. There is a smallish but nice swimming […] pool, exercise room, and a continental breakfast (with waffle maker) is available in the morning. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use some freshening up. My room was clean; however the carpet was noticeably worn as were the linens. The old CRT-style television was functional but unimpressive. The air conditioner functioned properly. There was a bit of mold in the bathroom on the ceiling, but not a substantial amount. The room did have a slightly dusty odor which was noticeable upon entering the room but faded fairly quickly. This may have been due to the close proximity to the swimming pool. Nearby are several restaurants, gas stations, and small stores. The restaurant also provided menus for local restaurants that will deliver, which was a welcome touch for a place without room service. While not great for an extended stay, the low cost, easy to find, and close to the highway hotel was a bargain. I would stay again if I were in the area. Ďalšie informácie

The staff was very nice and they tried to help, however the overall appearance of the hotel was just not nice. The fitness room was not equipped as it states on the website. The sheets smelled poorly and I would not stay here again.

it was dirty & the staff, even the front desk attendant, didn't speak english....our toilet didnt flush....they made us use a dirty room's bathroom across the hall....very upsetting.....i want my money back!!!!

I have stayed in hotels all over the world, and the cleaniless of this one rates among the worst. It was obvious the sheets and pillowcases on the bed had not been changed. When I asked for clean ones so I could change them I was given the wrong size, and when I eventually received the bottom fitted sheet it was not folded, and it was not obvious that […] it had been laundered. One of the towels had four large, greasy fingerprints on it, and some of the other towels and wash clothes had marks on them. After check-in the room key provided did not work. The clerk then assigned a different room and new keys. This room had not been cleaned and was filthy. The clerk then assigned a third room which appeared to be clean. The heavy black-out drapes were only for decoration and could not be moved over the actual window, leaving only the thin see-through […] curtain. The lights outside made it difficult to sleep. Thankfully the bed was comfortable. Shower temperature was fine, but water pressure was low due to a slightly broken shower head. No closet to hang clothes, only a bar with hangers attached to the wall. Continental breakfast was sparse but probably typical of a two star hotel. Accommodations were more than acceptable. Did have a bit of confusion regarding the early check in. Also when I called the hotel directly to request an early check in no one answered the phone. I called three times then had to call the 800 number for customer service.

We had several rooms and in my room the ac did not come on until morning. Not enough towels which were very cheap and only one wash cloth. Shower curtain was dirty and old. Bedspread was old and ugly. The freezer in fridge had completely frozen solid and was not clean. We don't expected five star quality in a two-star hotel but a few hundred dollar […] in cleanliness and better towels, sheets and shower curtains will go a long way in this hotel. I travel all over the country doing construction work so I have a good grasp on what a hotel should be and this was not it. I had my wife with me so I decided to move up the scale to something a little better. From the start the pictures were inaccurate. Urine on the toilet. Water in the tub. The bed looked like it was slept in. The towels looked used. […] The remote did not work. The one didn't either and the desk clerk when told about it all thought it was humorous! You will be fortunate to ever see me set foot in another of your hotels in the rest of my lifetime. I can handle most things without getting upset as long as I don't have to listen to my wife complain about evrything that the hotel has done wrong. The hotel was pretty much clean however when I got to the room there was no showerhead on the the shower. There was a huge crack in the wall and when I called to notify them of the showerhead they said they would call me back and didn't. I had to call them the next morning. Only issue I had with this hotel was that the room only had 2 towels and when I asked for more I was told there were no more available. I also went with 2 other groups and one of the others did not have a shower head on their shower. Other than those 2 issues it was quite pleasant.

Good location to all softball fields in the area. Beds comfortable and hotel quiet. Pool not clean, We were given enough towels and had to request more daily. Requested non-smoking room, but was booked in smoking room and had to request room change. Staff friendly.

We recently stayed here as our hotel for a Hersheypark weekend. Hotel was clean and cozy. Room was on the third floor which had an interior corridor which is a plus in my book. First two floors have exterior entries. Breakfast was included and just right. A direct ruote to hershey and only twenty minutes away, and for the price I will stay again.
