we were there for the last night at Montreal; very convenient because they won't charge for parking and because was feet away from the Raddison metro station, with a short commute to downtown. The room was in the small side, especially the bathroom; we can't complain about the cleanliness but we were expecting two queen beds and we got two double ones, […] for a family of four, kind of uncomfortable. Overall, for a short stay it was good, but after having spent days in a downtown hotel, you would feel the difference even though the price wasn't that lower than the downtown hotel. "Suited our requirements"
We looked for a place with free parking and a metro station nearby. It turned out to be across the street.. They were just redoing the roof so at 7 in the morning it sounded like all hell had broken lose above us. No warning of this and on the whole not a disaster but a great way for a hotel to loose customers.

I have stayed here several times. Unlike hotels at these prices in the center of town, this is modern and comfortable. Rooms seem to be pretty soundproof. Unlike all those others, parking is ample and free. The Metro is at the door and the ride to downtown is not that long. There is a huge shopping mall a block away, with many dining options. Many restaurants […] a short drive away on Sherbrooke. Outdoor swimming pool. Drawbacks: Local phone calls cost about $.50, and you may have to ask twice for your phone line to be opened, or for the correct wireless Internet password -- but when you finally get it it the Internet works quite well. The staying at the Auberge was pleasant, but the SMELL IN THE ROOM 264 WAS TERRIBLE..TERRIBLE...we informed the front desk and they will look into it. This Auberge wsa centered of all area we needed to go to and attand. On an average of 10 we are coding it to 7.5 Thank you

WE found the metro next door to be very convient. We didn't have to pay for parking which was also nice.
"Cost Effective and Clean"
Travelled to Montreal on business last minute and couldn't get a hotel downtown. The Auberge Royal Versailles was about a 25 minute drive downtown at around 7 am. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Overall worked well for my stay.
Excellent localization, near to metro station, shopping mall and supermarket. Very clean and comfortable. Big rooms.

"Okay for the price"
This was a last minute booking for Osheaga. But it was located 20mins away from everything on the metro which was right across the street. A cab from downtown was 20 canadian dollars but only had to take a cab twice. The staff was very sweet. Had to wait to 3 to check in but it was understandable because check out was at noon. "Very pleasant stay."
Contrary to all the reviews I read before visiting this hotel, we enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean, comfortable and quite well priced. We had a peaceful, quiet sleep and the concierge were very nice and helpful too. We would definetly stay again!

"3rd great stay"
Stayed here for the 3rd time since 2007 - great, as always. Nice, clean room, well kept up, friendly staff, many food choices at the restaurant. Great location - subway station is across the street, a large mall is one block away.

We got in at 12:30 AM - so i am sure they didnt have thier best working the desk. The place was pretty shabby, hair in the sinks. The only way to make it better was to close your eyes and go to sleep.

"Very happy with stay"
Free, safe parking. Hotel is right beside metro and is across the street from a large mall. Hotel and room were clean; air conditioner was great. Bathroom was a bit small, but was fine. Breakfast was not included, the cost was $16/person. The hotel is about 35 minutes by metro from the downtown. ""Shabby""
he word I would use is "shabby". Just clean enough to be bearable, but stains all over the carpet, worn furniture & bedcovers. Nothing to recommend it. It was cheaper than other hotels, had a free parking lot, and next to a metro stop - all pluses. However, we would never ever stay there again.

"Good value"
The location was convenient. While it's on the outskirts of the city, it is located immediately next to the metro which made it super easy to get every where we wanted to go. The room was comfortable and clean, but we didn't spend much time there. It would have been nice to visit the pool, but it was too cold.

This was my 2nd stay at that hotel. The first one was great, but this time was different. First, there was a lot of groups staying at the hotel that were very loud in the corridors, whether it was teenagers on a school trip or adults. Second, there is no wireless signal for internet in room 201. And the prices were double compared to my first stay a […] month ago. Other than that, the hotel is very well located, near freeways north-south and east-west, close to a tunnel to cross the St Laurent, so easy access. There is a subway station very close to the hotel. Nous étions 4 dans la chambre et assez confortable étant donné les circonstances de notre voyage (funérailles). Personnel chaleureux et accueillant. Un peu loin du vieux Montréal par contre. Qualité/prix excellent.

Hotel très propre, chambre bien équipée. Un seul bémol: les murs sont minces et j'ai entendu mon voisin de chambre jouer avec son petit fils et s'exclamer jusque tard dans la soirée. Vraiment décu... Lorsqu'on arrive dans le hall d'entrée on s'attend a avoir une chambre sympa et moderne... quelle décéption une fois dans la chambre, 2 lits de 120 cm (pas tres pratique pour un jeune couple) le plafond et les murs mériteraient vraiment qu'on rebouche les trous et qu'on mette un coup de peinture, la salle de bain etait d'une propreté […] douteuse (on a retrouvé des poils et des cheveux) et la fenetre donne directement sur la centrale éléctrique à 5m de la et qui fait beaucoup de bruit nuit et jour, nous sommes restés 3 nuits et on a tout fait pour passer le moins de temps possible dans la chambre. c'etait certainement le pire hotel de notre sejour au quebec...
