Stayed for a night and moved to a more expensivbe hotel in Downtown area. Honestly, La Quinta is a lot worth staying than the other hotel. The parking is free and safe, while we have to pay a lot on the other one. The price is reasonable and more than 100% cheaper. It is close to Graceland. The free breakfast is good. It is only 5 miles to Beale St. […] We spent more time at Graceland than Beale st, so we should have stayed the 2nd night at La Quinta. "Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean rooms"
I had an excellent stay at La Quinta in Memphis. I happened to arrive at the hotel right behind a group of nine workmen, but the efficient front-desk clerk managed to check all ten of us in within about 20 minutes. When I asked to be on an upper floor, she gave me a room on the top floor. The room was larger than average, the bed was very comfortable, […] and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. "Better Than Expected"
My wife and I came to town for a family funeral. The hotel was in the center of many of the places I was going to attend. The surrounding area is not that great, but we did not feel uncomfortable at all. The parking lot is secured with a gate for protection of your car. Our room and the room of my mother did not have any towels when we arrived. Housekeeping […] apparently left suddenly without finishing. The front desk however was very prompt with replacement towels as well as apologetic. They were also very helpful with questions about the area and destinations. "The Hotel in Memphis-close to Graceland"
The Hotel Clerks were so polite and helpful. Whatever we needed, they were always willing to assist us with. The hotel was clean and not far from Graceland. The Hotel Van took us to Graceland. The only thing we found wrong during our entire stay was when we got ready to leave Graceland and go back to the Hotel, we weren't able to get through to the […] front desk due to it had rained a lot and the phones were out. The location of the hotel was out standing. All the addresses that I visited were within a reasonable distance of the hotel.

Excellent staff both the day and evening attendants. Helpful in planning events for our family to do and see. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Will use them again on my visit back to Memphis in may!

This hotel is ok for a 1 night stay at a decent price. It is really noisy since it is on a major road near a noisy bridge, near the airport and right next to a dump truck operation. The hotel itself was clean and the breakfast was sufficient. Our bed needed replacing - a bit saggy and lumpy.

I must admit that I was initially a bit worried about this particular area of Memphis, but because I had an extremely early flight, I had little choice in the matter. Though the area as a whole seems a bit dodgy, the LaQuinta was very secure and even has a gated parking area for guests to ward off any issues with automobiles. The staff was extremely […] helpful, professional, and polite. They were cheerful and lifted this fatigued traveler's spirits. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful and made up for the slow wireless connections in the rooms. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it for anyone who seeks lodging near the Memphis Airport or Graceland. Oh, and light sleepers beware - the hotel is directly in front of a plant of some sort and they begin their noisy work early in the morning. It did not bother me, but may intrude on others' rest. We enjoyed staying at the LaQuinta Inn because it was close to Graceland. Their weren't very many restaurants nearby. We felt secluded with the bars(fence) around the motel.

Was driving from Baton Rouge to Chicago with a baby and two dogs, so decided to stop in Memphis and St. Louis. La Quinta-Memphis was one of the few hotels that was pet friendly and right off the freeway, so that's why we chose it. So glad we did! Karen at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Staff was friendly, Hotel was clean throughout.Right off the interstate, easy to find. We had a great time, restaurants nearby, easy drive to Tunica down 61. Only two minor problems... Our room view was of a concrete plant. The coffee-maker only makes coffee for one. I found La Quinta to be very clean, with great service and friendly staff. It is quite close to Graceland, and if you don't have a car (which I didn't) they have a shuttle bus that can drop you off and pick you up. "I got eaten alive."
We spent 3 nights there and each night I was bitten by spiders or something. I got big, itchy, swollen welts that are still visible a week later.

We spent one night at this hotel on New Years Eve 2011. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel and the convenience of the location of the hotel in relation to the interstate (it is literally right off the interstate). We were a little bummed that the hotel's breakfast hours were 6am-9am, instead of 10am. This hotel is in a very covenient location and the staff is helpful and nice, the lobby was well maintained. Thats about all I can say that was good about our stay there.......our room was dirty and was not at all happy about the condition of the bed and sheets which both had stains on them, the bathroom was drty and was afraid to touch the hairdryer […] it was gross....I had stayed at a LaQuinta in Ohio a few days earlier and it was fantastic and very clean compared to this location!!!! If you like Dogs, then this is the hotel for you. I thought my room was very clean and comfortable. I felt the area was nice. The hotel had a gated parking area, which I liked. The breakfast was good, but I did not like the coffee. Every once in awhile you would hear an airplane. It was a nice place, easy location but with a UPS facility across the street from them & a construction in the back, it does make it a little hard to sleep, unless you are use to a lot of noise where you are. The beds were very comfy.

We travelled up to Memphis from New Orleans. The previous night we stayed in another (and I think better-known) motel chain - that room was old-fashioned and a bit musty. For the same room price, La Quinta was much higher quality. Clean, modern, very comfortable and close to Memphis Airport. Would definitely use La Quinta again.

"RENOVATIONS"
I would recommend that the hotel manger needs to do some more renovations on the rooms. the bath rooms need to be clean better that what they are been clean. the knobs on the tube need to taken apart and clean. the toliets are not mounted down as they shouls be. the locks on the doors should be change out .
