"Great hotel, beautiful beach"
I picked this hotel because of its location to the beach and the large kitchenette in the suite. I have stayed there once before. The staff was great. The one thing that disappointed me was the new $15 per day parking fee. This is new and wasn't in place the last time I stayed there.

The rooms needed some Maintenance TLC to get them up to par with the rates. The pool and beach make up for most any complaints. The Staff were excellent in meeting our every need.

An aging hotel. . .room and overstuffed furniture was very musty smelling. . sofabed was old, lumpy, and in need of replacement. Should not have a four star rating. Poolside bar closed very early. On the positive, staff were friendly and accomodating.

even though the rooms in the tower are newer and nicer, you absolutely cannot beat the location if you can get a bottom floor room near the pool. 3rd time there and would return.

Old Hotel, Poorly Maintained, Over-Priced, Less Than Motivated Staff. Although the location on the beach is nice, it can't overcome the bad facilities and staff. Naples has a variety of hotels to choose from, don't choose this one.
"Family stay with 2 kids, age 2 & 4"
The hotel worked out for us quite nicely. We travelled with 2 small children and all we really wanted was some down time on the beach and a pool. There is a reasonable fee for beach umbrella rentals, but chairs are free. Staff was friendly, rooms were newer and very clean. The suite we stayed in had a full size fridge, microwave and some basic dishes. […] It was perfect for snacks, breakfast, lunch and easy dinners for kids. We stocked up at a Whole Foods before our arrival with some favorites and that made most meals easy with the children. We did order from Coast Restaurant within the hotel a few times, it was ok, not great but the convenience of being able to get food up to the room was that trade off. It also wasn't inexpensive for what you got. We typically wanted to be outside around dinner time, therefore we were working with what was available to us. Next time, we would either leave the hotel to eat, or order in from local restaurants. We did see many people were doing just that. Overall, the experience was very good. A mellow hotel without the craziness of many kids (think Orlando) and drunk spring breakers (think Miami-South Beach). We would return but next time, I don't know if we would pay more for the Gulf View Suite. We didn't spend much time in the room and being poolside or at the beach was where we were most of the time. The view was beautiful, but not something you couldn't see from the ground level. I highly recommend this hotel. Great location, right on the beach with two pools and very impressive breakfast is included. The rooms are suites which can accomodate a family of 4 comfortably. I would definately stay here again.

"Fantastic staff and beach save this hotel"
My friend and I just returned from a long weekend at the Edgewater. We booked a beachfront 2 bedroom suite and about a week before our stay, I requested a room on an upper floor -- anything but ground level. When we arrived, we were indeed placed in the ground floor room, which was disappointing and very much like a beach front basement. The room was […] dark and shabby with stains on the upholstery and on the walls, a dirty floor and broken sliding glass door. As it is almost directly on the beach, it has very little privacy. Thankfully, we only had one night there, before we could move to a room on an upper floor -- 328. This room was still pretty shabby...old dirty couches that we had to cover with sheets before sitting on them, and another broken sliding glass door that needed to be fixed twice during our stay and a general worn, stained look. I heard from other guests that the renovated rooms in the tower are great, but they are gulf view -- not beachfront. If it weren't for the incredible view, beautiful private beach, and nice staff, I would have looked elsewhere. Eric, at the beach, was particularly awesome. He was really thoughtful and friendly, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone work so hard, all day long in 90 degree heat. Aside from the room conditions, we had a perfectly relaxing stay and wished we had stayed at least one night longer. All in all, I plan to return, maybe checking out the Gulf View rooms next time. the hotel was good and nice the only hting we did not like we had requested a room with 2 queen bed and all the had was a 1 bed room . it was kind of inconvinient for us .

Beachfron room needed renovation. Seals in some windows have gone, leaving fogged windows and sliding door to balcony needs muscles to get it to move

It's GREAT!!! beautifull hotel and excellent location. Many shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and everything you need is close. The best of all you can do your shopping outside and enjoy more the hotel. But CAREFULL: the inside restaurant and the pool-tiki bar are expensive, EXTREME!!!! Go outside! Everithing is so close and more than good.

Nice amenities, beach right there, big pool, seperate kiddy pool. Tiki bar pool side and decent food. Location was on the beach and a short drive ot whatever you want. I will be back.

