This was a great hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms , friendly staff, and an fabulous breakfast. We were in boston for a very specific reason and it served it well. this hotel is just ok. There is a major highway in front of the building that is not easy to get onto. the air conditioner was loud and there was a smoke smell in the room.

Outside of Boston downtown but shuttle service was amazing and the drivers very helpful with information as was the hotel staff.restaurants on hotel side of the street were ok but you couldnt cross the street to check out the restaurants there and there were many!!Hotel was clean staff friendly had a great sleep with an excellent breakfast!!!The shuttle […] took us where we needed to go and the weather was great!!!! Hotel Keyed for one night instead of two, so when I went to enter through the back entrance, in the middle of a rainstorm, I couldn't do it. Had to walk entirely around the hotel to get in. And just a ....sorry 'bout that explanation.

I stayed at this hotel for a girls getaway. We checked in later in the afternoon, as we were sitting talking the ceiling began to leak. I called the front desk. The gentleman put me on hold, and came back a few minutes later to tell me that he spoke with maintenance and they said my room is not leaking....When we checked out the next morning, I told […] the front desk clerk, he proceeded to tell another gentleman behind the desk w/him about my leaking ceiling and then said my checkout was complete and have a nice day! Kind of funny to be dismissed as I was seeing in the room was a paper that said extremely important that if there were any issues to contact the GM of the property before leaving so that any issues could be taken care of...yet nobody seemed to care that the room was leaking. They didn't ask if the carpet was wet? Or for that matter if anything of ours was ruined...nope just that maintenance had said my room was not leaking...well if maintenance is not in my room then how do they know weather my ceiling is leaking or not? Not impressed. Should have picked up that they don't care to much about the property when we entered the building and there was trash outside the entrance on the ground.. The corridors smelled badly of cigarettes but the room was ok. The entrance is a bit rough off the road, very busy street, not a very clear entrance. Check out was very fast and convenient. Parking risked getting your car pelted with pigeon poo. On the other hand, it was inexpensive and did serve a free breakfast. So no complaints.

Arrived late and thesuttle driver took me to a local chinese eatery and then gave me his personal cell number for pick up. The manager gave me a late checkout and and was helpful with directions. Way to go HI Express!

This is one of my favorite hotels the staff is very friendly the breakfast is awsome and the rooms are nice I always stay here now whenever I have anything to do in the boston area its now my second home

The location isn't great. The mattress is uncomfortable and the elevators are a scary ride.

The only negative part of our experience was booking our room through the internet. The info I read on line (and was told via the phone) about "free parking" was misleading. Thank you to the hotel management for being understanding and waving the 3 nights charges. Next time I will book directly through the hotel.

The only inconvenience is that you need a shuttle to the metro station, but is free and run every hour. The hotel is very nice including peoiple and breakfast

Ordinary hotel service, not much variety in breakfast. Rooms are small, bathroos are too small.

Located on a very busy dividied highway - noisy and dusty. Most certainly not scenic. Convenient to lots of stores and restautants provided you are provided to drive there, even for those across the street.

Not a bad hotel for staying one night, but I would choose an other hotel if I were staying longer.

Only 10 miles away from downtown - no traffic. Tol is 1$ only. Free breakfast - free wifi (although it's annoying that you gave to punch in the Password every time on your smart phone). Clean rooms, clean hotel. Would go back.

We were very pleased with Hotel. The Courtesy Bus was great and totally made up for the distance from the Airport and the drivers were very friendly and helpful, even dropping and collecting us from train station at Airport when we were going into the City. Breakfast was very good too.

We first thought this hotel was some distance away but with their shuttle service this made the stay very pleasurable. The shuutle took you to the airport or train station which then connected you to commuter rail to Boston Central this was so easy. We stayed here 4 nights. A great hotel, staff were very friendly and the room we had was very nice. There isn't anything we could complain about. The hotel staff were helpful and went out of their way sometimes to help. The room we had was on the first floor backing on to the car parking but it was quiet which was great for a good nights sleep. The […] bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. There was always plenty to eat at breakfast and a good variety to. We used the shuttle bus every day and never had a problem. We booked our place the evening before and rang them to pick us up when we wanted to come back and the system works really well. Only once did we wait 20 minutes for it to come and that was because we didn't have a cell phone and had to wait until we got back to the train station to call them. All the drivers were helpful and nice. To some the whole journey might be an inconvenience but for us it was really useful and a really cheap way to get to where you wanted to be. We bought a day pass each day at the train station and that meant we had free use of the subway and buses as well. Compared to hotels in Boston and what they offer you get a really great deal at this hotel. More to spend on the things you want to see/do/buy. Ďalšie informácie

This hotel was overpriced for a stay of 8 hours. They charged $20 extra to park my car for 4 days. They said I should have booked directly with them for a better deal!

