My son LOVED that we had two TV's in the room and he could close off the bedroom door and spend some alone time in the living room. The rooms themselves could use some updating and deep cleaning. The manager's reception includes goldfish, chips, and pita chips as well as a hosted bar (if you want to wait in a long line with kids running around). The breakfast is extensive, but again there are lines and lots of kids...it's pretty chaotic. They have a game room (with pool tables), a business center, and a pool. If we had used all the amenities and particpated in the manager's reception it might have been worht the money. I think we'll look at other options for our next trip. The staff here really went above and beyond. The gentleman who delivered our room service on day #1 remembered us on day #2 and brought extra milk for the baby. When our toddler got scared by one of the wait staff in the lobby, and the guy went and bought him AND his brother a candy bar in the gift shop. I travel a lot for business, but I’ve honestly never stayed in hotel where the staff was across the board as helpful as this place. Room was clean, spacious and amenities were as advertised. A couple of maintenance calls were made (e.g. heating not working) but were promptly fixed. "close to PG and other sights"
Made it just in time before happy hour ended at 7:30. Breakfast was great and waiting for our cooked to order omelette didn't take too long considering it was a Sunday. Atrium, pond and waterfall was very nice. Noise from other room guests from wedding at 2am was annoying, but not the hotels fault. Overall, would return.Autentické hodnotenie hosťa Hotels.com

The maid did not provide towels or clean our room well. She said she would come back later with new towels because she was out although she seemed to have plenty on her cart. She also did not remove the trash from our room. One night late, the hotel management came banging on our door. We have a newborn baby and three year old who were sound asleep. […] They claimed there was a complaint of smoking coming from our room? When I explained we had babies sleeping, as well as me trying to sleep, they apologized and said there must be some kind of mistake. I'll say! Usually we have nice stays at the Embassy, but this one was not a good experience. Whoever is in charge of this location is not doing a good job! "relaxing getaway"
The staff at the Hotel really was the best staff we had ever. starting with the check in we felt important. the staff got us a limo to downtown and offered to pick us up if we wanted. dinner at the hotel great, drinks were great. The bed was very nice.Autentické hodnotenie hosťa Hotels.com

"Great base for a family visiting Monterey"
This hotel worked out very well for a family trip to Monterey. It was great having a separate bedroom and living area. We used the pool and had breakfast there. My 4-year-old son loved the atrium and the stream with turtles and the glass elevators. It was a short drive to the aquarium. "Unbelievable first half hour"
Well, we arrive, no one was available to greet us. We went inside and not luggage carriers to help. I asked somebody to help us but then disappeared without any word. The registrar was busy and told us to wait (but there were others in the adjacent room and he did not call them to help us). They could not find a room for us though we had pre-booked. […] After a while they tracked one down but we found it occupied when we went to the room. Finally got another room and the mirror closet door fell on me. We also thought the food at the restaurants was just mediocre. We did get free internet service and two free movie rentals to try to make up for some of the problems. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The morning breakfast was very good. You get a lot of variety of food choices at the buffet, which is very fresh. The suite is extremely roomy. Loved the in-door pool and hot tub spa area. We rate the beds as very comfortable. We plan to stay at the Embassy Suites Monterey Bay again. We highly recommend this hotel […] to others.
