The room smelled like dirty socks and mold. The hallway had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. The light switches were sticky and, by the way, installed upside down. I was required to put a $50 deposit on my credit card for "to make sure there was no damage or extra charges." We enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The hotel is well maintained and conveniently located to all of the surrounding stores. We made use of the pool which was quite nice and also very clean. The only gripe I had was that the pool was advertised to open at 10am and was still being cleaned up until 10:30am. This was a nice hotel. The staff was very helpful when i arrived we was placed in a smoking room. i was not asked when booking the room by phone at hotel.com. The staff quickly moved us to a non smoking room. I was very upset because a couple above us fought ALL NIGHT LONG, IF MY KIDS WEREN'T WITH ME I WOULD HAD LEFT THE HOTEL. My stay at Ramadan was very satisfying for my family an I. We were there doing hurricane Irene an you could not ask for a better place to be. Everyone I came in contact with was very considered of the guests need. Everything was fair from the room all the way to the restaurant. It is conveniently located.