We enjoyed our time at this hotel, despite a few initial booking problems regarding a rollaway bed. But the service was great, and although we were away from the city, the shuttle bus to Airport station or silver line bus at airport was great. Public transport is so easy to use in Boston! The hotel staff was awful!!! I had no towels, printer in lobby did not work, shuttle was crowded and late. Worst of all the staff could not have cared less, and even started blaming each other for the bad service. Also this is not an airport hotel. It is a 30 min drive with light to med traffic and 15min without.

This hotel is not as close to the airport as I had hoped, but the airport shuttle is handy. My room was clean and the staff were professional. It's not the Ritz, but I would stay there again without hesitation.

This hotel has a shuttle service to and from Logan airport it is perfect when you are flying.

Ive stayed at this hotel over a dozen times in the past year - never with a problem until today. Frequently, I book the room in my wifes name, and use my credit card to pay, as we often arrive separately. Since the room is pre-paid, my wife usually checks in ahead of time and I join her later. This time however, we were given a hard time by the hotel […] manager, who insisted either on 50 dollars cash, up front, or an additional credit card, from my wife, to cover "incidentals" otherwise shed be forced to wait in the lobby, unable to check in until I arrived. After arguing with the manager by phone for 30 minutes he relented and agreed to take MY credit card info over the phone and allow her to check in. When arrived at the hotel 45 minutes later, I was somewhat dismayed to see my credit card number on the front desk, in plain sight, on a post it note - with the manager no where in sight. One of the other staff gave the post it to me, without confirming who I was. Certianly NOT the type of service I exepect from Holoday Inn. Ultimately the manager came out of his office -insisted on viewing my ID for my credit card - which is a violation of the Visa merchant agreement. This was my final stay at a Holiday Inn - ever. The Hotel was fine, but I wasn't able to get a non-smoking room and had to deal with the smell of smoke all night. It was so bad the I had to spray some of my axe body spray to cover it up somewhat.

The hotel rooms are very tastefully decorated and comfortable (bed a real plus). The drive to Logan airport is 15 minutes with light traffic, so is a good option for this. Downtown Boston is about 25 minutes by car. The Saugus Highway 1 strip mall surroundings are not inspiring. I went for a family trip to Boston at the last minute. The town of this hotel was recommended to me. The pro's & con's. The Pro's, Parking was free in a nice size lot.. Lobby and breakfast were nice. Many places to eat & shop near hotel. There is a mall 5 min away. The hotel had a shuttle service to the airport. From the airport you can take the subway […] to downtown in 10 minutes. If you did not want to park your car for $35 everytime you go to downtown. This was the way to go. The hotel price was great compared to downtown. The con''s. The only room's available were smoking. Most hotel's I have stayed in the past, that only had smoking rooms left were never this bad. The whole floor smelled from old cigarette smell. The rooms were no better. Rooms could be larger, but large enough with one desk and one table. Wireless access didn't work well from 4th floor. They had a scale to weight our luggage. Very good breakfast. Large hallways. 20 min to airport with free shuttles.

The free shuttle service to the train/subway to Boston is great. The hotel accomodations and breakfast buffet are also very good would definitely go back again

Basically stayed there to sleep and eat breakfast because we were gone most of the day visiting as many attractions as we could. The room was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable. Maybe the only concern about the room was the fact that the sink was outside the bathroom. We didn't drive to much, but the surrounding area was a little challenging to […] get anywhere b/c the hotel is located on a one-way highway...to make a left turn you have to exit the highway and turn around. Breakfast had enough variety to fill us up and the eggs tasted good every morning. My girlfriend thought there wasn't enough fruit, though. Seating fills up quickly too. We took the shuttle to the airport every morning....takes about 20 minutes to get there. We made our appointment a day in advance & got a seat on the shuttle every time. No problems at all. However, getting picked up was a different story. Had problems on two nights with the shuttle not being there when the people at the front desk said it would be. Both nights we waited for 45 minutes to an hour after the front desk person said "it will be there in 15 minutes". On the 3rd night, I called them 30 minutes before we planned to arrive back at the airport and met the shuttle right on time. I stayed in the hotel for a night because I needed to wait for a connecting flight early next morning. The shuttle took a while to come. I waited for more than 20 minutes. The hotel was also farther than most other airport hotels. It took about 20 minutes to get there by shuttle. The staff were not very helpful too...

Hotel & room were great, very clean and comfortable. Only problem was the shuttle service. It took us 70 minutes to get back to the hotel from the "T" station at the airport. We called for pickup at 11:30pm and didn't get back to the hotel until 12:40am. If you're planning on visiting Boston for vacation, I'd recommend staying in the city!!

We came to Boston for a 6-day vacation to see all the sights. This hotel was more reasonably priced than many others and the rooms were nice and comfortable but in the end it really was too far away. They have a courtesy shuttle but it does not run continuously - we always had to call for it to come which meant waiting at the T station 20 - 25 minutes. […] In the mornings the shuttle would only take you "on the hour". Because of the distance and the slow shuttle service, we would leave the room in the morning and not return until the end of the evening. It would have been nice to be able to come back to the hotel at times but it just wasn't worth the time it would take. It took no less than 20 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport.