Hôtel de bon standing, de plein pied sur une magnifique plage. Le personnel est sympatique. Les environs de l'hôtel sont très agréables et Naples un endroit où il fait bon vivre. Seul bémol et de taille : des chambres à la propreté douteuse et des lits qui pourraient être plus confortables.
Très bel hôtel. Chambre très grande et très confortable. Il y avait une cuisine dans la chambre, vous pouvez donc soit aller au restaurant, soit manger dans la chambre. Un accès direct à la plage et également deux piscine, dont un plus petite pour les enfants.

"Bad i Naples"
Ett äldre men fint Hotell i ett riktigt bra läge. Ligger direkt på en fin och långstrand. Extremt vänlig personal. Nära till Coastland Mall och bra restauranger. Naples är lugnt och trevligt. För den som vill ut på club är kanske Ft Lauderdale eller Miami att föredra.

Wir hatten eine 2-Bedroom-Suite zu einem sehr guten Preis gebucht und erhielten eine Penthouse Suite mit grosser Terrasse mit direkter Meersicht: ein wunderschönes modernes Zimmer mit allem, was man sich wünscht. Das Hotel hat einen sehr schönen Strand (Strandschirme sind nicht inbegriffen), eine Pool-Bar und ein eigenes Restaurant, das gute Küche anbietet. […] Das schönste Hotel unserer Florida-Reise! "traumhafte Lage, aber Zimmer kein 4 Sterne Niveau"
Die lage des Hotels ist herrlich-ein Hotel am Meer ist in Naples ja sehr selten und das lässt es sich das Hotel auch kosten. Allerdings ist das Zimmer ( Edgewater Suite) mehr als renovierungsbedürftig. Nie ein 4 Sterne Niveau- der Spannteppich im Schlafraum war teilweise schwarz vor Schmutz und auch der Teppich im Wohnzimmer hat schon besserer Tage […] erlebt. Auch das Bad müsste general saniert werden-war zwar sauber, aber der Duschkopf aus dem vor vorigen Jahrhundert-die Zimmermädchen hatten es dann auch sonst nicht so mit der Sauberkeit-schade-das essen ist gut-aber mit Hunger sollte man nichts bestellen -Wartezeiten für Dinner bis zu 40 Minuten -Roomservice fast 2 Stunden -allerdings gab es als Entschuldigung eine Flasche Wein. Servicepersonal freundlich-beim nächsten Aufenthalt würde ich auf ein anderes Zimmer, ohne Spannteppich oder mit sauberen Boden bestehen. Ďalšie informácie

Wir belegten eine schöne Tower-Suite, welche uns sehr gefiel. Sie bot genügend Platz (2 Erwachsene und 1 Kleinkind). Wir genossen eine wunderbare Aussicht auf den Golf von Mexiko. "Eine Perle"
Mal endlich ein Hotel, bei dem alles passt.
L'année dernière nous étions déjà venu dans cet hotel et nous avions une suite dans l'enceinte principale de l'hotel et il n'y avait rien à dire, tout était parfait. Cette année nous avons eu une suite dans un des batiments qui longe les piscines et là quelle déception, la chambre était très sale (chaussette sale et paquet de chips vide sous le lit […] oubliés par les précedents occupants), évier de la cuisine sale et table de la salle à manger non néttoyée. Dans la salle de bain, le porte savon était cassée. C'est tout à fait dommage car cet hotel jouit d'un emplacement exceptionnel et les piscines sont très belles et agréables. Seul point positif, le petit déjeuner était gratuit contrairement à l'année dernière mais parallèlement les parasols en bord de mer sont devenus payants !!!!! très bien situe dans Naples et sur la plage Sunset formidable tous les soirs mieux qu'à key West Personnel très moyennement gentil.. Petit déjeuner réduit a sa plus simple expression Wifi payant tres cher (par jour) scandaleux .!!!! Par contre les suites sont super 100m2 environ Il est possible d'y manger dedans ou dehors ,cuisine totalement équipée […] ... Comme a la maison...sauf que le ménage et la vaisselle c pas moi! On en a expérimenté 2 : une dans la tour l'autre au bord de la piscine.... idem Pour celle de la piscine , elle avait un accès arrière qui nous permettait d' accéder a la voiture rapidement qui de plus pouvait être a l ombre dans le garage Donc au global très bon hôtel à retenir Ďalšie informácie
