Hotel was no where being at a full capacity yet we were given a room right next to the elevator. Coffee pot was less then 3 feet away from Toilet bowl. Fecal matter is air born and that coffee pot is there 24/7. Also the styrofoam cups are right next to it, YUCH! Gap under room entrance door was over one inch. I could actually put my camera to it and […] take a picture of the other side. Windows have no vent to get fresh air into room. Next time it will be El D, Legacy or Circus. We were there 3 days. Very old. Still has tube TVs. Hotel is ok, but charges for EVERYTHING. They charge for wi-fi, water, and even the gym. The rooms are really small.

Our stay was pleasant, the only things we did not like we're as follows. The water presume in the shower sucked. You would be taking your shower and the water would go off then come back on a minute or so later very inconvienent. The maid service left some to be desired. We stayed 1week and my room never was dusted. They never changed the bedding even […] though we left a message to do so. Other then these 2 things the stay was pretty good and yes we would stay again. one more message to the casino, they need to watch their floors as there were vagrants walking around the floor and would come up to you and ask for money, made us very Leary about gambling there. The room they put us in was not touched by the maid. Had to wait 20 minutes for them to put us in a new room. Once in the new room, the heater was on high and took almost an hour to cool it down. Still a little warm for my comfort though. At check out, they tried to charge us for 6 dollar bottled water and coffee. Explained to the man that we did not […] use the items in our room. He gave a slight attitude and said he would send someone up to the room to confirm. Another 20 minute wait... Had a blast Harrah's is located dead center of downtown Reno and everything else is near by. Restaurants, StripClubs, and other Casinos are a Stones throw away. Highly recommend that any going to Reno stays at Harrah's.

Great Hotel, friendly, neat and nice room.

Hotel was nice. Service very good. The Steak House was unbelievable. Great Food, great service. I would come here even if I stayed elsewhere.

The Hotel was very nice, it is sad to say that down town Reno is clearly not doing very well, one can only hope that things improve soon or I fear an icon will be lost.I think that all the resorts need to look to Circus Circus & Grand Serria for the future.

The hotel staff is very friendly helped us with everything from parking to loading and unloading of luggage, also let us know the best time to leave to beat the snow storm. great place to stay.

we enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean we were in walking distance to the things we wanted too do. The pool was closed & they don't have a hot tub, In the spa they have singe bath tubs & they call that hot tubs. that was disapointing.

Unfortunately I had to leave a day early because of a skiing accident BUT my complaint has nothing to do regarding my condition. I was on the 19th floor West Tower. The air quality was considered dangerous. It was a gaseous smell that was nausiating and I strongly believe very dangerous especially talking with other patrons. Very nice hotel rooms. This is an excellent stopover location if you are taking Amtrak. The hotel also includes a free shuttle to the airport. The hotel is a short walk to the Truckee river which is good for walking and running. Good room for a reasonable price. We were only there for one night on our way to Las Vegas. The room was clean but a bit on the small side but OK for a short stay. Won at Blackjack so how could it be a bad stay! Would recommend to others.

Harrah's in Reno is starting to get old, but we were comfortable there. Hotels.com booked us in the East Tower but when we arrived they moved us to the West Tower due to capacity reasons, which was actually an upgrade apparently. The West Tower is newer, I was told. I don't know how the service is on busy week ends, but mid-week stays are great. Good prompt service, location near I-80 makes it convenient to come and go, and the rooms are always neat and clean.

I have stayed here often in the past few years. Stayed mainly because it was close to the Amtrak station as I used the train. But I also use the Internet extensively and there is a $10.95 per day charge for this. If I stay 3 days I can pay for the Taxi to other hotels that charge nothing for this service.

I pciked this hotel since I saw it had 4 star and also pet friendly. We checked on a Saturday and when we arrived we did not get a King bed as requested instead a two double bed. Also the room was so small I fel like the wall would cave in. Also the pet friendly room stank and there was no way of opening a vent to air the room. Heater fan in the room […] would go on continously and this did not help trying to get a good sleep. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. While the hotel was nice, we stuck with a smoking room and no matter how hard you try you can get the smoke out of the mattress... I usually stay at either one of the 3 connected hotels in Downtown Reno, depending on the accompanying group; if it includes kids, we stay at the CC, if only grown ups at the SL or if its old folk at the ED. This time it was only supposed to be for Saturday night and the big 3 apparently don't give you Saturday only, during a holiday weekend; so we […] reserved at this hotel. Later, as it happens often with our group, the plan changed and we extended to Friday as well, but by that time the others were sold out, so we just added the day to out booking here. I really was pleased with the comfort of the room, but the furniture was very dusty as we arrived. We noticed it easily, not because we're checking for it, but because my wife suffers from allergies and has an immediate reaction to dusty environments. We assumed that the condition was due to the room having been unoccupied during most of the week, but the condition did not change in the 3 days that we spent there; the room gets linens and towels changed, the bathroom cleaned and the bed made, but they don't do any dusting or cleaning in the sleeping area. I even looked around for any construction or remodeling activity, to justify the dust; but couldn't find any. It's a good thing we got this room at such a low price. This place charges for water and coffee. The heater smelled like anti freeze was leaking in a car or something, smelled pretty bad!

Clean room and comfortable bed... though the view from the West Tower looking north wasn't much to look at. Check-in was painless though they said I booked one of the rooms with a single bed rather than two, which was incorrect. Based on what I paid for the rooms, the value was very, very good.
