An attractive little town, Jerez is famous for sherry (a corruption of its name) and its equestrian school. Several bodegas invite visitors to see how sherry is made. The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art is open to the public daily to watch training, with a show every Thursday. The big annual event is the Spring Horse Fair where the mounted sherry barons are prominent. Also see the 11th-century walls of the old Moorish palace.

This property must have been gorgeous when it was built. Unfortunately, and unlike the Barcelo chain in general, it has not been maintained. There was numerous peeling paint, leaky faucets, broken swimming pool and doors crooked on their hinges. All the staff with the exception of the front desk staff was excellent and helpful. "Recommended"
While the room itself was not top-notch, the hotel itself had everything one might ever need - 2 large pools with plenty of chairs, spa, golf, tennis, restaurant, etc, etc. The service was good as well and, together with all the amentities, made our stay very enjoyable.

Located about 10 minutes from downtown Jerez, this beautiful hotel is nestled on a hill overlooking Jerez de la Frontera in the distance. Excellent service and a beautiful restaurant and patio. Pure R&R.
