As per usual, the room was very nice, the staff exceedingly friendly and Knuckles Historical Sports Bar is still the best place to watch the Giants beat the Dodgers! If you are coming here on vacation..DONT. Just book a slightly more expensive room in SF proper. I booked a hotel here and for $250 a night, you would expect fast,reliable internet. Instead, I spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service and could barely access wifi from the room. The hotel rooms that face the freeway are very noisy. I asked to […] move to an inside location which was better. The front desk people were speaking Tagolog to one another when I checked in..I think they were commenting negatively about some of the Chinese tourists that were checking in. Not cool. Room offered for a family of 4, which was ok for only a 1 night stay, but two double beds is to small for 2 adults and 2 children of 11 and 13. The overall service (luggage, valet) was good, the Receptionist very kind, offered spontanously free Internet (sincerely, I think that should be so in any hotel nowadays). The hotel was nice and clean but the add-on fees were crazy! $20 parking fee per night, $10 for internet per night, $4 per water bottle and the food started at $14, for breakfast!!! Decent hotel, hyatt standards. Its not the Ritz but its nice. Bed was uncomfortable but its a hotel so that's to be expected (was a normal hotel mattress, not exceptionally bad). "Convenient Location - Great Hotel"
The hotel is approaching 25 years old now, so it's not state-of-the-art, but it's still quite lovely inside with its atrium design. The staff are friendly and Knuckles Bar serves some excellent pub food and decent cocktails. "Old, dated & disgusting!"
Overpriced! Our room was so dirty we asked to change rooms! The second room was not any better, they sprayed cleaner in the room and called it "cleaned"- Bathroom floor had hair and dirt- bed had dirt and scuff marks on the bed- the chair was thread bare, worn dirty, the lamp shade was broken- counters were dirty & spotted- Disgusting! We were very […] dissappointed because we had stayed at the Hyatt, in Burlingame, about 5 years ago & it was beautiful and wonderful- WAY OVERPRICED! The room was a good size, but the bathtub was not clean, and there were strange noises from the ventilation system and refrigerator. Also some cigarette smoke crept in. (It was a non-smoking room.) I was grateful the refrigerator was empty, and not stocked with stuff for sale, thereby allowing me to put items I'd purchased at the supermarket. "Great hotel at the San Francisco airport area"
We stayed in this hotel for a couple of days, it was great. It's located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, which I personally prefer. Less than 5 minutes drive to San Francisco airport and about 15 minutes drive to San Francisco downtown. "Don't stay here unless you have to..."
Stayed here for a business trip because it is close to the airport and the major freeway into San Francisco. Not worth staying there if you are not in the Hyatt rewards program. They treat you like a second class citizen and overtly treat Hyatt rewards members like they are more deserving.
